Ok- so hard core tempers might ask "why would you bother to yelp fast food?" After all its fast food- it should be the same anywhere. The reason- I feel that fast food establishments only get yelled when something goes wrong. Thus they usually have terrible reviews. People complaining about wrong orders or bad service. I feel that's what has happened to this McDonald's. I have been through the drive through at this locations quite a few times over the years. I have the following consistent experiences: -fast drive through lines -friendly staff -correct orders -food is as expected I would hate for people to specifically avoid a place due to 6 bad experiences that customers have had. Everyone has the right to express their negative opinion- by no means am I not saying it's wrong. I'm saying more people should consider yelling when they have positive experiences- even at fast food restaurants. read more

I was walking into McDonald's with a good hungry attitude, but when I got my food I was LIVID. My sandwiches were folded and my meat was too hot when I am STARVING. I waited in line in the drive through for 15 minutes...most of the cars actually put our cars in park because we just sat for so long. I ordered a fish sandwich with no tartar sauce and was pleased to see the sandwich box labeled with that special receipt... until I got a few miles down the road and started eating it. Nope, drowning on tartar sauce. I also got an apple pie for dessert and it was cold and doughy. Very bad. I feel like I basically just paid $6 for a diet coke. read more

This place takes forever to go through and it took us 45 minutes for 2 plain cheeseburgers and 1 chicken sandwich. Do not recommend, go to the Burger King or Arby's across the street. At 11:03pm I ordered 4 double cheeseburgers, 2 with pickle and 2 without. told to pull to the first window without getting the total. no one was at the window. had to pull to the second one. got up there and the manager didn't even know what we ordered. I repeated myself and paid. 3 people total behind me in line drove off without paying and went to arbys across the street. the manager came back to the window after 5 minutes or so and said they were almost done, the meat was on the grill. got the food at 11:15pm. started going home and my wife opened up the bag. 4 double cheeseburgers all without pickle. meat was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. The place is absolutely disgusting and the service is horrible I walk it to screaming kids and a very very slow cashier and after the 15 min long wait to get to the cashier she walks away and plays on her phone for 3-4 min and then I say something ab it and she glares at me and takes my order and is very very disrespectful and I ask for the manager and she acts like she didn't hear me and then my food comes and I grab it and storm off to my car and then when I get home it's not even what I ordered I ordered a chicken strip meal and she gave me a quarter pounder with no burger... like why would u do that then after that I call them and I told her who it was and she hung up and then after that she didn't pickup the phone oh yea did I forget to mention that the soda machine was broken? read more

Me and my family ordered two small fries, a burger, small shake, and a small smoothie. My mom got her shake right away but then we ended waiting 30 min to finally get our food and my smoothie. It seemed like only one girl was really working. She had to refill the smoothie and make fries. Everyone was just sitting around doing nothing. Keep in mind this was at 9:30 pm and we still had an hour drive. I understand why this place has such low ratings. Thankfully the girl gave us a free pie. read more

Find another McDonald's. Complete failure of management. Comically bad service. 15 minute waits and wrong orders left and right. People coming in from drive through to get items they were missing. Worst McDonald's! We ordered 4 sandwiches, 2 were wrong. When I went back in, I dropped the sandwiches on the counter, said they were wrong And I wanted new ones. A cashier who hadn't helped me gave me lip and laughed. Someone else came up to refund our money and told staff to repeat orders because ours was so messed up. While she gave me the money, I told her their customer service was bad from their cashiers. The cashier threw her hands in the air and said I'm about to go off on this bitch and stormed to the back of the kitchen, in the midst of helping another customer. I had waited 5 minutes at that point with no new food and was afraid they'd spit in it so I walked out without food. The general manager followed me to my car with the cashier after her. I thought she would apologize but instead she told me never to come back after throwing food at and harassing her cashiers, flipped her hands at me and walked away. Avoid at all costs! The situation scared my kids hi were in the backseat as she followed me out to my car. read more

This a darn atrocity. I felt as if I walked into a shack that had low quality food and even lower quality service. I ordered a breakfast burrito that would have been better used as a brick. I almost chipped my tooth. One of my mates is still suffering emotional trauma from his "wet" syrup - Cody. Can you imagine getting to ride in a car with the best driver in Cedar Rapids? Well that's noting like riding with who was driving us, so his "wet" syrup about went into his lap 20+ times. That's a scary thing. Also, of the 4 separate orders, we received zero napkins. It's fine though, I'll just wipe my greasy hands on my pants. We're good! I wish I could say my disappointment reached its summit but I would be lying if I said that. My experience continued to worsen when I tried to wash down the worst and over cooked hash brown of my life. There's only two types of pop that come in the fountain. One with too much syrup and one that's too watery. EVERY ONE WAS LIKE THIS. I'm talking the worst sprite you could ever imagine. Overall, this is an insult to the food industry.
