The drive thru was atrocious today. It took 30 minutes to get through the drive thru (like another review, I was "trapped" on the inside lane). The order then got to us incorrect (1 burger and a medium drink). I'm giving them a star back for how well the inside front serviced handled it. He was prompt, nice and took care of the problem. Overall, the drive thru is normally better than this, it was just a bad day. Some other reviews mentioned other locations being better, while I disagree, I will say that majority of McDonalds tend to have issues with their double lanes and slow service. read more

Today we stopped off at the Portland Indiana McDonald's. After placing our order I noticed that they had brought all of our items and individual boxes approximately six of them. I had ordered three meals one meal had three eggs and a milk. The second meal had one egg a sausage and a hash brown. And the third meal was two scrambled eggs. The cost of the meal was nearly $21 the same meal that I paid approximately $15 for at the Albany Indiana McDonald's. When they brought the meal they had forgotten the hash brown. They said that they could not give us individual platters. I then went up to the counter and asked if I could speak with the manager. A rather disagreeable woman said what do you want in that tone of voice. I said I wanted three platters she said well that's not what you ordered the other day when you're in here. This I thought was rather interesting considering I had not been in that McDonald's for over a month. We normally order our meals at the Albany Indiana McDonald's. Which incidentally should be considered the flagship of McDonald's for this area. I told her I have no idea what you're talking about and that I had not made an order here and over 30 days and that we had always gone to the Albany location. She then took three platters and nearly through them at us and said there are your platters. I then informed her I really did not appreciate her throwing things at me. At that time I asked to speak with her supervisor a young lady come up to us at our table I informed her of how we were treated and that they had gotten the order completely messed up. I received approximately 8 or 9 eggs it's all scrambled when I only ordered six. I did not receive the hash brown which she brought to my table later on. I informed her of the young lady who said that she was the manager and how she had treated us and she said that is not the manager that she was. I then informed her that perhaps she should talk with her and ask her why she stated that she was a manager and why she treated customers the way that she did. I then asked for the owner's number of the franchise which she gave me. I'd like to say that the people at the counter taking the money and the people who brought us the food were very kind and very professional. Unlike the supposed manager who acted as if the world owed her something. One of our servers notice my United States Marine Corps retired hat that I wore and asked how long was I in. I told her 24 years. She sent me I shake your hand and thank you for your service. I said thank you very much for the kind words. She also noticed that I was handicapped. Just before leaving I went to the restroom and nearly fell down because the floors were wet and the signs were out but the floor seemed really greasy like. I did not fall and I was extremely careful. My wife and I both are 74 years old and we recently was in an auto accident which gave her four broken ribs and banged up quite a bit. I received a lacerated liver a broken left arm and broken left wrist and a broken leg. Also traumatic brain injury and a broken back. They almost had to amputate my leg but thank God and I mean that the nurse was able to save it. I spent 14 months in a convalescent facility and while there I suffered too heart attacks. When I had the accident and I was being taken to St Vincent's hospital and Carmel Indiana by helicopter the staff on the lifeline helicopter told my wife to say goodbye to me that I was not going to make it. They also told my wife to say goodbye to me after I was there at Carmel Indiana and they also told her to say goodbye to me when I had the two heart attacks. I contribute my recovery to four things. Number one God who is first in my life. Number two a loving wife which sometimes I don't deserve. Number three the United States Marine Corps and finally the love of family and friends. I was told I would never walk again that I would be a quadriplegic well I may not dance but I do walk without the Walker without a wheelchair without a cane. So the next time someone says thank you for your service or you hear that phrase being used remember one thing. We appreciate the words more than you'll ever know. My fellow Marines, Navy, Army and Air Force personnel deserve to hear those words. I'm sorry if I got off in a little bit of a tangent here but I felt that these words needed to be said. 1st off, their "business hours"... they CLAIM to be open till 1am on weekends (F-Sun), key word CLAIM. However, over past 8 times ive driven +20min over, anywhere from 12:30-12:45pm (NOT like within min of closing just to be clear) & theyre CLOSED! All the lights, signs, etc are on indicating theyre open. HOWEVER, they turn off drive thru menu, won't respond to order speaker, & lock all doors. Everyone's still clocked in tho & alarm isnt set, just so they can claim to corporate &/or head manager "we didnt close till closing time, @ 1am". Whoever runs this place, ESPECIALLY night weekend shifts, NEEDS TO BE FIRED ASAP! Wemt from going there 2-3 times week to NOT AT ALL due to this. WHAT. A. F'ING. JOKE! read more

Worst ever. Period. Can I give zero star review?! I have given this location many chances to redeem themselves. Needs to be closed or everyone fired and reopened under new management. Multiple times paid on app only to be told they are closed at the drive thru. Asked to speak to a manager and then ignored as I sit at the speaker for 20 minutes. Slow. Management takes too long dancing and singing behind counter while my food sat getting cold. Customer behind me got his food before I got my drink cup while I waited. I told management it took too long to get my food. She started off to me as I walked away from the counter. Her excuse was the person behind me was a regular. Additionally I didn't appreciate the same manager taking out food orders to cars in drive they while she was vaping and on her phone between vehicles. Never saw her wash her hands. read more

If you want to be charged over a dollar more for certain items at this McDonald's than other McDonalds stop here! Not great service with long wait times and extra expensive food items. Skip this one if posssible! read more

Everyone's so cranky and hateful at this location. Food is always cold. I had chewy chicken nuggets today. Fries have little to no flavor/salt and always cold or stale. Service inside is a joke. Had to wait almost my whole lunch break on some nuggets and fries. Drive through employees are so hateful. Just makes me feel like I need to get my food and go. read more

This place is horrible! I ate inside, they never brought my ice tea, I asked 4 times had nothing to drink during my meal. Finally as I was leaving I asked for a large cup and got a coke for the road. Oh didn't mention that the last 2times I asked, it was the manager! read more

my son went through the drive through this morning. went to pay for his food when the employee was reading back his order got mad and yelled at him because he said yes ma'am. said he was rude for assuming her gender. never again will my family go to this McDonald's. we'll go to Wendys. read more

This is one of the worst McDonalds around. They can't even give you the same price for an item two days in a row. That doesn't even begin to get into the fact that you wait longer just to order the food. You could be in the first line for drive through and be passed up be 5 cars in the second lane. This is absolutely the worse McDonald's I've ever been to they got my order totally wrong so I went back to get it replaced and they still got it wrong even though the manager replaced it got home and for the third time it was still wrong they did offer to replace and refund but why bother I went 3 times in one day and they still couldn't get my order together so I really wouldn't recommend this McDonald's to anyone.. read more

We stopped on the way back to Bluffton; waited a while at the drive thru with no response and drove to the window. The guy at the window said he would have to talk to the manager instead of taking our order! The manager said we would have to go thru the drive thru again! If so, we would have left! Fortunately, there was an intelligent worker that took our order and rang it up on the counter and brought our food promptly. He should be the manger and the guy at the window without a job! read more

Slowest McDonald's ever. I made the mistake of taking the inside lane and couldn't get out of line.

When pulling up to drive thru all the workers were out smoking. Ordered a sausage biscuit and the biscuit was hard as a rock.

Wow! There were at least 12 people working behind the counter. However, they weren't working at all! We waited 20 MINS. for 2 fries and 2 burgers. Nothing special about them at all. While we were waiting, the kids made their plans for the night, talked about their weekend and who was dating who. Absolutely ridiculous, certainly was NOT fast food. Never will I stop here again when we are driving through. read more
