VERY FRUSTRATED ON MY LUNCH BREAK TODAY! My daughter and I used the mobile app to order lunch today. I ordered a double fish fillet, no tartar sauce and extra pickles, with a med. fry and a sweet tea. My daughter ordered the double quarter meal. MY ticket # was 1245. I spent $19.01. When she got back to work with our food, I DID NOT GET my DOUBLE FISH FILLET. I got a single one. Then you try to call them at 601 939-0161, to get the order fixed and it seems they have the phone unplugged and not taking calls. So you tell me, what can we do????? What can I say. I had high expectations since I absolutely love fresh warm fries from McDonald's. My husband and I both got cheeseburgers. These were actually stone cold and the bun was not soft but hard. I took it back and asked for two fresh ones, and after several eye rolls from the kitchen people, they microwaved it and handed it back. Not much else to say there. Service terrible they don't have a front counter anymore. Eight people gathered around, but no one would come to the front counter when I was there. Took about five minutes to order, although I was the only one at the counter. It said 7.49 on the menu or my breakfast meal and I was charged $10. it looks like they designed it where they don't want you to even come. I asked for catchup, and she dropped most of it on the ground and walked away. Please or thank you. I was not even acknowledged that I was there hardly. Looks like poor training. I will not be back. I'm not giving the 4 stars for the food. McDonalds food is McDonalds food. The food is most definitely not worthy of 4 stars. I am giving the 4 stars because of the customer service, atmosphere, and level of cleanliness. The is definitely better than your average McDonalds. Customer Service - Above excellent. The employees here are smiling and friendly. Cleanliness - Above Excellent. Tables, counters, fountain drink area, condiment area... all kept wiped down and clean. Floors clean. Restrooms clean. Atmosphere - They remodeled a couple of years ago and it was a really cool remodel. They have some kind of art deco/contemporary thing going on. I like it. Drive-Thru - Fast and courteous. The line gets really long at this drive-thru, but they somehow manage to keep it moving quickly. They always hand me my food with a smile, thank me, and wish me a good day. My order has never once been incorrect. This McDonalds is right off I-20, so it's very easy to hop off and on. Good job, McDonalds of Pearl. Too bad they can't all be like you! read more

This is third and LAST TIME I will be eating here. Unless management changes the work atmosphere to get employees to work faster. My son and I were in the drive thru line for 39 minutes before we got our 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks. The guy at the window said we have beem swamped. Went to this location and tried to order a 10 pc McNugget and $2 worth of Big Mac sauce. Now the guy said he was the manager and that big msc sauce was now $1.19 per serving and the regular dipping sauces were $.30 per serving and he could no longer ring up the Big Mac sauce.....IF a manager of a store does not know HOW to ring up 4 regular sauces for a serving of Big Mac sauce nor could COMPREHEND how this is done he does not need to be a manager. I made my first and last visit to this McDonald's in Pearl MS. The person who took my order tonight was grumpy and mumbled. The manager looking woman was complaining out loud about having to be at work tomorrow morning. I ordered a Big Mac and fries. Both tasted like they were cooked hours before AND both, of course, were ice cold by the time I got to my car and ate them. Truly a combination of poor customer service, cold and dry food, and the restaurant needed its floors to be cleaned. Filthy with food and trash. Never going back and will advise my friends and family about this poorly run and managed location. Save your money and go elsewhere! Someone who's owns this franchise needs to go in there and supervise once in a while. read more

McDonalds Pearl has the rudest servers. I was there at 545am, theres a sign posted with " open 24 hours, so I assumed they were open. I sat at the drive thru for 5 minutes, with no response, before seeing a young man exiting the back door. When asked was the restaurant open, he responded, "yea we open, she up in there". I pulled to the window where I saw a young lately walking through quickly. The wonderful ladies working the drive-through on Sunday March 6th. Are angels sent from heaven! I forgot my wallet at my house and they let me hand them my phone to use my Apple Pay. For some reason my Apple Pay wasn't working and they were so patient and tried everything to make it work. I finally looked around my car and found my wallet with my card. I'm very thankful for the ladies and all the time they wasted trying to help me. read more

My husband and I dropped in around 7:30 pm for a quick dinner. The place seemed dirty and dingy, but we like Quarter Pounders so we ordered. When my husband went to pick up our meal, the fries were stacked against each other so that when he got the tray, one order tumbled to the floor. No less than three employees stood there and watched him clean up the mess and nobody even offered to replace the fries. Don't bother eating here. Most everyone knows what Mickey D's serves on the menu, so it basically boils down to service! There are a lot of McDonald's restaurants in the Jackson metro area, however - out of all the "My Joy" chains - by far this one is the best! The staff is decent 90% of the time, the managers are manerable and understand customer service. This is a model McDonalds restaurant, it is a dang shame the rest of the Mickey D's in the area do not follow their lead. If you have a taste for McDonalds and traveling through the Jackson area, this is the location I would highly recommend! read more

