This place does exactly what it says on the tin... Burgers! And good ones at that!…read more This is a brand new restaurant open this weekend, they have a sister restaurant on Whiteladies road (just a few miles away) which has really taken off, so it seems like the natural thing for them to do. So tonight was really busy, pretty much every table taken, this didn't matter though we were shown straight to our table and given menus. You place your orders on tick box forms, and then give them back to the waiting staff. There's loads to chose from with out being over whelmed. Basically you chose your meat (or veggie burger) there's about 8 options inc lamb, chicken etc. then an extra filling, 2 sauces and a side all for around £8, bargain! Food was delivered to the table within 10 minutes, I would highly recommend the 6oz beef burger, grilled bacon and blue cheese with a side of fries, yummy!!!! My friend had the 6oz beef, Cheddar and onion rings which look equally delicious and somewhat mouth watering! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the service was faultless. I really like the decor, clean, crisp and modern with no gimmicks which is a refreshing change to some other burger places around. They have an out side decked sitting area at the front, which considering this place is on a bustling high street really catches your eye and quiet inviting. Great for couples and small groups, I probably wouldn't want to take a big group of rowdy friends, apart from anything else they probably wouldn't fit many in. I would definitely go back and recommend to others.

The service was excellent, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful to me with my buggy - there are some steep steps to get up to get into the building but someone came and helped me in (not sure how wheelchair users will get in but I'm sure they'll have that covered) I opted for the straightforward beef burger and my friend went for the wild boar burger, I had pulled pork and cheddar cheese as a topping (pulled pork on a burger it would turn out is delicious) I loved the fact that you got free refills on soft drinks, left there buzzing having drunk way too much coke!! I ordered corn On he cob as a side as my baby loves it and also some hash browns. The only thing stopping me from giving this 5 stars was the chips, we went for hand cut chips which were more like wedges than chips and not that nice, next time I will go for fries though and maybe I'll update this with an additional star. I also do fear that on a busy week day lunch time the place may become too rammed up with buggies as north street is parent central, I'm sure the management will be able to come up with an innovative solution though. All in all a very nice meal, we didn't pay but if we had I would have come away feeling that I had got very good value for money.

Top burgers in Purley! When you eat in your meal comes in metal dishes with logo under your burger and chips! What I love about this place is the menu is simple, the ingredients are not so simple but mainly you chose what kind of burger ie chicken, beef then you can stop there or add other ingredients and then you can get fries which are not like your normal fries as they are freshly made and taste amazing as there's different toppings, then to top it off you could have a milkshake or an alcoholic milkshake! There are much more items on the menu as they have a brunch menu and dessert! But if your getting a takeaway they are nice enough to let you sit down drink some cold water and enjoy freshly made popcorn! So the beef burger is my favourite as the buns are nice and soft, the burger is a good thick portion which is very juicy - I'm starting to think they must steam the burger as when you bite into it it is just clear meat juice! The sweet potatoe fries are the best and I like to top it all off with a Reece's peanut butter milkshake which is so yummy you can drink the whole thing too quickly but the best bits is the chocolate at the bottom which I grab a spoon and enjoy the scrapings at the bottom of my milkshake! The staff are really friendly and you can place orders at 11.30am every day!

Staff were a little overwhelmed today somehow, but that didn't detract from the experience. A couple did leave before they got served as they had other things to do, it's not a fast food joint! Their chilli jam is a great companion, just the right amount of chilli. The rosemary chips are perfect. I'll be back.

They are entering quite a competitive market but from my dining experience, they are a welcome addition and should be here to stay Most customers will be drawn to Flip part of the menu with cooked to order delicious looking and smelling burgers. Certainly looked a lot more promising than the disappointing Five Guys a few doors down and cheaper to boot However, I was here for the rare-to-find-in-Britain French dip sandwich. The choice in the Dip part of the menu was roast beef or lamb, served with their appropriate accompaniments. For those unfamiliar with French dip, imagine slices of meat dipped in gravy in a brioche bun, served with more gravy in a bowl on the side. The idea is to saturate each meaty bready mouthful by dipping it into the gravy, a heavenly experience I discovered in the States The D&F sandwich was filled with excellent roast lamb but I did struggle to dip it effectively. It was generously overfilled and the next time, I shall push the meat in more fully into the sandwich before dipping. The bun held up well but I found myself making a bit of a mess on the tray. French dip is messy eating but perhaps not this messy! Kitchen towel is provided on the table as well as a clean up wet wipe. Engineering constructs aside, it was an excellent tasting meal though I'd probably omit the pickle and tone down the amount of mint sauce next time but that's just my palate Fries are interesting here. They're available plain with Australian seasoning, with squeezy American cheese or 'poutine' style with mozzarella cheese (not strictly poutine with no cheese curds) and grab or with added chilli too. I'm a huge fan of poutine, so the choice was easy. It was a slow night in the restaurant and their gravy wasn't piping hot, so my poutine, while nice, wasn't the melty cheesy gooey mess that it could be. To be fair, they took my comments on board and I shall be back Lastly, I had an excellent proper milkshake - the 330mls is enough. Alcohol is available at this sit down venue An excellent addition to the Wimbledon dining scene. I shall be back to try the more traditional beef French dip and with a few tweaks, 5 stars is on the cards. I'm excited!
