Cute burger joint with friendly staff…read more I ordered the Prince Harry is overrated and truffle Mac and cheese one of my friends ordered the juicy Boris falafel burger with seasoned fries and another friend but they're shrimp sandwich with seasoned fries The beef burger was so good I have no complaints I loved it hands down it was Fresh it was amazing the falafel burger was also good as well no complaints there the shrimp burger we were in a fan of the shrimp itself tasted good but the bread and the toppings that came with it didn't mix very well with The Truffle mac and cheese was a little too rich for me the cheese was very overpowering I was not able to finish the season fries will get us so overall they were ok but they weren't the best fries I would definitely go back for another burger which is what they're known for so if you do visit I would try a burger whether it's chicken or veggie try the burgers that's what they're good at

It looked like it was going to rain, but it did not after all, so we could have stayed outside, as the sun came out! We got a lovely table by the window. Nothing on the menu was above £6.50. There were choice of burgers, dogs or pulled pork in a bun. I ordered the "prince charles is overrated" burger. The patty beef burger were done the way I liked it, quite charred on the outside and medium inside, in a toasted hot bun. It was succulent and tasty served on top of shredded iceberg, pickles and dirty spread (that is what it says on the menu!) and topped with crispy bacon. It also comes with cheese but I asked for no cheese. The basket of fries was a very large side dish, enough for two people to share. We ordered the chilli cheese fries which was seasoned and topped with minced beef covered in cheese and green chilli. They had an interesting "mar-grrr-eat-her" slush cocktail, but unfortunately, they had ran out of the lemon and lime slush, so I tried the local ale instead. There was a constant queue at the door and the waitresses continued to be very cheerful. Lovely and very helpful service. The bill was settled at the counter.

Uncomfortable, overpriced, and unexpected…read more I ordered a hamburger with Monterey Jack cheese, £6.50, and some cheesy chips, £4.00 - the processed 'cheesy' sauce was just so inedibly salty I couldn't finish it, the chips themselves were the same as McDonalds but 4x the price and the burger was all the wrong kinds of greasy. The bun was just soaked in it on all sides in a way that just wasn't enjoyable. The only plus was that the actual beef meat was pretty good quality. Everyone loves some good classic American diner food, but trust me when I say this overpriced attempt is not it.

I've been here on several occasions after it opened (in fact I walked in on the opening night by…read morepure chance and thus landing myself some free food and drinks!), and each time I left satisfied. The menu offers typical American diner fare specialising in burgers, though there are also burritos and hot dogs on offer. As well as a variety of sides and puddings. There is also a breakfast menu which includes your typical fry ups as well as breakfast burritos and pancakes. The burgers are obviously the main draw and I can safely say they are well worth the price. You get two patties in each burger and each one is packed with flavour and is very filling. There's a good variety on offer from your standard burger to chilli burgers, burgers with pulled pork and chicken burgers. The burritos are also very good and very filling. I haven't tired the hot dogs yet so I can't comment. There's a good variety of sides including onion rings, fries, chilli, and sweet potato fires. These are great for just a light snack on their own. I cannot comment on the pudding menu as I haven't tried it. The general atmosphere of the establishment is that of a bar rather than a sit-down restaurant. Food is served on a tray and comes wrapped so you can take it away if you want and there is a wide variety of drinks on offer. However cutlery is available on request and the staff are very friendly, so one can enjoy a more formal meal if they want. Overall it's a very good establishment and there are many deals like lunchtime specials or 2 for 1 burgers on offer, which you can take advantage of. I'd strongly recommend the Pulled Ear Burger and the burritos.

It is both a blessing and a nightmare that Brighton Burger is so close to my current flat. A…read moreblessing because, let's face it, these are some of the best burgers I've ever tasted, and a nightmare because it's going to be hard not to get one every single day... Set up in a tiny, shack-like kitchen just beside the Giggling Squid, Brighton Burger serves hearty, honest, flavoursome food. Their menu is wonderful, hosting many unusual eats and obscure burgers - from wild boar to buffalo- but they also server your usual burger and fries to a very high standard. The burgers themselves are almost moist and full of flavour. So moist, in fact, that my takeaway burger soaked through the paper bag (my only teeny complaint!). This can be forgiven though, for as soon as you bite into the juicy burger, cuddled by sweet, soft bun and topped with whatever glorious accompaniments you opted for, everything can be forgiven. Literally everything. This last visit had me trying out the buffalo burger, which was absolutely delicious! Not as different tasting as you might expect it to be, but certainly different enough that you notice you're tasting something new and out of the ordinary! I added chips to my order and they came out, all thin and crispy, just how I like them! I almost typed there were 'too many chips' there, but let's be honest there's no such thing. There were loads of them though, in one portion, so maybe share between two if your appetite is not massive! The man who served me was pleasant (they always are!) and the service was quick and painless. The burger and chips came to around £8 which, though not the cheapest in Brighton, is so so reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food here! There's also a few tables and chairs dotted out by the front of the place, so you can sit in the sun (when it's about) and enjoy your burger in peace, watching the world go by! If you're in Brighton and you haven't tried these burgers then, firstly, shame on you, and secondly TRY THEM. I'll eat my hat if you're not impressed and back again for seconds the next week! :P

This is really a special kind of burger place…read more We are spoilt for choice in Brighton, and so much of our community is staunchly on team burger brothers, with splinter faction taking root for the admirable efforts of GBK. This is a call for burger pluralism. As Sophie said, Brighton Burger is equally good in a different way. Every burger here is special. At first glance each one of them could have come from a different restaurant. Most visibly, the buns are completely distinct. All time favorites are of course the Brighton Burger and the Ranch. There is something here for you regardless of what kind of burger you like. Purists ought to grab the eponymous Brighton Burger, but even if you want pulled pork there's a sandwich for you in the Tennesse Terror. Rest assured, the patties are succulent, the unique buns are always on point, and the veg is top notch. Just look at the photos and try this place out.
