literally the best mcdonald's i've ever been to. service? fast and exceptional. good? hot and fresh everytime. atmosphere (tbh a dumb metric bc that's entirely dependent on the clientele)? quaint. cleanliness? legitimately the cleanest mcdonald's. like ever. you're gonna get your order, and they're going to make sure it's going to be correct. been here multiple times on the way to and from the beach, and it's always a staple for the trip. extremely recommend!!! read more

My food took 25 mins and they forgot our drinks!! This is embarrassing. No order in the kitchen at all and the guy bringing out the food was slow and couldn't multitask. We had a small order it should not take almost half an hour. Shame. read more

This is the most phenomenal McDonalds I have ever been to. The service, specifically by Trena, was above and beyond. She checked on us while we dined multiple times and asked if we needed water or any other help. She created a welcoming ambiance and the food was also fabulous! It was extremely clean inside- I rarely write reviews and this was necessary. All other McDonalds establishments should take notes. read more

This McDonald's is updated with kiosks to streamline the ordering process, so you don't have to go to a register. Unfortunately, it doesn't help them get their orders more right. When asking specifically for no onions, they still were plentiful. Everything else was standard McDonald's, which admittedly is not very good. read more

Ordered a decaf coffee and paid at the window. At the next window they said we don't have any decaf. I said I I can't have caffeine so just cancel it and refund my money. They said just pull over to spot number 1 and we will make some. I've been waiting for 25 minutes and nothing. read more

10 am breakfast stop. Parking lot 3/4 full. Maybe if they didn't give all of their employees smoke breaks at the same time their service would be better. Maybe there would be soap, paper towels, or even toilet paper in the bathroom. A girl can dream. After a longer than normal wait- The food was hot and fresh. The cashier was polite. So if you want standard hot McDonalds food- they had that- but plan a long wait with at minimum 3 employees scattered throughout the parking lot smoking and hanging out in groups with friends. Don't attempt to use the bathroom!!! Maybe before everyone goes on break someone should check the restrooms. read more

Awful awful McDonald's. If your trying to stop for food don't go to this place. Waited 15 minutes for a filet-o-fish. There seemed to be only one girl actually working hard. Everyone else was just walking and fooling around in the back ... just wanted some food for the road. Cashier was super rude acted like she didn't care. Nicely remodeled. Seemed pretty clean. Just passing through but we dined in to get out of the for a bit. Ladies room had hand driers that actually dry your hands but neither of them were working in the men's room. Small area for getting drinks and napkins. Had no cups for ketchup. Slow slow service. People were not friendly. My biggest complaint was girl working counter couldn't keep her hands off her hair. She stood there flipping it around anytime there wasn't a customer to wait on. But she was the friendliest person we encountered there - the ONLY worker who smiled the entire time we were there. read more

Raining hard.... tropical storm....and they have the handicap door locked. We got soaked coming in user the over hang pouring water. Poor management! No tissue in the women's bathroom either. They could do better. read more

This appears to be a typical McDonald's. I did appreciate seeing employees cleaning tables and restrooms while we were there. But, my Southwest salad was just terrible. The fried chicken was so dark I honestly thought it was pieces of fried hamburger at first. My husband got the same salad with grilled chicken which he described as tasting like it had been ran over a couple of times in the parking lot. The lettuce and greens were fairly fresh, but the chips were stale and/or slightly soggy. But the kids enjoyed their Happy Meals, so I guess the meal wasn't a total loss. read more

Cashiers were rude, place was small and cramped, very chaotic with only a few customers. Food was decent, basic McDonalds fare, and the restaurant itself was passably clean. Overall, if you must eat here I recommend using the drive-thru. read more

The people working here couldn't be any stupider. If you go through the drive-thru (I wouldn't recommend it), stay on the inside lane because they almost always forget there is an outside lane. I watched SIX cars (that got in line after me) go through the inside lane while I was waiting on the outside lane. I sat in the drivethru for TWENTY FIVE minutes. This is the worst experience I've ever had here but it isn't the first time that this has happened. Stay away! The best part is that almost every worker here has an attitude and they have had one for as long as I've been coming here. Save yourself the trouble and drive the twenty minutes to the Troy location--it's a college town and the workers there tend to be students that are at least capable of counting. UPDATE: I finally got my food and the two things I ordered were both wrong. This place is trash. read more

