Haven't ate any McDonald's lately but decided last night to order a Big Mac attack combo meal thru delivery service. The food was cold, fries was soggy and taste old. The chicken McNuggets was overcooked and the Big Mac was tasteless. Skimpy on the sauce and overall it was a horrible experience. There's 13 other McDonald's in Fayetteville, NC. I went to McDonald's on my 30 mins lunch, to enjoy a meal; however, upon arriving home, I discovered my order was incorrect! I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder meal, with a 10 piece chicken nugget. The burger was missing the extra patty, and the bun was HARD! I called to McDonald's and requested to speak with a manager, I spoke with someone named Debuntae (female employee), I advised the issue and was quickly dismissed with the response of bring your receipt with all the items in the bag and it would be replaced, and this RUDE MCDONALDS employee hung-up, before I could finish what I was saying. I had to callback to advise, I was working, and I was hungry. She stated she would be there until 10pm. I proceeded back to McDonald's, I happened to see the manager/supervisor approaching the facility from outside, and I advised I previously called about my order. I advised that I was working and had to come back up here to have my order corrected. I advised I wanted my meal for free gor the inconvenience; she replied I can't give you the meal for free and offered me a APPLE PIE, as she was walking away!!!!! Rude!!!! I asked for the General Manager number, as well as the District Manager's number, the response was "I cant give you that, you can take a survey online", as she held the door open to enter the facility! I spoke fast, and requested a refund, as she walked through, she said Ill bring you a refund. There were so many things wrong with this situation! 1) My customer experience, was HORRIBLE! 2) My request for my meal to be compensated back to me was for the inconvenience of missing time away from work was blatantly dismissed 3) my request to obtain the General Manager and District Manager's contact information was dismissed 4) My order was not only incorrect, the bun was extremely hard, as if the buns were exposed to the open air for some time 5) The nonchalance of the " so called" manager/supervisor was unacceptable, disrespectful, and quite dismissive 6) I was not given my original receipt back, Luckily, I took a picture of it before I left, as McDonald's has the worst customer service out of all the fast food restaurants available, hence the 2.0 rating online. 7) I was hung-up on before I could finish what I was saying when I called to advise of the incompetence. My questions to McDonald's are: Is this McDonald's customer service standards? Does McDonald's allow its employee's to hangup on customers, as they're speaking? Does McDonald's allow nonchalant attitudes as if they hate their job? Does McDonald's have in place Customer Service standards and adequate training? Does McDonald's offer a PIE for the inconvenience of having to take time off of work to return to its establishment, to have to not only wait additional time for orders to be CORRECTED and/or request a refund? Every time I order from this location there's always an issue. Somethings always missing, made wrong, or absolutely sloppy. I ordered through Doordash, they forgot all the fries in my order, and both McFlurries I had ordered (both with extra Oreo) So upon getting a refund through doordash-because they weren't offering to send out the missing items- I had to RE-order the missing items, and wait an additional almost hour for the delivery on top of paying a new delivery fee and driver tip. I got the "McFlurries" if you could even call them that. It was basically just soft serve in a McFlurry cup. They had put the most sarcastic light sprinkle of Oreo on top knowing I had ordered EXTRA. MCDONALD'S, LOCATED AT 3000 N. MAIN STREET, HOPE MILLS, NC 28348. The lady who was taking my order at the drive through was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. I was behind a gentleman who was placing his order. The lady took his order, and he waited in her to reply with will that be it, thank you, please pull forward, is your order correct on the screen, SOMETHING, but nothing. He said three or four times, "hello". Finally, the lady replied and asked if she could take his order. He says, "ma'am, I just placed my order with another lady. The lady says, "ok pull forward". Anyway, I'm thinking to myself that his order will not be correct. I pull forward to the window and I wait and wait. This McDonald's has two lanes, so I was seeing people in the other lane steady place their order and move forward. Finally, I was asked to place my order, which I did. I watched my order pop up on the screen, which was completely wrong. I waited for her to ask if my order was correct, pull forward or something, so I could inform her of the mistake on the screen. After a few min. I began to say "hello, hello" with no reply. This is a busy area and traffic is a bit loud, so after a few seconds and still no reply I raised my voice a bit, but not in an over loud tone. The lady finally responded with "quit yelling" I replied "ma'am you were not responding to me, and she stated "why? because I'm doing my job? I replied "ma'am, you did the same thing to the gentlemen before me and now you are being rude to me. I told her to cancel my order and that I would be calling the general manager. Her reply was "OKAY"! I'll be honest, I let my temper flare and did call her an ugly name before pulling off, which I am ashamed of myself for doing that and lowering myself to that level. This lady just had me so upset because of the way she spoke to me. I work for the public too and I know customers can be difficult to deal with but in this situation, I did nothing to cause her to act the way she did towards me and the man ahead of me also did nothing. It's possible that she was having a bad morning, but you do not treat people like that, especially your customers. The ones who you need to keep happy and returning back for you and your co-workers job security. Also, with the way fast food chains are replacing their employees with computers who take their orders, this is not how you prevent McDonald's from following this trend. I will say that I have been to this MacDonald's multiple times in the past as I work around the corner, and this is the very first time I have ever been treated badly. Only 1 time was there an issue in the drive thru but there was a football game going on at the high school and the girl running the drive thru did not have good team working with her. The night shift Manager named (DENNIS), gave me my daughter's order and I then told my daughter to check to make sure the order was correct, it was not correct, and I was told by Dennis to pull forward, because there were customers behind, and I would have to come inside the store so the order can be corrected. Surely, I stood there for over an hour, while Dennis was there serving everyone else there in the drive-thru as If no one else was standing there in the store waiting on his or her order. So I called one of the Crew Trainers and told her what was going on. The reply out Dennis's mouth was she can wait, I am going to make her wait as long as I can, While it was already over an hour standing there waiting for the order to be corrected. However, The order still was not corrected, and I ended up leaving out of frustration without the order being corrected, these workers or the night shift manager named Dennis were blatantly disrespectful and had no customer service values. This has not been the first time I have had problems going to this McDonald's, each time I go there I am always told to pull forward someone will bring my food out, to no available no one came out with the food. I have never had a problem there until tonight. I ordered a strawberry banana smoothie from there using DoorDash. They sent us a mango smoothie. No big deal things happen. I got a refund with door dash and ordered again (making sure to put that they cancel the order if they are out of said item). Fast forward 30 minutes and my order arrives and it's another man got smoothie. Well I'm upset at this point so I call McDonald's and ask them if they are out. They say no and try to blame it on door dash where I promptly said it can't be their fault because they are given a sealed bag with my name on it so there is no way the door dash driver can be at fault. It gets silent then the phone hangs up. I give them a chance again and call back 10 times and still no answer. Even tried from my wife's phone.
