As I was on a 5-hour road trip and we wanted to press on towards home, our group just stopped in briefly at this McDonald's. Parking was plentiful. They are located right next to I-75 and probably do a huge business from that. Hence, the large lot I assume. They still have the drink dispensers out where customers can access them, though I heard this was universally going away in the next few years. Ordering is mostly via the large-screen kiosks, though one of the staff noticed my friends just walking up to the screen and offered to ring them up manually, which was nice. The staff was pretty cheerful as well. As fast food places along the interstate go, this was a good one. read more

The bathrooms weren't super clean, but just clean enough. I used the kiosk and it said that you would get a free cookie by doing that. No free cookie was in my bag. Also it has you enter a table topper number, but then called to have me pick it up.‍ The people next to me had their food brought to them so that was odd. My nuggets and fries were hot and delicious. My double double had seen better days. Overall, the restaurant was clean and it was convenient because it right off the highway. read more

The manager here was so nice and helpful. I love that their ice cream machine was working and they know how to give a full size fry. It was fresh it was perfect. They are super busy and their bathroom needs a little bit a TLC but everything else is great. I'd stop here again! read more

This McDonalds, just off I-16, is a full service, dine in location with drive thru. For the most part, it's what you expect from this fast food chain in the way of menu and restaurant layout. What's bothersome is finding the restrooms at this busy location needing attention, and a bag of trash outside of the restroom. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the automated ordering that they have at this location. Simply put, It takes jobs away from individuals. And, is it really customer service when you're waiting on yourself? Make sure you check your drive thru order at this location as well. I've frequented this McDonalds through the years and they have made plenty of order errors at their drive thru. Very frustrating to discover the mistakes when you have a car full of kids, and you're 10 miles down the interstate. read more

Stood in line (no one would walk over to knowledge us) for over 5 min. Finally went to the kiosk to order because no one ever came over to take our order. After stumbling through that for 5 minutes to order a gentleman walked in and went to the counter and wouldn't you know it someone came immediately to take his order. When we got our food part of our order was pancakes, they did not include fork/knife. Just how do you eat that without utensils? My husband went to the counter to get one and no one would respond to him, he even spoke up and ask for a fork...still nothing. I went up and basically had to yell "how do you expect someone to eat pancakes without a fork, please hand me one" before we could get one. I do not look forward to ever stopping here again!! Worse trip to any Mcdonalds in over 50 years. Save yourself find another place to eat. read more

It took 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee at 3:30 in the afternoon!! There were alarms going off everywhere, the manager was frazzled and completely disorganized, with no idea how to run a restaurant. Messed up another customer's Mobil order while I was waiting. Oh yes, and they ALL totally ignored me for 3-5 minutes when I first walked in even though there was only one other customer ordering. I finally ordered my own at the order screen. Waited quite a while for my order to be taken but in their defense they were swamped. One gentleman (didn't get his name) was working so hard and quickly to get everyone served. After stopping at two different McDonalds with slack employees who just stared blankly at me and would not take my order this was a pleasant experience. read more

The cash register lady kept giving me mouth like she just kept on going back-and-forth with me and then when I got my cheeseburger they forgot the meat in the burgers so it was just cheese and bread and when I went back up there she told me to just put go home and get some meat out the freezer read more

Wow. This is one of the best McDonald's that I've been to! There is touch screen electronic ordering as well as employees there to help! The staff was amazingly helpful and pleasant! In fact, two different employees went around to each table and asked if they needed anything, asked how their meals were, and brought them mints! I am blown away by the efficiency, pleasantness, and cleanliness of this McDonald's location! read more

I was traveling down I-16 heading to a week vacation with my family and we stopped by this restaurant. We all know that McDonald's has the best french fries in the world (there is no dispute for this) and my wife was craving some french fries - no she is not pregnant :). We pull in, the family walks the dogs and I go in to get those magical fries for my wife. I was greeted by a smiling face once I entered and was asked if I could be helped with my order. I appreciated the customer service and told the young man that I just needed some fries that morning. To my dismay, he told me that fries are not available until 11:00 am and it was only 10:30am at the time. I was crushed! How does McDonald's not sell french fries 24/7/365 and how do I tell my wife that there are no fries when all she wanted was those delicious morsels? But wait! Ambria came to the rescue! She approached me after seeing my disappointment and asked if she could help. I told her about the fries that I desperately needed and she told me she would check something and get back to me. Within 30 seconds, my fairy godmother (also known as Ambria) told me that she spoke to the manager (Shawn) who agreed to "drop some fries in just for me". I nearly leapt out of my body with joy as I can't ever remember being treated so kindly at a McDonald's in my 48 years of being alive! Ambria rung me up at the register and I think I left her a $10 tip for her kindness and incredible customer service. After a few minutes, Shawn brought me my fries with a smile and I proceeded to tell her that this was the best McDonald's experience of my life and I will tell the world! So here I am telling everyone, if you are driving on I-16 towards Macon, GA or going eastbound towards Savannah, GA, stop by the McDonald's at exit 51. Was there for lunch w/2 other family members. I ordered the Filet O Fish Meal w/large fries. After my order I realized I forgot to state no tarter sauce and went back to the cashier to let her know. SHE ROLLED HER EYES IN DISGUST. My cousin who was with me then asked this same casher what was the difference between these 2 sandwiches, the same casher replied: "I DON'T KNOW I DON'T EAT THIS FOOD!" Her tone in her voice was if the food was disgusting. Another employee at the front helping her also acted like she didn't want to be bothered when I asked for salt and ketchup. I was happy to see the cooks in the back wearing masks, but the ladies working in the front had no masks at all. I called today to speak to the Manager who wasn't in and I was told I could not leave a message to let her know about my experience. The ladies in the front acted like they didn't want to be there nor did they want to serve which I find very disappointing. I have never been to a McDonald's which so much attitude and poor customer service. We all start from somewhere, including me. My first job was at McDonalds in Atlanta at age 17. read more
