This McDonald's (885 Robert Raymond Dr Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367) is by far the worst one I have been to and unfortunately for me and my family it is the closest one to our house. Their food quality is horrible. I have received McRibs on a round Big Mac bun, missing or cold food (especially fries), ran out of hamburgers patties (really???) oh and best one...dine-in closed on a Friday night @ 8:30pm with no signs on the door to tell you why. The only good thing about this place is that it is fairly newer and clean. If they built another McDonald right across the street I would never go to back to this one ever again. read more

This is quite possibly the worst McDonalds ever! Only two curbside parking spots so if those are full good luck getting your food. When you call to ask where your food is, they tell you to move to a different location and then make you continue to wait! Still can't get anyone to help you when you go inside and they make you seem like it is your fault. Normally this wouldn't be the end of the world but something happens literally every time i come to this location. so pictures it. i get to the drive thru line, it's not too long, maybe a car or two ahead of me to get to the speaker. i get to the speaker and im waiting for (i kid you not) 8 minutes before im acknowledged. and i was only acknowledged because i had to yell "hello" into the speaker. i hate doing that as i used to work for mcdonald's and know how annoying it is, but 8 minutes? really? anyways i order my food finally get to the window. the lady that gave me my food practically throws it in my face with an extremely rude facial expression and tone in her voice. then i get halfway home only to realize the fries are definitely old, like should have been wasted at least a couple minutes ago old, and they gave me the wrong drink. if it weren't for the waiting and the rudeness i dealt with earlier this wouldn't have been the end of the world. so i go back and get to the speaker and tell them id just like my correct drink and fresh fries as the ones they gave me were clearly old, and the lady says "uh okay go to the second window i guess" in a snarky ass little tone. i get to the window to be greeted with rudeness (again), get my correct drink and fries and leave. the lady handing my food to me rolled her eyes at me as she turned around after handing me the food. i get home and guess what? the fries they gave me were OLDER than the ones i had asked them to replace. overall a pretty ridiculous thing. almost every time i come here im greeted with nothing but rudeness and the food is nowhere anywhere near fresh. here's a little tip for the workers at this location who were definitely calling me a karen as i drove off, you deal with a LOT fewer "karen's" like me when you're actually half competent at your job and aren't ridiculously rude to customers when they just want reasonable wait times, their correct orders and at least somewhat fresh food. tldr: don't come here, the staff is rude for NO REASON (i was not rude during the interaction, just wanted what i paid for), they're never going to give you even somewhat fresh food, and it's not worth it to come here. read more

This place has horrible customer service!! I went through the drive thru and ordered an extra sandwich at the first window. I then was told at the 2nd window ill need to wait ahead in the reserved drive thru spots which was fine since I ordered and extra sandwich. My food was brought out by some young teenager, but they forgot all my sauce I ordered. The kicker is I immediately got out of my car and was about 10 feet behind her, and she didn't bother to ask what's wrong... Come on girl why and the hell would someone in the drive thru go inside walking with a bag full of food!! I then get up to their registers she standing there and proceeds to help a man and son standing ok line. Okay..... I then see 5 people standing there doing absolutely nothing. I then in a louder than normal voice asked if I could have some sauce. They all looked at me like they were zombie..... It took about anther 30 seconds to for these zombies to recognize me. There was only me, another man and his son in the store, and no one in the drive thru. At this point I wanted to throw my bag full of food to the back of their restaurant. I finally made it home, called up there to the manager to see if they could coach that girl and his staff. I was just to furious to talk in person.... I work for Door Dash and I visit this location at least once per shift, but typically at least 2-3 times as it's a busy area for delivery orders. I have visited several different days and dealt with several different staff members, and have received the same service every single time: poor and unprofessional. Due to COVID, all the bags that are provided are sealed with stickers, so I am unable to open the bag to check for all food items, sauces, etc. After I pick up each order, I always try to verify verbally with the employee/manager at the counter that all sauces, straws, napkins, etc are in the bag and I get my head chewed off every time. I'm most often told, "This is the only Door Dash order we have so that's what it is." It sometimes gets to the point where as I'm asking the employee a question about the order, they will walk away and pretend like they can't hear me. I'm honestly appalled at how poorly I'm spoken to every single time I visit. I worked at McDonald's myself for several years and I understand the strenuous nature of the job, especially during a pandemic, but if I were a customer being spoken to this way, I would never visit the location again. If you're any type of delivery driver, I would steer clear of these deliveries whenever possible. It's not even worth the money I earn to be treated like garbage the second I tell the employees I'm with Door Dash. read more

