After waiting at another restaurant for over an hour for food that never came, we ran into this McDonald's to grab something quick before a show at the Grand. We were able to quickly place an order at the counter, and our food came out hot and fresh, and even with plenty of ketchup! (If you've ever received just three packets for your big fries, I know you understand how happy this made me.). Thanks, McDonald's, for coming through in a pinch when we were in hurry. Food is always wrong, cold or missing from order, the service is ok as long as they are in a good mood. As far as the setting the inside never seems very inviting and the drive-thru is usually rude even when they aren't busy. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service. Employee and manager was completely useless at helping me. I wanted to order my food and pay with cash. I was ignored by an employee so I asked the manager when I saw her if I could order my food. She said I had to use the kiosk. I said I am paying with cash, does the kiosk accept cash. She said no. I said okay, can I order on the regular register. She said no, you have to use the kiosk. I asked her how will I pay. She said "I Don't Know". I ended up just walking out. read more

It is hard to write a review when you just order fries and a coke. We ordered with our app and the ordering and speed of drive through was great. Our fries were hot but also my coke was hot. I always order my coke with no ice and my drink at other McDonalds is always cold. read more

Ordered a chicken sandwich and got a piece of meat and a bun only. No condiments at all. Went back to the counter and was told they only come with 2 pickles, really? no mayo or sauce or lettuce? so she gave me 2 pickles and a pack of mayo. Back at my table I discovered I had no napkins, so back to the counter, waiting my turn for a basic napkin. Apparently they aren't available to the paying customers any more. All the while the staff were yelling and griping at each other. I stopped in the restroom on the way out and found the toilet paper out of the canister, laying on top of a filthy trash can. The McDonalds in Lancaster, Kentucky is off my "go to" list of places. This particular McDonalds started down hill last year. They were closed for several weeks "upgrading" the store... but, that I could understand. However, following this time frame the place has gone from pleasant workers to grumpy ones that fuss and grumble without fail. I went one time to get breakfast and found, although the place was open... the inside was closed... the lines in the drive-through were so long they were out onto the main road! No breakfast. Today I went to get a sandwich and shake... I walked past a typed sign saying you had to order at the "kiosk". Although there were too many people to count working inside... I waited to order at the counter. Finally someone *looked* at me and I asked if they no longer take orders in person? "No." I asked if they would not be taking orders "in person". "No." I left and will no longer go back there... not through the drive through, or at a cottin' Kiosk. There... good job.. this is how you lose customers! No stars for your store. Absolutely disgusted!! We ordered 3 double quarter pounders. When we open the box they had grease and blood pouring out of them. My husband took them back to the counter, and the manager apologized , refunded us the money and told us they would cook us some more. She did have a discussion with the cook, and they cooked us 3 more, but they where also raw. We just got up and walked out. read more

The one in Lancaster is always messing up my food or drinks taste funny I would rather drive to Stanford or any where than go there

Just stopped at Lancaster McDonalds drive thru. Pulled up waited. Finally someone takes my order, right in the middle of placing my order she interrupts my asking if I want to make it a meal. Well my response was that I had said nothing about making it a meal. I really hate it when they interrupt you while you're telling them what you want. Her next response was that if I was going to be rude then she didn't have to take my order. So I left. I will never, I mean never stop at this place again. I don't care if they close the doors on this restaurant. When a customer is ordering, have the curtesy to allow them to finish their order. read more

Was very disapointed tonight when i went to my locl mcdonalds been go n there for several months now since we moved to this smll town in lancaster and only mcdonald close by next one is 15 to 20 min drive away...well this one usually gets my food right which we eat there alot and i mean alot which we have 5 children so like every other day we spend 20 dollars or more so like 200 to 250 a month just on food from there ...Well its might not sound like a big issue to most of u bt this really mad me mad we ordered 6 mc chickens and 4 of them had extra shred on them which they charged 30 cents xtra for each one not thay might not seem like a lot of money but add it up how many custemers order that well we get home i was curious so i open one to look to c what 30 cents get OMG i was furious it looked like i said lite shred but the little sticker they put on the packeg clearly said xtra shred so i looked at all the rest and even the 2 that did not have extra shred on them was the same as the others we paid the 30 cents for ...i usually get home and just hand out the kids food and not look at it but i was just curious this time so i ask them do they always look like this when u eat them and they replied yes ..so i started to add up more at 1 dollar 20 cents each visit and around 5 dollars out of 7 day wrk week thats 20 dollars a month 240 a year on 1 customer they are make n extra money on ..now lets say out of all the 100 and 100 of customers they get a day lets just say 10 order same as me with xtra shred and get charged that 30 cents thats b 2,400 dollars a year thay just set n back laugh n at us ...well enough said i will still eat at this restuarant but just will not order any thing xtra to any of the food i buy so i dont get ripped off in the long run there food service i have to give them is very fast in the drive thrue i mean fast we order like 10 burgers and the 6 to 10 mc chickens and fries and they do have it out the window quick only good thing about this place they got that togather ...well thanks for let n me rant ....... read more
