Now I've had my order messed up twice (which isn't a big deal in itself I just told them that wasn't what I ordered) and instead of just apologizing and fixing it they were pretty rude. I wasn't alone in the car and both of us knew exactly what I'd ordered and I didn't say it wrong. But the employee almost... accused me of changing my order? It was really bizarre. Coffee is just okay, usually overly sugary if you order anything flavored.

It's a spacious building with good, cozy atmosphere and plenty of seating and parking. The service has always been friendly and the prices are incredibly fair (easily half what you'd pay at a Starbucks). There are also local crafts and art pieces for sale inside. As noted, it's spacious so it's probably a pretty good place to do some limited work from if you're a hybrid worker in need of a change of scenery--not sure of the wifi situation, however.

More on my opinion on the latte in a minute. The bakery is in another room and they had a large variety of pastries that are prepared in the building. I ordered an Apple fritter, a chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. My wife ordered a sour cream donut plus a lemon blueberry muffin. The Apple fritter was delicious with nice chunks of apple. One of the best I've ever had. So, after a bite of it, I gave my wife the caramel latte and ordered a black coffee. The sweetness of the fritter with the latte simply doesn't mix well IMO. The drink I had of the latte was really good but of course, I preferred a black coffee with the fritter. My wife loved the sour cream donut and thought it was better than our local donut shop we frequent that has her favorite sour cream donut. We saved the other two for the next day. So, no reviews for those two. This is a great local coffee shop with great products, great variety, and fantastic customer service. I found the Flying Pig Coffee Shoppe on Google and decided to give it a try. The Flying Pig had everything I needed, a wide assortment of coffees and drinks as well as lunch items, a bakery, snacks and most importantly free wifi that was easy to connect to. The coffee was great and so was the bakery item I tried.
