This is an awesome place to grab a coffee and Danish to chill for a while. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Both indoor and outdoor seating. The cats in the outdoor seating area will keep you safe :)

Amazing, beautiful coffee shop filling a much needed niche in Cave City, Kentucky. Tasty, fresh food. Cute shop that sells southern gear and books. Strong WiFi. Kind, helpful staff. A must stop.

Stopped by after church today, great muffin and treat coffee for the wife and me.. We always enjoy the eclectic feel. Long line quick service. As for the decor always fun. Hours, guys, you should stay open until 9 pm.

It is so freaking good I'm sad I don't live closer. It's smack in the middle of a frequent long drive we make. I meannnnnn what can I say everything is so delicious. I don't give a rat's ass about bagels but holy crap... my husband got a bagel from Ace once and it was like... the best thing I've ever tasted. Garlicky goodness. The latte I had with the cinnamon and sweetened condensed milk was insanely unreal and I fell in love with it. Everything baked up in the case looks to die for. Love ya. Can't wait to come back!

A favorite new stop! Great coffees-great food-great ambiance-great service. I find myself watching the clock for them to open so I can try something new. This is something special! Don't pass it by.

Ambiance was wonderful. The coffee was served up quick and the cold brew tasted very good. Will be back!

This place caught our eye as we were across the street eating pizza on our road trip. We got to meet the owner and her boyfriend. Her boyfriend happened to have a tv show on History Channel. This place is awesome and I think it's going to be a great success! We tried some of the fresh deserts and a cup of coffee and both were excellent! The vibe of the owner transcends the business which makes it chill, friendly, and awesome! Well worth the short drive off of the interstate!

Stop in and check this place out! The coffee and breakfast were great but it appears they also serve lunch and beer later in the day. The staff were all very friendly and the space was eclectic with so much to catch your interest. Around to see the caves then stop before or after and see one of the gems in this little town.

We took a drive over to Ace Coffee after hearing a lot of buzz about it from others. Expectations were high, and it exceeded them! They were pretty busy, and the staff was hard at work, yet they took the time to greet us with a cheerful smile -- and they seemed genuinely happy! I love that! Customers were enjoying the space: three friends sipping coffee and sharing laughs; a businessman working on his laptop; a couple enjoying the afternoon sunshine and iced coffees outside; a young woman relaxing on a sofa with a book and a glass of wine. Here's what we experienced . . . The coffee: fantastic. The sweets: delicious. The atmosphere: cozy, comfy, and warm. The outdoor area: a quaint green space with string lights, seating, and even a stage for live music. Bonuses: dog friendly. We had such a nice experience that we decided to stick around Cave City to check out a few shops and have dinner at a local restaurant. Highly recommend this place!

It smelled great and the food we seen delivered to other tables also looked great. We got a sample platter with ribs and brisket. The ribs were over cooked and chewy and the brisket was a lot of fat. The sides were just ok. Maybe it was just an off day for them because I see a lot of great reviews. We stopped in later in the evening so that may be the reason the meats were off. Again, not thrilled with our meal here, but may give them another chance earlier in the day.

My son and I both wanted to try the brisket so he got the platter and I chose the sandwich. I was told they make most of the sides that aren't fried options such as tater tots, which I was happy about. They had the classic barbecue sauce on the table as well as a spicy option. Both were equally delicious. My sandwich came on Texas toast, which is a fave. The portions were a great value as they do not skimp! The fried potatoes are made in house and they were delicious. Even though they don't make the onion rings in house they were also quite good. My one disappointment was, they don't make the majority of their desserts. And the menu states that their daughter-in-law Kayle makes different desserts daily and they didn't have that. They were actually out of several desserts, which was disappointing. Since the only ones they had were not ones made in house I chose to not get one. Since we live 3 1/2 hours away I guess I'll have to give it another shot for the dessert option next time around. Overall, the place was terrific and the folks were friendly. They have a salad bar in the middle of the floor, which is a nice touch. They have a very laid-back atmosphere and it is definitely family friendly. And you definitely get good size portions for the money.

Today we had the best Cracker Barrel experience ever at the Cave City, KY location…read more Quick backstory: today was the big ice/snow storm sweeping across the U.S. Our family was vacationing in Florida when our flights were canceled, and the airline offered zero real help. So we made the tough call to drive from Florida to Chicago -- a 16-hour journey. As we headed north, the weather kept getting worse. After about 8 hours, we decided to stop and rest, hoping the roads would improve the next day. They didn't. Instead, we were met with glistening ice-covered forests and roads that looked like they were made for ice skating. Nearly everything was closed -- McDonald's, restaurants, even gas stations (thank goodness for Buc-ee's). Then, like a miracle, we found Cracker Barrel open for business. From the moment we walked in, the hostesses greeted us with warm smiles and seated us by the fireplace. Every single person we interacted with showed true Southern hospitality and genuine kindness. It felt less like stopping at a restaurant and more like being welcomed in from the storm. The food was exactly what you'd expect -- consistently amazing -- but the service is what truly stood out. In the middle of a stressful, exhausting journey, this place gave us comfort, warmth, and a much-needed sense of care. If you're ever near this location, expect great food -- but more importantly, know that you'll be in very good hands. Sincerely, Your friends from Chicago!

Nice to know that there are still nice folks in this world.

Let's start with the expected: chicken fried chicken was amazing. The loaded fry appetizer also amazing. Sides were great. Mac and cheese and green beans both well above average to me. The waitresses were all so helpful and sweet. But let's talk about the other amazing part. This place feels right out of a post apocalyptic movie! If you've ever wanted to feel "out of this world" or in a community fenced off from the zombie apocalypse and struggling to make you feel some normalcy in your life... THIS IS THE PLACE. My goodness I loved it. An old couple in the corner was playing some Garth Brooks covers to set the mood. A "straight from the 80s arcade room" in the back had some flashing lights shine through the doorway into the main dining room. Also... this place was packed. The dusty parking lot did not have a single spot for us open and we had to wait on a parking spot. No wait when we got inside luckily. But back to the post apocalyptic vibe... I really can't explain it much better. The 80s arcade... the wood paneling on the walls. The old toy heavy machinery and trains lining the walls. The smell of the food thickening the air. Even the staff... all unique as can be!!! Don't forget the overstock Christmas plates they pulled out for us to use!!! Highly recommend this place for the food... but if you've ever wanted to experience what a restaurant would be like after the zombies take over... Give yourself a treat and come here!!!
