This was a solid stop just off the highway, and I made it early enough to enjoy an Egg McMuffin with my coffee. There's something pleasant about settling into a corner table, placing the order on the app, and having the meal brought over, almost like a low‑key sit down restaurant without any of the fuss. The dining room was reasonably tidy and my table was clean. I walked over to the condiment and soda station to drop a few ice cubes into my coffee so it would cool down enough to drink, a small ritual that always makes the morning feel a little more manageable. The breakfast sandwich was put together correctly and still hot. The hash brown wasn't quite as warm and was a bit underdone, but with some ketchup (which I had to go request at the counter) it all came together well enough. Waited 15 minutes to get the wrong order. There's a reason this place is under 2 stars

The food was good but that's about it. Went inside to order and there was a cashier on the headset taking orders for the to go line while the rest of us stood and waited to place our order. Another employee showed up to present a coffee to another customer but when the customer asked about the Frappe - the response was the Frappe machine was not working. I felt sorry for that customer - no addition comment was made as to what would be done about it. The place appeared new & clean. Customer service just needs a bit of training. read more

This place looks renovated. I was told they were short staffed and to use their self order kiosk. I sent in the order and proceeded to get my drinks. My order came right up, missing one item and most importantly I have to say they skimp on the fries. Definitely more training is needed at this location. read more

We waited in line for a cashier and many glances were made our way but no one approached us for several minutes. Eventually an employee told us from afar that they only use the kiosk. I said we want to pay cash and was told there weren't any cash drawers available. We used the kiosk and used cards which was fine but, I felt like we were a bother to them. read more

This was hands down the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. Not only did it take forever to get our food, they got the order wrong, forgot food, AND the drink machine wasn't working. The true icing on the cake was the girl taking our order answered her own personal phone WHILE taking our order. If I am ever in the position to choose between this McDonald's and no food, I know which one I would pick. Let's start from the beginning, we walk in and are told that they "don't take orders and we need to use the kiosk". SCREAMS LAZINESS. We put in our order on their broken kiosk that doesn't even have all of the menu. Get our food and my burger is messed up. Okay no problem I'll just ask for the right one, right? No. After waiting 15 minutes (the only person standing there) I drop it. Still, I need another one. The janitor cleans it up and I ask him if he could get someone's attention to help me. He does and the manager proceeded to tell me that I HAVE to pay for another one. No reimbursements. In what world does a chain restaurant like McDonald's not make up for THEIR mistake. Everyone's had something be messed up at McDonalds but they reimburse you. This worker (African American, blonde box braids for reference) tells me "this McDonald's is different, we don't do that" ummm ma'am I think ALL McDonald's have the same rules because it's a CORPORATE CHAIN RESTAURANT!!!!! Btw all the tables were disgusting. Everyone "working" was dancing provocatively, cussing loud while kids were in there, and on their phones. Honestly I would give it a zero if I could, this McDonald's disgusts me. First of all food is cold. The service is terrible, this store needs to start over with employees I did not encounter 1 friendly face. Sat there for 45 freaking minutes for a burger. Employees were throwing napkins at the people who asked for them. Poor little old man asked for a cup because he didn't get one in the first place and the woman said what do you want?! He said a cup please. The woman SLAMMED the cup on the counter and said here!!! The cup went FLYING across the place and the poor guy is just standing there. He reached over the counter about to fall down to find another cup and here comes Ms Jolly again and says what now?? He said another cup. A guy behind me has to get another cup for the old man. The white guy with a short pony tail working the drive-thru on Saturday, March 27, 2021 around 11:30 PM was excellent. My girlfriend and I were on a road trip and weren't sure if this McDonald's would be open, but thankfully it was, and the man who was working the drive-thru was very professional, nice, personable, attentive to our order, and very upbeat and positive, especially for it being around closing time. I would definitely promote this guy. He embodied true customer service. It was probably the most pleasant McDonald's experience I've ever had. What a terrible place. If they could process the orders as well as they process their food it would maybe get another star. We ordered just a few things and were completely not surprised when they screwed it up. They forgot one of our hamburgers and when we tried to go inside the door was locked. I live in Ridgeland and work in Bluffton. I stop at both locations exit 21 and exit 8 numerous times a week. I don't know if the same management runs both locations but it seems as though it is the same. Service is never good or fast and my order is wrong 75% of the time. This morning at exit 21 I ordered a steak egg and cheese bagel I got a bacon egg and cheese bagel and I don't eat bacon that's a real bad way to start your morning! read more
