This is the first time I have been to this particular McDonalds. My niece (F4) had really wanted to go with us after a long day of babysitting. The food was decent for a McDonalds. The tables were all relatively dirty, but besides that it wasn't all that bad. The workers seemed to care more about the online orders than the in person, mainly due to this loud woman who walked in. She worked for one of those online food delivery whatchamacallits. She went on and on about how the napkins were still empty, she had done a prior delivery here. So much so that my niece started doing the, "yapyap hands", as she would call it. Peace was restored when we left, my niece finished her 40 chicken nuggets and all was well. read more

It's a crap shoot whether you get what you want or how good or bad the service is. Ordered a bacon 1/4 pounder with cheese, no bacon on it, the label on the box said it was a bacon 1/4 pounder, but sadly it was not. This is not the first time I've ordered from here and not gotten what I wanted. Sometimes the service is so bad. I went through the drive thru once and ordered a frappe to be told the machine wash broken, only to hear the person behind me order one with no problem. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there used to be a placed called McDonald's where families could bring their children for a good, hot, fast meal of hamburgers, fries, and chocolate milkshakes. The food was cheap but delicious, and everyone had a good time. Those days are gone. The McDonald's at 8056 Sheridan Road in Kenosha is a dump. Yes, I said a dump. Dirty, filthy, disgusting, and useless. I should not have come here and in truth, I will never do so again. There is a Culver's next door; I will happily take my business there. The drive-through is a joke. I sat at the speaker-box for nearly five full minutes, while motorcars passed through the 'other' speaker-box on a regular basis. I called out 'hello' several times. No one answered. I finally pulled around to the first window. No, I was not greeted. The cashier (with purple hair) finally said, "Did you order the chicken sandwich?" No welcome, no greeting, no anything. "No," I said. "I haven't ordered because no one took my order." "Oh, yeah, right." No apology, no excuse, no anything. When I pulled up to the second window, the employee opened and shut the glass several times before handing me a tepid, stale soda. Oh, yay is me. Warm soda! The employee then disappeared; I don't know where she went. Two very large men wandered around, looking bored and doing nothing. I don't know who they were; they were not wearing name-tags. Five to ten minutes later, my order finally arrived. When I looked in the bag (to ensure it was in fact MY order) the fries had been tossed in upside down. Upside down. No, I'm not kidding. This McDonald's is a dirty, filthy, disgusting, useless, revolting dump filled with employees who do not do their jobs and do not care to do their jobs. Not a great location for dashers or Uber Drivers. They completely ignore you even when they see you are up front. Do not recommend ordering from this location if you are using a service for pick up. I do both Uber and DoorDash and would not recommend ordering from this location at all. read more

Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Decided to try their new fried chicken sandwich. I guess this is supposed to be competition with Chick-fil-A. The packaging is even similar. Anyway, I don't think Chick-fil-A fully has anything to worry about! Although the quality of the chicken was better than chicken McNuggets, it was a distant second. I still like McDonald's french fries. I don't believe anyone comes close! This restaurant was very clean, and the staff was courteous and attentive. everyone there is super nice! they get busy sometimes but still take orders in a timely manner. the manager is very friendly and goes above and beyond. If my order is ever wrong they are polite and kindly offer to remake item with a smile on their faces. They are much better than some of the reviews I see smh read more

The worst drive thru I have ever been thru! This morning with clock change they took orders and it took them 30 minutes to fill the orders. They were telling everyone to pull forward and park in reserved parking, the entire parking lot was parked the filled the easy orders first and made everyone else wait. You couldn't back out of reserved parking spots because the drive thru line was so congested. We saw 4 female workers all standing in the drive thru window area doing absolutely nothing. We have been going to McDonald's for years and never have we seen shenanigans like this. Would not recommend McDonald's go elsewhere on Sheridan! read more

Went through the two lane drive through and for some reason unbeknownst to me, nobody said can "I take your order" instead the person at the window kept taking the second drive through line orders. I said "Hello" and an irritated voice response with " just a minute" so after she continues with the order in the second drive through she finally said @can I take your order?" I said "No" and proceeded to cut across the other lane and leave to go to Culver's. As I was driving away I heard "fuck you"through the intercom, that's when I drove around the front, parked and went in to speak to the manager. Probably the slowest McDonald's in the world! You will wait 20 minutes in line to get to the intercom for no one to say anything for another 5 minutes. You'd think that after this location was updated things would run smoother that's not the case here. I've seen numerous cars just leave the drive through line even after ordering due to how slow this McDonald's location. read more

They said No we don't know anything about the App. I asked if they would honor the coupon on the App since they couldn't help me use it. NO again. Tonight the person at the drive-through should've been doing something she could handle. Food is decent. Line takes too long. Too much grease on food. The proportions of the burger and cheese is outrageous. Sometimes they don't even have the bun fully on the burger which is really annoying to hold. Sometimes the workers look like they don't want to be there. I mean I don't hold high expectations for McDonald's because it's well, McDonald's. However this McDonald's in particular seems to not know what they're doing. I work right down the road so it's so convenient in the morning to stop by to grab an iced coffee. Which is what my intentions were this morning. As per usual their drive thru line was touching Sheridan road and the line was hardly moving. I was in the drive thru for 15 minutes. When I finally got to the order intercom, no one was speaking, the other order intercom was being helped, and 4 cars had been helped before I was even acknowledged, now keep in mind I had to say hello as if I was waiting for an automated system to ask for something. Finally a guy asks what I want and I say a caramel iced coffee, the order is taken, and I proceed to the window. The first thing this guy does before taking my money is stares at my thighs, there was no avoiding the obviousness of the stare. I hand him my payment and he goes to give me my change and proceeds to tell me I need to allow him to take me out because I like "gooooood" thanks for the compliment however that's not how I want to be treated by an employee of an establishment. I then get to the pickup window and I'm handed my coffee and proceed on my way, and you guys, this coffee was horrible. Never again, I'm just going to commute to Starbucks now. read more

This McDonalds is generally clean, and the staff are for the most part friendly. This location has a nice dining area. However, there is a longer waiting time at this location which isn't too big of a deal because I'm generally not in a hurry. The biggest reason I do not like this location is they have a both a severe fly, and fruit fly problem. I was here months ago and noticed it, especially around the fountain drinks. I then returned today hoping that it had been taken care of, and it was just as bad. read more

This McDonald's has problems. One day, I was told at the drive-thru that they were out of large drink cups. For a week this month, their ice cream and frappe machines were not working. Another time last week, while I was paying for my order at the drive-thru, I mentioned to the woman at the window that there was garbage alongside the building in the drive-thru lane. She said "we don't clean up garbage." She said they were understaffed. I asked if there was a manager near-by, and she said the woman behind her was the manager, who just stood there and said nothing. It was still there the next day. One day earlier this year, no one spoke to the cars in the drive-thru lanes; you could not place your order. Eventually I drove up to the payment window and watched the employees hitting a balloon back & forth. Sometimes the beverages are not filled completely. The last time, when I brought it to an employee's attention, he added ice to make it look full. Every time they hire a really great employee, that person quits soon afterward. Why do I still go there? It's close to our house. read more
