It does seem like it caters more to the college crowd in town since there were a lot of students it seemed, but it was still great. Lots and lots of options here including the Supermacs with burgers and chicken, a papa John's, a sub shop, and an ice cream shop. I got the hamburger, chips, and chicken tenders and it was absolutely amazing. Good food and quality for a great price.

I noticed the shredded cheese isn't super melty. After a bit of sitting on the hot chips, it melts a little bit. The garlic sauce was decent, not as garlicy as I would have thought after reading some of the previous reviews. One thing to note, they do take credit cards, but charge .50 to use. Which was fine by me. Also, they have doner which I should have ordered, the meat roasting on the vertical spit looked damn good.

When I asked for something different she said they would charge me for it. Another friend had her burger and it made her stomach upset for 3hrs afterwards. We leave, make a comment about the sign outside that said they don't have the specials they are advertising and they said they just don't have it "today". Which means you still don't freaking have it!?! So take the sign down it's false advertising. Then the server just said "it's fine. Bye." And closed the door in my wife's face. The taco fries were good but I probably wouldn't get them again. They didn't have that punch of spice I was hoping for. We also got a 99 (soft serve ice cream cone with a Flake added) which was creamy and delicious. It was a perfect treat on this hot day. Supermacs is about the same level as a Sonic here in the US and if you ever find yourself nearby you just need to try it to see for yourself. It very much felt like pricy fast food as opposed to real proper restaurant food. The service was very slow, they forgot one of our orders, did not have any herbal teas except green tea (not even earl grey or peppermint which I find almost all restaurants have) and they did not let us pay separately which made be reduce the stars from a 3 to a 2. Also, I think that the staff could be a bit more attentive to customers. The dessert menu was also quite small. The good points were that the atmosphere was pretty lively, the place seemed clean and the prices were not too bad but didn't really justify the poor quality of food. The restaurant offers an excellent beverage selection as well, including standard fare plus a range of organic herbal teas from a local Galway tea blender and a range of the popular Italian, Lavazza coffees. My cup of jasmine green tea was divine. The menu is also varied. There was a nice selection of starters, burgers, and of course the advertised pastas and pizzas but also, there were a number of kebob and curry dishes and green salads.
