Believe the hype. The only reason it's 2 stars is because the food itself was fine quality wise. 20 minutes after paying and being to the 2nd window before the food came out and then there were no napkins, the happy meal was made wrong, and no sauces. They had pulled us (and like 6 other cars up) to prevent their times from being bad. I asked the lady to wait for me to check if there were sauces and she did and she went back to get them and then we still ended up with the wrong sauces. I had 2 special needs individuals with me who are very picky about their food and between the wait and the wrong sauces when we finally got to the park everyone was upset. We placed our order via mobile app. We arrived and received our receipt at 12:24pm so mid "lunch rush" there were no other cars in line aside from us and one that pulled up at the same time. They had 3 previous vehicles pulled to the pick up parking spots waiting for food and a handful of people inside. Our food was finally brought to us at 12:39 and then we had to wait for our sauces to be brought back out at which point all drinks were already finished and everyone was ready to be gone so I pulled away sure it was correct. Unfortunately, it was not. Overall, prime lunch time in the drive thru for a mobile order of a happy meal, a 20 piece, 2 fries and 2 drinks we shouldn't have spent 30 minutes on it. Next time I will take the next exit north on 77 to go to the McDonald's in Elkin * Update* the apples that were given instead of the extra fries we ordered in the happy meal are expired. *SIGH* read more

For reasons i can not easily state this store has had issues. I have spoken to the management both on premises and off regarding my experiences and the response has been the same. A difficulty in hiring quality engaged staff. And while the nature of the business has changed since their golden age in the 60's and 70's. In this particular visit I ordered the quarter pound burger and i had to return their products twice for raw meat. Their is a specific reason it is necessary to fully cook ground beef. A reason "Jack in the Box" discovered in the early 90's. For me receiving raw middle in the meat TWICE is a very big red flag. Staff should have been concerned when it was identified TWICE. As a former McDonalds First Assistant Manager, that the McDonalds corporation has very well defined and strict procedures and policies for preparing the products in order to prevent customers being exposed to dangerous food circumstances. On being presented with a raw center of their burgers the management if this store told me this is how they serve their burgers. And that they could prepare mine extra well done if I wanted it. This is flatly concerning for me. Any raw ground beef is risky! When they replaced it the final time.. it was burnt and not edible. I simply left my tray and food in the table and left. I know this experience is not representative of what the corporate wants for the customers. I cannot recommend this location based on the risk i identified in my visit. read more

Customer service is terrible. Not only was I waiting for over 45 minutes, but I was also treated horribly. I ordered 2 McFlurries, one Oreo and one M&M and both mixed with fudge. The man who took my order placed it wrong, so when I got it I had 2 Oreo Mcflurries. I asked for my correct order and the woman talking to me named Leslie Crispen said that they weren't allowed to remake it unless I paid for what was listed or I order another one, which is not true because I've been here more times than I can count and thats never happened the countless times they get my order wrong. She then went in the back and started calling me and my friend names to her co-workers and talking about us. Horrible! Then, she gave me my order wrong again so when I asked for it to be mixed she freaked out and slammed my cup on the table with ice cream all over it. Wont ever be here again. I had to pull up and wait for my food but the sad thing about this I had to wait about 10 minutes and when I got my food the fries and the burger was cold but not only that the buns smell burnt and the fries container was only filled half way. So for $11.30 you could go wait 10 minutes for your food and have a cold hard sandwich with basically nothing on it and have a half container of fries at your local Jonesville,NC McDonald's. Trash place and trash food no wonder I stopped eating there a long while back but today something told me I should give it another go but I will never do it again. read more

Racist McDonald's I am Asian And I have a food delivery job. Recently, I was forced to do something unfair that I had never asked for from an employee here, and when I refused as my right, all delivery dates were rejected by the manager. Because I am an Asian and an old woman with poor English I thought I was being forced to do something that nobody asked me to do. I wanted to live hard and have been working really hard on this job as my second job. Even so, I felt really hurt, frustrated, and humiliated as I suffered this kind of thing. I live in a small town in Elkin and I love living here. Also, the satisfaction of doing delivery work in Inai and the joy of meeting customers were great. Stopped here on way back from Florida on what shaped up to be an absolute nosebleed nightmare of a trip that lasted nearly 18 hours in a vehicle that I basically was chained to drive. Was a rented car so oh well. This is your standard McDonalds really. You kind of get what you're used to and what you should expect with any McDonald's anywhere. Which is: 1.) a semi-clean dining room. There are usually a large crowd at points so keeping the area clean can be a challenge and really - just in general - you don't come to a McDonalds for a dine-in great experience and a five star dining experience. 2.) decent food overall. It's fast-food. You know what you are getting because the staff is trained to make the items the same way over and over and over. Really if you have a bad meal there's really something wrong. 3.) mild bathroom cleanliness. Really a crapshoot. I would recommend putting toilet paper down on the seat and clean as much as possible before using rest room. I got an iced coffee and sandwich. It was standard overall. Once again McDonalds screws the customer. I ordered a Quarter Pounder with cheese Deluxe, extra tomato, no onions, pickles, or mustard. What I got was a Quarter Pounder with BOTH pieces of cheese hanging halfway off of the damn burger, no lettuce, no tomatoes, and no mayonnaise, but with extra onions, pickles, and mustard. You can see in the pic where I peeled the plastic cheese off the box and stuck it on the burger. Now a bunch of it is under my fingernails, too. How freakin hard is it to make a sandwich? This company sucks ass, and their employees are worthless. And btw, they charged me for the extra tomato. Edit: So I called the store and Jason Benge, the night manager, said he "can't do anything" unless I come back to the store. Unfortunately for me, I am 50 miles down the road now. Wow and Wow! No toilet paper or soap in the Ladies Bathroom. Three large spills of water on the floor near the condiments counter, that my child went sliding on as we walked in. I pointed out the mess on the floor to two workers, who both nodded at me and continued what they were doing. Took 5 minutes for someone to put a yellow Caution Sign next to the water. Geez, I could've dried it up quicker myself with napkins. I know, it's McDonald's, and not a fancy restaurant. But still, make an effort to keep your restaurant clean and sanitary!! I live in Yadkinville and work in elkin and the Jonesville McDonald's is probably the worst experience you will ever have six times in a row orders has been either wrong or missing items and not to mention I'm also one of the customers among the many to have gotten a cockroach in my iced coffee and good luck calling and trying to complain the manager will either just say sorry or tell you that calling corporate will get you no where and to tell you it's useless I will or would rather drive all the way to Winston Salem to avoid this one from now on not to mention all the staff mostly are rude as he!! Its bad enough that they regularly get the orders wrong but even when they technically get the order right they only fill the fries up half way. Forget the fact that I paid for a medium frie its bad on the environment. Why waste a large container for a small size amount of fries? I know its complicated to put deep fried potato sticks in a paper container but would it be too much to ask that the trainers take 30 seconds to demonstrate the difference between full and half-assed? Horrible I went here just to get 2 Sandwiches and a Large Fry and 1 small McFlurry but I guess that those things take 30 Min! I went in the drive-thru paid and they told me to sit and wait. There was only 1 other person in the drive thru and 3 cars parked outside so I sat in the pick up spot for 34 MIN! Fancy new building which is very appealing. I stopped here with my wife and two toddlers around 7pm. The service at the place was average, but if I was the owner of this new building I would be livid with how it is maintained. I've been to many older McDonald's that were much cleaner than this one.