You're guaranteed an insanely long wait in the drive-thru. It's routinely 15-20 minutes. I think they're in a competition with the Wendy's nearby to see who is the slowest. For comparison, I can order take out from a regular restaurant for a few dollars more and get it a little quicker. There's also no cell service for AT&T customers in this small area, so the wait is even more painful. The food tastes worse and worse, the prices go up, and the service and wait get worse. There's hardly any reason to come here anymore. read more

The place was very busy tonight so you would assume the food would be fresh for the wait. Get home, a .05 mile drive and my supposedly made fresh quarter pounder was not only cold but definitely not fresh. It was like they just took it out of the holding tray fresh. To boot my large fry was a small fry. I let my wife take a bite to see if I was overreacting and the look on her face was that I was not. Went back to have one made fresh. I tried to be polite to the nice lady. She took it to her manager Devon who look at the sandwich. He came up to the counter and said that this is not just a bite. At that time the anger came out. I said no kidding I let my wife have a bite to see if I was over reacting. I said I would just like a "fresh" cooked sandwich as advertised and a large fry. He proceeded to take it back to the cook on the line and open the box for him. Not sure what was said but they both had a really good laugh and started shaking their heads. This McDonald's just reopened from being closed for construction. The new inside looks great but when we went their card machines were not working and so I had just enough cash to get my daughters meal. That is not the issue that I have. They only had us and another couple in there the entire time and all the employees did was chit chat at the register and talking and laughing so loud, we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. Besides that, every single table was dirty and so were their floors. This is the only McDonald's that is close and it makes me sad that they are not taking care of the place or their customers. read more

A great location but lacked a TV, but have fun tables which lit up and entertained the kids . The drink and ketchup station was a mess and the staff were not very engaging or quick to help. DO NOT order from the smart screen if you want a drink I went there today to order a large fry and a medium Dr. Pepper. I walked inside and waited over 20 minutes. I was ignored for 10 minutes before I reminded the cashier of my order. He then walked to the back of the kitchen and whispered to the cook. I followed his gaze only to discover that one of the cooks was scooping chicken nuggets with his bare hands. After finally being handed my fry, I was then ignored and never given my Dr. Pepper. I live down the street from this McDonalds and the level of disservice here is amazing. There is a sign out front that says they are open 24 hours a day. I've come through their drive through at various times usually between 3 am and 6 am and told that they are closed despite their "open 24 hours" sign. When they are open past midnight they tell me filet o'fish and mcribs are not on their midnight menu. Yes I know that mcribs are only available during certain times of the year and when I tried to order it, it was available but they would not serve it. I called McDonalds corporate hotline and complained several times but nothing has changed. The only time they would serve me a filet o'fish was when I would show them the email from corporate that explicitly states that the filet o'fish is on their midnight menu. Yes I love my filet o'fish this is no joke. read more

Every single time I am forced by my children to come to this McDonald's they ALWAYS mess up our order. We have yet to leave the drive thru without having to go back and get the rest of our order. Between the lack of simply double checking orders, the employees could care less how they speak or even show a semi professional attitude. This is probably the worst McDonald's around. I can have eggs, I come in I order my meal the exact same way every time. I ordered this way because I don't want one piece of ham on a couple pieces of bread and they call a sandwich for $1.29. I'd rather spend the extra money and get it on the egg McMuffin take the edge off and just have them substitute some ham for it... Like I do every time I come through. This time the woman at the store told me that it would be a better idea to do it the other way and practically didn't allow me to order it the way that I always do. As I pull up to the drive-through window I can hear her yelling and screaming and bitching about me and my order and how she should've been right and I was wrong to her coworkers.
