The food isn't bad but, the issue is; like this mornin I go in and there's employees everywhere and yet again as usual I stand there for a long period of time and not a soul offered to take my order. Once every now and then I can see but it's every time I go in there. As of now, there's at least one they won't ever have to worry about waitin on again. read more

This used to be one of the best McDonald's around for several years. Not today! Fries were cold and chewy and stale, drink cups were not provided without asking, buns were soggy, and one of the burger patties was even folded in half on the bun. Cheese was not melted either totally disappointing experience. Won't be back for a long time. read more

I again give 5 stars to THIS McDonald's because the staff is always friendly, my food is always hot and fresh, and also because they have never messed up my order & if there are issues such as products not being available due to me using curbside 90% of the time. This is by far my favorite McDonald's, although I only stop at this one once a month on my trip to Elizabethtown to see all of my specialists (Doctor's), which I have been doing for that past two years. They will ago above & beyond to make the replacement extremely worth it (as in more than they should) which always overrides the let down & frustrations of not getting what I may have actually wanted. All the other McDonald's I've been to have always messed something up that was ordered one way or another. I also came to add that every morning that I am there, I notice an employee always outside sweeping up the litter from all the rude people that do the littering & that employee is there everytime tidying up the parking lot, which to me shows that attention to the detail and cleanliness is of importance to that store's management / supervisors / owners (I'd franchise owned). I have also been inside a couple of times, and the store is always clean and neat. That also speaks volumes on top of my always pleasant experiences there. read more

If I can give it 0 stars I would, the service was horrible. The workers were rude. There were four people standing there, not doing anything or taking anybody's orders, and my fries were cold and stale!! Not to mention there are people in there without hairnets that's unsanitary!!! I ordered a McRib because I have not had one this year and I was too hungry to wait until I got home in Paducah. So sad that the sandwich as a whole was not up to McDonalds standards of excellence. The bun was stale and old, the Rib meat was not delicious and hot and there was a lack of bbq sauce on the sandwich like they were trying to save money. The fries were cold when delivered to me. I'm hoping for a better experience if I ever stop here again. read more

This exit is one of the last for a while if you're heading toward Paducah, so stop and gas up and grab a snack. But don't expect much from this McDonald's. I stopped for lunch. It was PACKED ! I waited about 5 minutes in line to order, then waited another 10 mins to get my sandwich. The coke from the dispenser was flat and there was barely any ice available so I didn't dump my coke and try for another drink. I accepted the flat coke. Let's face it, Coke is the best thing McDonald's has to offer but coke here is poor. Bummer. Maybe consider getting soft drink from a nearby gas station. My quarter pounder was decent. They omitted pickles at my request (thanks!) but seem to have felt obliged to replace them with an extra fistful of onions. Yuck. The fries were hot and crisp-- which was a nice surprise. I find that more often than not the fries are soft and greasy at most other McDonald's locations so in at least this regard they have succeeded. read more

I wanted to give 4 stars because I appreciated the food was hot. But I asked for a chicken sandwich lettuce wrapped - no bread - because I'm allergic to bread. Got the food went on my way and when I opened the bag I got chicken in a tortilla- isn't that bread?? I picked the chicken out so okay but what was really upsetting is not a single napkin in the bag. Stop here at this McDonalds on way to Western Kentucky. It was a nice break since there is not many places to stop between Elizabethtown Kentucky and Leitchfield Kentucky. This McDonalds had a clean restroom but one stall was out of order. I ordered a sausage biscuit to go. The order came really fast and I took it to go in car, so no complaints! The biscuit tasted like any other sausage biscuit from McDonalds. read more

For being a McDonald's in a small town nowhere, I was surprised at how nice this place was... It has all the standard Mickey D's affair. The regional flavor of the Diet Coke is disgustingly sweet, but aside from that, it's fine. The inside was actually decorated fairly well. There were people working in there, old guys sitting around shooting the breeze, teenagers cutting school, and comfortable seats. If I lived in this town, I'd hang out here. This is one of my least favorite places to go to, and my last choice. The burgers are always smashed by whoever makes them, every time. I know working there may probably suck but they really don't need to take it out on my burger. I have lost count of the amount of messed up burgers they gave me. I don't even want to give a "one star" but ..... This McDonalds is usually my "go to" before work or class during the week . Today , My order was wrong yet again. I do not eat pork and specifically ordered a McChicken biscuit. I even confirmed at the window that the order was a McChicken biscuit add cheese , when I received my food , I got a Sausage, extra bacon, biscuit .... really ?!? No chicken or cheese at all! Yesterday , I ordered a hot mocha & a hashbrown , I got a cup of hot milk and a cold hashbrown . I was unable to fix the order at the time due to me already rushing for work . I called and was later able to get my hot mocha . Not only that but a few days ago , I had to wait to the side for 30 min to get my food , only for the order to be completely wrong ! Extremely disappointed how POOR the service is here. I went to drive thru and got iced coffee. The lady handed me the cup dripping off the outside so I asked for napkins to wipe it as she apparently was too stupid to take it back to wipe it off. I said u could clean the cup off before handing to customer then she said have good day and closed the window. One of the stupidest ppl I have ever met. Pathetic customer service. I have been to many Mcdonald's across the state and this is the best by far. Every time you dine in you can expect a clean nice place to sit. The service is always great and the orders are always correct. If they do mess up an order you can expect an apology and for your order to be fixed immediately. I love the amazing set up they have going on as well. You can watch tv and use the internet which works great for me since I own a home based business! read more

Not many places to eat in Leitchfield that are really acceptable as far as being clean and up to date. This McDonalds will surprise you as it appears to have been recently remodeled. The service was slow and the counter help mostly untrained, but that we expect in these small towns. They will give you a giant number on your receipt, guess there is a problem with seeing by someone, and then yell the number out when they finally get the order ready.The place was clean and there was a girl sweeping the floors and cleaning the tables. There are two drive thrus on the back side. Prices and food are typical of any McDonalds. Just a short distance off the turnpike. read more

This has become a joke of a restaurant...the coffee was my favorite until they started letting it simmer till it was all sold before making another pot, if you drink coffee you can imagine how strong and awful it is...and then they raised the price of coffee...yeah, not getting it there anymore...drive thru, the worst. I sat in the right lane and they continued to take orders in the left lane, so I said to the speaker "excuse me" and I was told to "hold on." I would love to say this happened only once but noooooooo...wrong food in bag is way too common...slow slow slow...there are too many restaurants in town for this one to be this bad and get by with it. I wasn't going to complain, but I work hard for my money and I'm tired of getting bad service and unless people voice their opinions, it will not change. I'm a former employee and I'm not trying to bash McDonald's or anything, but it's sad that they treated me this way so I quit. The general manager called me a failure and told another girl that she couldn't support her kid. The managers would yell and dog us and not tell us good job or encourage us for anything. I've worked behind the scenes and I've seen workers not wash there hands, old frys and hashbrowns being served, I've seen people touch food with bare hands, drop things and serve them. It's gross and down right disgusting. Another thing is the sewerage was backed up and they didn't call cause it would shut down the store??? Really are they that greedy. Half of the people that live here have orders wrong. I got so many complaints working there from customers. The managers printed off receipts so the crew could fill them out to leave good voice comments just so they'd get high rates but that isn't right. It's cheating the system.
