Brand new location, clean, bright... As good as it gets for McD minus that they don't have a play place for kidlets which could be a pro if you're not wanting to hear children ;-) P.S. By far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. This location messes up my order every single time I go, I keep saying to myself "maybe it'll be fine this time" then proceed to get burned, over and over. I've even had a situation where they made me pay for 2 different meals because they confused my order with someone else's in the drive through and wouldn't refund me. Absolutely do NOT recommend. Just take the extra 7 minutes and drive to Ford Road. read more

I would rate this place 0 stars if it was an option. Every single time we order from here, something is wrong. I either order a BLT and get egg on it (I'm allergic to eggs), poutine with no cheese, burgers with no meat or super sloppily put together (once even with the pickles on top of the bun), today we ordered 3 medium fries and received empty fry containers in the bag with no fries in there. I am beyond horribly frustrated by this location which obviously hasn't been regulated or even checked in on for quality purposes. I won't be visiting this McDonald's again, and, have definitely wasted too much of my money on this horrible location. read more

I don't understand how a fast food restaurant can be so bad with the most incompetent group of young kids working the front line and not giving a single care at all about quality service. Time and time again I've had anything but a good experience at this location and the main focus of it has to do with the food quality and lack of quality care. I ordered a Mcdouble with LIGHT pickles and onions, and also asked that mac sauce be added to the burger, instead I receive a barely warm burger with nothing that I asked for. There were no onions, only one pickle in the burger, and the sauce was extremely minimal that you couldn't even taste the mac sauce. On top of getting a burger I asked for 10 piece nuggets, not even 10 seconds into eating my meal and I realized my nuggets were so cold and old, it's almost like they scrapped the scraps of nuggets that fell on the floor, dusted off the debris and garbage on them and served them to me. So that enraged me a little bit. The only thing that was half decent about my meal was the fries and even that was still soft and old. I know it's not a 5 star restaurant and I understand that working at McDonald's for minimal pay sucks all together. But you're in the service industry and rules and standards are placed and set in motion for a reason. If you can't care enough to make sure the customers food is at least somewhat fresh and visually appealing, then quit your job and beg mommy and daddy to buy you everything you want and watch your butt get kicked to the curb so hard, by the time you realize it, you'll be in your 30s homeless and lonely. Please do us all a favor and do one of 2 things: either... 1. Demolish the building so that it ceases to exist or... 2. Fire these careless young punks and bring more immigrants from the Philippines because at least people from there actually do their best and some barely speak the language. The food was disgusting the lettuce tasted like garbage, was mushy and dead. So I went back for a refund and the manager would not give me a refund even though I expressed how unhappy I was with the food I was given. There was not enough sauce or pickles and the lettuce was garbage. I waited for 15 minutes if there was a 0 star review I would give them 0 stars. I wouldn't even feed this locations food to my dog. I've been stuck on the toilet for the last 2 days because the food was so bad. The food is awful the management is shit and I would never eat at this location again. read more

This Location is usually quite slow in getting orders ready and I always feel the need to check to ensure I actually received what I ordered before I leave. The drive thru is set up with the 2 lanes but it's still slow. Small location inside, play area for kids would be nice but it seems McDonald's is phasing these out in general. Not an ideal location for someone wanting to have a team event or birthday party for kids. There's not enough seating. read more

Would give this place a zero if I could. I work late nights so the several times I have been here I have gotten subpar service. Once I went through the drive-thru it was about midnight. Ordered my burger and asked if they had any pastries the fella over the intercom replied "no we don't, do you want me to take it out of the garbage for you?". He took me by surprise. I answered now and proceeded to the pay window where there was a female worker who that clearly looked like she was miserable. Because of this experience I didn't for for 3 months. Tonight I went again because it's the only place open from my drive home from work and I wasted 25 minutes in drive thru to get my order. This McDonald's continues to be the worst in Edmonton, but not for the food or crew, for the managers. The managers are constantly screaming in the restaurant at the mostly underage staff. Today I watched a manager named Maria scream at the staff making the food. It was so bad one kid was in tears. Maria is extremely unprofessional and should be held accountable for her actions. I will not return to a business who treats its employees like garbage, when in fact, it is her leadership that is trash. read more

The staff here are a very obliging and diligent bunch. The food quality can be a bit inconsistent, as it is at many locations of the McDonald's chain. Likewise, the dining room could be a bit cleaner at times. (The area around the drinks station, unsurprisingly, always seems to be a bit messy with trash and spills.) Try the create your taste option for a unique customized McDonald's meal. Having tried it once, I was sufficiently impressed by same that I might try it again. Recommended. read more

I am a very positive person but I just can't do it in this review. I can't remember the last time we had a good experience. The order is wrong way too much of the time. Often, we have to wait 10-15 minutes for our wrong order, even if we're ordering breakfast at breakfast time. We can go to another location 10 minutes away and get where we're going faster with the right order. My son got a hamburger with no meat. I had a chicken wrap with one small piece of crispy chicken (I didn't order crispy) and hardly any vegetables. And I'm not sure why they changed their Smoothie recipe. They used to be so good. Egg McMuffins with no cheese..... I could go on. The kids working have always been pleasant however twice I could hear an adult manager through the drive thru window (I had lots of time) being extremely rude to people.
