Customer service was horrible! I had to BEG for help and as I continued to, "hello, excuse me, hello, excuse me, HELLO" directly to staff, they all looked and continued on. No greeting upon entrance. We have come here many times and each time it is very consistent and very tasty! I love the sesame mochi donut- I love the chewy texture, though it is best eaten the same day (otherwise it gets hard). The cheese danish was a tad on the dry side and the lamination wasn't great. Mochi donut was solid. I always like the custard cream and sweet cream filled breads. The chocolate bear was okay- absolutely adorable, though not the tastiest. I think I would rather get one of their cakes. The pat bingsu whichw as very good. The perfect dessert for a hot summer day. The shaved ice was sweet and fluffy. I didn't think it needed the additional sweet cream they gave us on the side. It paired perfectly with the icecream, soybean powder, and mochi. I am not the biggest fan of sweetened red bean, but overall, very good pat bingsu. I would highly recommend Hansel and Gretel and will continue to be a regular. There wasn't a hint of heat in it. I think what would have helped was if it was crispy or warm. There were a good amount of options to pick from even though I came late in the day. This place is Amazing and delicious!! As a visitor I was looking for a good coffee bar with something sweet to enjoy and I came across this place, walking in it's such a clean environment,relaxing and welcoming. As far as the pastries go, scale from 1-10 they're a SOLID 10 fresh (I noticed them restocking) while I was in there and already packaged to take home. I googled tiramisu and it brought me here. I walked around looking for a moment, I asked an employee what her favorite thing was and she said she hadn't eaten there. I got a blueberry macaroon, strawberry cream puff, tiramisu and a lemon jelly thing. The macaroon was well made but didn't taste like blueberry. The strawberry cream puffs were the best thing I got, the pastry was light, the cream perfectly sweet and the strawberry's fresh. The tiramisu was tiny for the price and was not what I consider tiramisu as there was no espresso or cocoa flavor whatsoever. The lemon thing was aesthetically pleasing but I'd be remiss to say it was good, it was just a pretty lemon thing on top of a graham crust, it did not adhere to the crust but was more of a vessel to deal with. My family wanted something sweet (and well-made) and a cup of coffee after a late dinner and ended up here. I'm so glad we did. The cake slices we got were very reasonably priced, and not overwhelmingly sweet. They don't serve drip coffee after a certain time, but the replacement latte was very rich. We sat and indulged in the cafe. It was buzzing even at 12AM and near closing. But hey, that just speaks to this place's well-deserved popularity. We will for sure be back. read more

my boyfriend bought a chicken harvest sandwich and the label did not state it contained any nuts as he has a tree nut allergy. We looked at other labels to see if the cafe indicated when something contains nuts and they do have a symbol for it. he took a bite and found that it did in fact contain nuts and asked the cashier. she said yes it does contain nuts. she looked at the incorrect label and then refunded the sandwich. We had to leave immediately. I think it's reprehensible that it was mislabeled and could have caused a bigger issue if he did not realize right away. we normally love this cafe so this just left a sour taste to us. Great cafe with delicious pastries and baked goods. After visiting I decided to get a cake to bring back to Florida and had to get the tiramisu cake to share with my co-workers. The cake had a slight coffee flavor, delicious layer of cream and a moist layer of cake. If you love the taste of slightly sweet cheesecake and coffee I definitely recommend this cake! If you've never been to an asian bakery it can be a bit overwhelming! There are so many options to choose from and all varieties of sweetness. I saw they had a cute sleeping bear pastry on their instagram so I of course had to go check it out. We also got some cream cheese cupcakes and a oreo cake slice. It was our first time visiting so we wanted to get a couple things to split. The bear was very different than we expected. It was almost like a gelatin with some harder jelly inside, and the cupcakes seemed like the cream cheese was mixed in the cake vs being stuffed with cream cheese, and the oreo cake was very light, airy and delightful. I have driven by this place so often but finally went in today. So many different bakery items and in the case has some cute baked goods. I did not try any of their drinks this time. Wide open spaces inside with tables outside. Prices are a little pricier than some of the other bakeries close by, but they have many options here. I was told by a local that this cafe has a wide assortment of Korean pastries, so I stopped by this afternoon. I ordered the honeycomb latte and mango yogurt, and bought a few Korean pastries. They didn't really have a variety of traditional Korean bread and pastries, but had a lot of desserts. I ordered the honeycomb latte half sweet, but it was still very overwhelmingly sweet so I can't imagine what the regular sweetness tastes like. When I asked the barista if it was made half sweet as requested, she said she had added more milk to it, which didn't make sense. The ice also melted really quickly, and the latte just tasted like sugar water. There wasn't really any espresso flavor either, which was quite disappointing. The mango yogurt was also extremely sweet, like it was doused in mango syrup. Interior is quite spacious with moody lighting. Overall, not bad, would be willing to come again but may need to ask for way less sweet! read more

I understand that this place can get pretty crowded, but this time, they completely forgot my drink and I waited 20+ minutes. I ended up going up to the counter to ask if it was done yet and they seem to have put the ticket in the "completed" pile. When I explained further, the staff was quiet and just went to go make it without an explanation or apology. I was then handed a drink without any comments from the staff. I come here to study and buy a tea every once in a while. There are lots of seating options and options for quick bites that you can buy at the counter. There is a bit of loud music in the background but it can be quickly managed with earphones. I also got my birthday cake here because their selection of cakes was incredible. They have cakes of different flavors and sizes that all looked amazing. I got a small simple cream cake with a variety of small fruit bits on top. The vibe was very modern and clean it was so cute inside. We went for the red bean fish shaped croffle but got a few pastries in addition for the following days. The croffles blew us away and the mochi donuts were probably my favorite from the days following. The little mochi balls are so chewy and fun. We also got a dalgona latte which seemed like it would be too sweet but it was the perfect. The girl at the counter was also so sweet as we were a bit of a mess.
