The waitress was so rude! She walked away from our table mid order and gave our table away to another waitress. She was nice but we could see the original waitress looking at our table and talking to another waitress, obviously talking about us. They wouldn't give us our receipt until after we paid and basically made us leave. Terrible service!! read more

Right before walking in, another customer came out and warned me that the workers were very overwhelmed. It was absolutely chaotic in here. Susan, a worker, was yelling at customers to move, and workers were yelling at her and at each other. She also dropped the f-bomb (with a child present) and touched all the food including tossing lettwith no gloves - which is never okay in food service!! The workers kept throwing their hands up at each other and were extremely frustrated. I felt very on edge here watching it all. We did come in close to closing, but the atmosphere was insane. One busy worker asked another worker who was doing nothing "can you do me a little favor?" and she said no. Some of the workers were wearing masks but most were under their noses. I have worked in busy fast food service before and know the chaos that comes before closing, however this is nothing I have ever experienced. One customer leaned over to me and said "how can this be such a mess with five whole workers?" and seemed as surprised as I was. They forgot to add the condiments I reminded them about multiple times, and as soon as I grabbed my bag from them it ripped and I caught the hot food and it burned me. Also, for vegetarians and vegans: the hash browns are cooked right next to meat, and as they flipped meat i could see it going everywhere, and they are cooked with the same utensils. I had an egg and hash brown bowl with no meat (specifically asked) and there was so much bacon in my bowl accidentally. read more

This Waffle House is killing it y'all. I will start this by letting you know I used to be a General Manager at one of the busiest Waffle Houses in Ohio. So I understand what crunch time in a Waffle House means. Well this Sunday morning crew today was killing it. They were nailing their "calls" (heck they were even going to their block!), the grill master was all over it, the puller had plates lined up all the way down the bar, and the waitresses were clearing tables for each other as soon as customers were getting up so that the customers waiting could sit down. A well oiled machine that any District Manager would be proud of. And yes the food was piping hot and delicious, but that's not why they get my 5 star. There is a reason behind the Waffle House way, and this crew had it down. This was the absolute best experience I had at Waffle House tonight! I ordered what I always get which is a Cheesesteak sandwich without onions. Well he accidentally put onions on it and i'm the pickiest eater ever. Our waitress Lauren (who is amazing btw) took it back and had it fixed for me. The food cooked by Zayn (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was really good. She fixed the check and gave us a discount since my sandwich was messed up but I told her there was no reason to change the prices because people make mistakes and I totally get it. I had a quick 30mins to get lunch before my scheduled client meeting, so I saw a Waffle House sign and drove towards it. It was around 11am, so brunch :) I got a buttermilk waffle with sausage patties and a cup of coffee. I will say, that for such a "dive" type of place, the coffee was actually decent. The sausage patties were ok. But the waffle..... that delicious, buttery, light waffle... made it a worthwhile stop. It came straight out of the waffle iron, onto my plate and served to me. With a dab of whipped butter and some syrup, it was so delicious! I noted that it's 24hrs.... wow, we need one in Chicago! Would make a fabulous 4am tipsy stop! :) read more

I am a fan of the Waffle House. How can you not be? I know it's not the classiest place, but for late night or early morning breakfast food, they do a solid job. With this being my 420th review, I have to admit that in my high school and college days we came here stoned in the middle of the night. This particular location is right off I-75 in Richmond Kentucky. I was in town for business and my hotel was nearby. I ate here, sober, for breakfast a couple times. They have a pretty sweet mobile website where you can read about the history, find a location, or join the Waffle House regulars club. The folks are nice however I came in this Morning around 6 am the day after Christmas and it seems like the waitress was very confused or like they were serving the seniors before me I mean it's fine and all but kinda made me feel awkward had to ask for A spoon fork and knife I don't know this waitress seemed very confused about her job nice waitress but it's like she was confused then the first waitress was too worried about going home wouldn't even ask what I wanted to drink at least she could've done was be courteous other than food is great read more

It's a busy Saturday morning and these ladies are working their butts of to serve the packed place. The place is clean, the employees seem well organized. Feels like an old country diner. It's not too noisy. There are old couples and a family of four. Seems like a nice place to have breakfast on a Saturday morning. read more

I was staying overnight for work and noticed that this Waffle House was within walking distance of my hotel. I decided to take a nap and go around 7:30. I walked in and I was the only customer. I got a friendly greeting from the waitress and I had my choice where to sit. I ordered scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties, and wheat toast. Of course since I was the only customer the service was fast and the food was delicious. The waitress and other two on staff were very friendly and they made me feel welcome. My family and I stopped here on our way to South Carolina. The food was very good and arrived hot and fast. The server Savannah was very nice and friendly. The parking lot hump though is a car bumper and underside killer if you are not very careful pulling in. You can even see the scrape marks on the pavement in the photo! I stop in quite often for the pecan waffles, they are sooo good! The food is hot and you get a good value to the money, however, the cleanliness of the restaurant is really not what it should be.
