I feel bad for the people that work here. This store is always mobbed and there never seems to be enough people working no matter what time of the day....I see that the workers here are trying as hard as they can but they can't seem to catch a break...people keep on coming..... The store itself isn't dirty but it's definitely older and could use a good face lift. This is the worst establishment ever. Avoid at all cost. I would rather drive 6-10 extra miles to go to a different McDonald's. My husband is the one who insists on going to this location. Their staff is always bickering at each other, they are RUDE, AGGRESSIVE, CONFRONTATIONAL. they will not own up to their mistakes. Today my husband went and ordered a double filet o fish meal. Different McDonald's ring it up different ways, point is, I got a single filet o fish. He asked for one cheeseburger only ketchup happy meal and one hamburger only ketchup happy meal. Just left the drive thru and the staff was EXTREMELY AGRESSIVE. We ordered 4 breakfast meals and only got 3 drinks, when we politely asked for the forth drink the window cashier and what appeared to be a manager or supervisor came to the window arguing and raising their voice for no reason with an extremely aggressive behavior. If I could give this location 0 stars, I would. I had to repeat my order multiple times. I get to the window to pay and my order was wrong. I told the guy working the window I wanted quarter pounders, not Big Macs. A lady working there responded with "you said Big Macs". They would not change the order. Just kept looking at me in silence. I honestly couldn't believe the lady wanted to argue over what burgers I wanted/ordered. I should not have paid for what I didn't order because the Dr. Peppers were all soda water and very little syrup. Fries were old and cold and the burgers I did not order were cold and dry. I spent $27 and was very disappointed. I ended up throwing the food out. Worst service I have had in a fast food establishment. I did not expect a 5 star restaurant quality service, so my expectations were low. But they managed to go below my expectations. First of all the attitude of the workers, I almost feel like they are angry with something. I do not want to order from a person who is angry. Also they should have health inspection scores out on display, but they do not. Restroom is a mess. Obviously they do not clean the facility that well.. So I do not expect the kitchen to be any cleaner. Also coffee+espresso shot= 1.95 just the espresso shot is 2.25??? Every other location I have been to was dollar per shot. When we got the food the fry was not in the bag. I let the mexican woman (also the manager) at the window know that the fry was not in the bag, she got and attitude and told me that I needed to come in the store if I wanted the fries. By far the worst fast food experience of my life! 40 minute waits in the drive-thru, employees that couldn't care any less, with unbelievably rude communication. After a 40 minute wait in the drive-thru. I finally get to the window. I didn't say anything to her initially about the wait as it was late at night, 11:30pm, and not a full staff, so I was being sympathetic. After a few mins, attendant hands me my bag with food. I asked her for my drink and she replies in the worst tone and body language and says, "I GAVE YOU YO DRANK!" Immediately, I felt disrespected as a customer. I looked at her and said, if you gave it to me, where is it in my car, pointing to my one cup holder. She ignored my question and began to fill up my drink. I asked her again, this time louder, and she still ignored the question. While she is finally handing me my drink without any apology, I then asked, why does it take 40 minutes to put 4 cars thru the drive-thru. Her response, "You didn't have to come here". Upset by the the comment, I immediately asked to speak to the manager. Her response to that, ..."NO". ...and shuts the drive-thru window. I'm glad I didn't complain until I received my bag of food. Ladies and gentleman, this is McDonalds on Lawrenceville Hwy in Lilburn. Good thing there are plenty of other fast food options in the area. I'll take my business elsewhere. Also, I don't buy the "well this is the fast food industry". I would answer with, go thru a Chick-Fil-A drive-thru, ...anywhere. So it is what it is! The playland area is probably hazardous if you have toddlers lots of peeling paint tile falling off the walls or missing all together. The playland itself is high but fairly small compared to newer designs of course the kids could care less they still love it! If you dont have a need for the playland this place has a very clean lobby and accurate service compared to most others!
