Just like most of us, we've been to a LOT of different McDonald's in our lives. Some traveling through towns and some in our hometown. I think it is safe to say that this particular McDonald's is in the top 3 WORST McDonald's I have ever been to. Unfortunately this one is in my hometown. Let's start with the food. Well, its McDonald's and you get what you pay for. It's about a 50/50 chance you're going to get what you ordered. It's usually slapped together with very little care that someone is actually going to eat it. About half the time your fries will be upside and on the bottom of the bag. Almost every single time you order breakfast, something is going to be missing so if you are in the drive-thru (which is its own complaint below), make sure you got EVERYTHING (syrup for your pancakes) before you move on. Lobby service is just awful. Ever since McDonald's got those kiosk ordering stations, the person-to-person interaction is just abysmal. I've seen them purposefully avoid/ignore anyone at the registers until the customer leaves. This particular McDonald's staff pretty much doesn't care one bit about you as the customer. Odd that they don't realize that without us (customers) they ain't got no job! No greetings, no thank you, nothing. Look, in my town we've got 6 other fast food joints within a 1/2 mile of this McDonald's that I'd rather spend my money at. Drive-Thru service... oh gosh. Good luck with your order. And again... no greetings, no thank you, nothing. CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!! The parking lot is typically filled with trash and quite often, every table inside is also filthy and the trash cans are full. Anyways.... go somewhere else. read more

They were very slow. My order was not complete and I specifically asked the girl if everything was there. NOT !!! Got home and discovered that items were missing. Grandkids were upset ,to say the least. Gave up my portion of the meal so they could all eat. Called several times and guess what.. .NO ANSWER !!! Guess I'll pay them a visit in the morning and hopefully they make things right. If not, I'll have no other option but to call corporate. read more

Absolutely SUCKs. Food is like any other McDonald's, but what sucks is the service. Horrible service. Needs to clean house and rehire again.

if I could give this place a 0 on stars I would! stood at counter forever waiting and finally ordered on the screens in lobby, wait awhile on the order, she slings the bag up on counter and calls my number and was rude as hell when I ask for ketchup. rude as hell from get go! get to the car to a cold sandwich that's hard like it'd been cooked in the microwave, the stuff in it was all over the box instead of on the sandwich. the fries had old black crust on them from dirty grease and that's all you could taste is grease. I was in about 9:45am for a quick breakfast. They were not busy at this time. Service was very fast and everyone very friendly. In the past I have had issues with the fountain drink area not being clean but today I found it to be very clean. For a chain I would easily give them a 3 for this visit. As far as they go as a company I'm disappointed in the way they have changed the menu around. No dollar menu and specials that I like are now hard to come by. I will continue to stop by occasionally for a fast meal but preferring some of the local venues. read more

Stopped for lunch with Lovey Dove after a couple of hours on the road - and a major lull in conversation. Clear signage. Good parking. Little tike sitting on the counter while mama talks to an employee. Off to the side. Family time??? I'm feeling classic, so #9 (2 cheeseburgers) for me. L.D. - ever the adventurer!!! - goes for the Grand McExtreme meal...from Spain (of all places!!!). Bacon-y McGoodness. Two identical drink stations seemed a little redundant if you ask me!?! Super rude. Gave an order but didn't finish, then was cut off and told to pull around to the first window. Got there, corrected it and the lady got the order wrong when she said it back. We corrected the order, then she got short with us. Slammed the window, yelled at the staff to cook another hash brown and make the tea large. Not a "thank you, pull up" "have a nice day" or anything. Got to the second window. Tea was still small and they didn't have all of the food ready. Pulled up and waited for 10 minutes and then the food FINALLY came to the window. Overall a wonderful experience. read more

This may be the worst McDonald's on the planet. The food is standard McDonald's faire. What separates this one from the pack is the employees. They stay in a constant verbal battle all of the time. I have never been in there without hearing the staff fight amongst themselves. It is clear to me that there is no manager or at least the manager does not know what matters to customers; a clean, quiet place to eat. My most recent visit was greeted with a downed cappuccino machine. I only go there because my kids like to eat breakfast before school and our choices are limited in a small town. The cappuccino is "so-so" but it is the only decent part of this restaurant. If you can stand Hardee's, go across the street and skip this one. read more

Most McDonald's are the same. The food and service are generally what you expect from fast food. But, this establishment wins the award for the suckiest McDonald's in AL. The food itself isnt bad. Its the service. Everytime I come here its horrible! I understand the employees only make minimum wage- but, seriously?? Everytime???? There is a McDonald's in Grove Hill, a town about 20 miles from here. Take your money there. The employees are nice and they get your order correct the first time. read more

Normal mcdonalds food and the place is also newly renovated. The service is pretty bad though. They will have 12 people working when they really only need about 8 or 9 if the employees would actually work. I have been there sometimes and haven't seen an employee over about 22 years old. read more

By far the most uneducated, unprofessional, servers I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have complained about the uncleanness of this same restaurant in the past and it was corrected. I don't see a bright future for this place with the current employee pool. And getting the correct order at the drive through is a hassle. read more

We went through McDonald's tonight and the order was wrong. We were charged extra for fries we had already paid for. When we tried to speak to the "manager" on duty, she argued with us at the window causing the person behind us to make some ugly remarks. When we finally got the food and order situated, the food was COLD!!! They gave us a coke instead of sweet tea and when the sweet tea was being made, they hid away from us ducking down where we could not see what was going on. We refuse to drink the tea because we believe it was spit in. This is the WORST McDonald's with the WORST employees. They are there for nothing more than a paycheck. They have NO customer service skills, they are rude, and don't care about their jobs. Save your money! Go to the store and make your own hamburgers! It would be cheaper since the prices have gone up! This is the absolutely the worst McDonalds ever! It has gone down so much in the past few months. The fries are soggy especially at lunch. Last night I got a chicken sandwich from there and I have NO idea what the meat was on it!!!! completely unidentifiable!!! The service is awful.....there are about 3 people who work there that are nice....the rest are rude miserable people who shouldn't work with the public much less with food. I will drive to Mt. Vernon if I want McDonalds from now on because the ones in Jackson, Grove Hill and Thomasville are all under the same owner. read more