This is definitely the worst costumer service I've gotten this year. AvVOID AT ALL COST! I've been to this McDonald's 3 times within this week and every time it's been the same female working. Never smiles with a terrible attitude, and very little training because she's always messing up the orders. Well today i got the chance to see what the real problem is. She's stealing money from the drive-thru. The first two times I've been the amount for my order was $3.99 for a small coffee and sausage McGriddle. That meal is $2.10 in MS not the amount she gave me. Then I noticed she always charges an amount where there's only a Penny or two for change in hopes they will say keep the change and not get there receipt and go to the second window. Well today she said $6.28 and walked off while I got my money. A guy came to the window and took my money and gave it to the manager to finish the transaction because they were switching to breakfast. The manager gave it to the girl to bring to me and the receipt said $5.16. I asked her where did she get $6.28 from. She said that's what it came up to because the system was down. I said what's that have to do with how much it is? She said because that's what it came out to on the calculator. Okay? Makes zero sense what so ever. I needed to go so I got my food and left. Opened it to find my food hard as a ROCK and cold. Turned around and went in side this time. When I told the manager what was wrong he said well the hash browns are always like this and it didn't seem hard to him. Well it does to me, can I have a new one? He asked the cook to make it. I went to the bathroom and over heard the manager teller my the girl stealing the money that her draw was short of money. She blamed it on the girl working before her. read more

My first job was McDonald's on Hwy80 W, Jackson , MS. I awas proud to be an employee! Then I had the privilege to be transferred to the then "NEW" store, on Hwy 80 Pearl, MS. It was considered a huge privilege to be part of a new store opening. This privilege was not lost on me or my fellow employees, at the time. Back then we had to memorize the menu plus the price of each menu item AND Sales Tax. We didn't have the luxury of touch computers! We were taught to be kind, friendly and treat all customers with utmost respect & kindness AND above all, fill all orders correctly as quickly as possible. This was all before 'drive-thru' was conceived. Honestly, it was a rarity that orders were filled incorrectly. We were face to face with customers at the counter & they could see what was taking place. Today, it matters not if your order is placed inside, at the counter, or the drive through-it's 100% assured if you have the courage to go to any Rankin County, MS location (especially Pearl,MS), you're order will be delivered after a looooooooong wait. Your food (used loosely) will be not only cold, but completely wrong. They are consistent in this one and only arena. It sickens me to see today's McDonalds' management expect so little from its employees and delivered product. PLEASE do us all a favor and ship up or ship out! You have been measured & weighed and found WANTING! Not that you'll believe this even if you were to read it. It is the truth. PLEASE hire some people that appreciate their jobs or at least have enough self respect to get at least 50% orders right. NO! We the public that work just as hard for the same dollar deserve 100% of our orders correctly! Once upon a time, it was an embarrassment to get an order wrong. Ate here last night on the way home to Louisiana. Late night and didn't feel like getting out at a truck stop for coffee. So I pulled in and waited 25 minutes for service after having to repeat myself because it "was too loud in there" for them to hear. Was told that they did not have any creamer for my coffee at the window. And I had ordered a cheese b urger to get me home. Coffee was luke warm at best and hamburger had an off taste so I stopped after a few bites. Got home about 130 by 330 it felt as if a demon had taken over my body and was evacuating everything I had eaten on my vacation. So apparently along with the terrible coffee I was given a rancid hamburger. Keep driving if you're in pearl. read more

I would give a 0 if I could. As soon as you walk in there is a very unpleasant smell. The food is always cold or wrong. The people are rude and think they own the place. The last time I was there I gave the lady a $10 bill and my food was 7.02 and she gave me $1.58 and said she would have the get the rest of the change when she went and got her drawer. So while I'm still waiting in line she goes on break and I have to wait 45 minutes on my food and never even got my change. Will never go back. read more

this location has horrible customer service and they never get your order right. And telling people to pull down to wait on an order is cheating the McDonald's timer. The ice cream machine is always down and the last visit they told my son that they didn't any big Mac meat. I ask about the ice cream machine and they stated that they clean it around 8 and shut it down. Their Tea taste old because the tea filters are never changed. This place is where other McDonald's franchise owners have night terrors and cold sweats about!! I just ordered a cheeseburger with everything, no mayo. I received a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles only on it. I went inside to explain that I wanted everything, no mayo; in the burger universe, I think that it's accepted that "everything" is mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, ketchup, mustard, or whatever. The blank faced, brainless response I got was, "that IS everything it comes with. You want to add lettuce and tomato and all that?" Please please please let this place be struck by lighting with no injuries or deaths. Skimping is one thing. This is a new level of incompetence, lack of proper training of employees, or just plain old apathy, by every level of staff, from the fry cook to the franchise owner. They are an affront to every other McDonald's on this earth. The only reason I continue to be lured back to this monstrous disappointment of wasted commercial real estate space, is because it is literally 3 blocks from my home and every time, in order to avoid the extra 15-20 min of driving to Brandon, I convince myself that, "Maybe it will be ok this one time". It never is. The users on Google agree with me. I'm not a frequenter of McDonald's in general except for the breakfast food. But I will literally drive the extra 7 miles to Brandon for that. The one here stinks at that too. Undersized portions compared to the brandon one, dried out tiny biscuits( literally half the size), and extremely long waits for simple orders.