1.5 stars for being a convenient pit stop for those passing through. Don't expect 5-star amenities. A few light bulbs were out in the ladies restroom, along w a non-functional paper-towel dispenser. One sink. Functional liquid soap dispenser yet falling apart. Three stalls. Floor was wet obviously from other patrons also patiently waiting to use the hand dryer. Overall cleanliness of the ladies restroom was not up to par here. Can't comment on the food, just the tinkle room - the only reason why we stopped off here. ;P read more

If you are driving to the panhandle from TN, and taking 331, you will probably get hungry about the time you roll into Luverne. Unfortunate as it is, you've been fighting traffic for an hour or so and if you're a guy, you don't want to "lose your place" in traffic by pulling off. I get it. BUT, you will inevitably have to as the kids get hungry or the wife gets hungry. And you know what they say--Happy Wife, Happy Life. Inversely, Hungry Wife, Hell on Earth. Kidding dear, but not really. So we ended up at this McDonald's. I don't normally pick this place, and yes I'm quite familiar with it as millions and millions have been served here. Hell, I worked at a McDonald's as a teen. Probably why I have a love hate relationship with the place. I read the reviews. Not good. Most of us that write on Yelp! know what we can basically expect from these fast food places. We expect basic. I'm looking for clean bathrooms and accurate orders. Hoping that the food will be fresh is close second. The place was packed! Everyone else had the same idea we did for lunch. I counted 8 different states' license plates in the parking lot. Everyone was headed south for vacation. We ordered and they handed me a number. Surprisingly, the number was called in less than 10 minutes. I was very happy that they were busy, because that means fresh food!! The order was correct and the food was hot. Boom. Win. Now, as for the cleanliness everyone is upset about. I observed at least one worker cleaning the restaurant the entire time I was there (about 25 min). If they didn't have someone cleaning the whole time, this place would be a disaster. It wasn't like food was on the floor or on tables, it was just wrappers and what not. The bathroom was reasonably clean for the amount of foot traffic as well. My only gripe was that when I went to the Coke fountain, of all the flavors, I figured I would be able to draw out some sweet Dixie Champagne. Coca Cola, Sethery. But, no. The fountain spewed carbonated water at me. Only for a second, as I immediately let the cup off of the lever. I don't ever ask for the flavor to be replaced as it usually takes them a while to get it changed over. By that time, I'm out! I got to make up some road time (guys you get what I mean). I probably won't be at this location for a long time, but only because of the location. It's ok for a Mickey D's. It could be a lot better, but it wasn't horrible. read more

I cant give more than that i worked there and know what gose on it dose get a bit frustrating at times for the cosumers due to short staffing but my problem is the management there. They cant run a store right if them there self dont do right its not just the crew there they only do what mangment allows read more

We have stopped at the McDonald's several times on our travels. It always seems dirty and disorganized.

The dining room was a mess and they were out of ketchup containers and straws. The girl who was suppose to be cleaning the dining room mostly stood around and talked and then has the gaul to yell to the kitchen who was very busy that the female bathroom needed attention. When someone asked about the straws she said "oh it may be empty "Then went and fixed some food for a friend and brought it out and sat down a second to talk Again!' The only good thing is that they got you somewhat through quick, but when we were trying to find a table, it was hard finding one without any flies. All we wanted was to sit by the sun. I wish we had gone down further down the road. read more

Driving through from Florida, we stopped here and found the place clean and employees eager for our business. We were greeted promptly and got our food quickly and correctly. They were very busy but even the restrooms were clean. They look like they had recently been remodeled. They were much better than the Hardee's next door that we had stopped at a week prior. read more

Absolutely terrible. Keep driving! The girl that took our order was very rude and extremely slow. She ignored customers at the counter requesting a spoon and another a kid for a drink. The food we received was cold and had obviously been sitting for a while. We had the southern chicken sandwiches, fish sandwich and a double quarter pounder. They got the order wrong by putting cheese on the fish. We will not be going back for a while. Hopefully new staff or management will be there by then. read more
