Philosopher's Cup Everything Bagel
Monique B.

I have noticed this place for the longest and never knew it was a coffee shop. I recently stopped in and instantly fell in love with the concept. It's literally an old house with a huge wrap around porch turned into a down home coffee shop. There are so many spaces indoors and outdoors to host a meeting, bookclub, do work, study or just relax. The customer service was really good and the prices were reasonable. I enjoyed the coffee and everything bagel very much.

Let's start with the good: the strawberry short cake Tea Late was to die for, very smooth and light, refreshing and flavorful. The setting is nice as well, would be great for a quiet sit down alone or even a work meeting with a few others. There is plenty of outdoor seating too, It's a dog friendly place, we opted to leave ours in the car while we ordered but we're told next time it's perfectly fine to bring him in when we order, but they do ask to enjoy your purchase outside if you bring your pet (service animals are obviously an exception) The only down fall we had was that our second drink, cookies with Santa- hot, was awful. My husband isn't a coffee snob like me but he could tell the coffee had been burnt badly. Otherwise the flavors would've been nice. This isn't stopping us from coming back again though, everyone has an off day, and sometimes that means you accidentally burnt the coffee.

Great coffee and atmosphere. Ripley and I had a chill and relaxing time. Cat approved

This lovely old house turned into a coffee cafe is just the place to think about when needing to wrap your feet and hands around the comfort and warmth of this cozy place. When you open the door, a tiny welcoming squeak lets you know that you're inside. As the click of your heels roll across the hardwoods toward the back of the house, you'll see the open kitchen area where the brewing magic happens. There is a small glass box filled steam and condensation that is a clear warning that whatever's inside is fresh and warm. The tiny handwritten signs provide clues about the baked deliciousness ready to be devoured. The service is friendly and responsive. I really appreciate the long list of both coffees and teas with various additional options available. Also they have the most decadent hot chocolate that I ordered with almond milk that was YUMtastic! I decided to order one of those still warm cinnamon muffins that did not disappoint at all. I invite everyone to stop inside because it is absolutely a place to unpack and unwind if you want a space to relax, study, or just chill. I decided to take a virtual meeting here and it was the best decision I made.

Iced and to-go!

Not only was the coffee amazing (the lavender latte and the "baywatch" special were bit out of this world), but the service was even better. What a cozy, inviting space and place this is! I only wish it was closer so I could go often!

Tons of places to plug in and work or just sit and enjoy your beverages and pastries

Yes!! Everything about this place is perfect!! They have a ton of space to work or play games and a cute little patio that really has that small town feel. The employees are always so happy and welcoming. "Must try" 's the philosophers cup (coffee) and sausage kolache!! Both are unforgettable and crave-able. Plenty of parking with a front and back lot and some side street overflow parking too.

Stopped here after we arrived from the airport; it is a coffee shop nestled in a house. It has several seating options, art from local artists, and a smaller drink menu that includes seasonal drinks as well. The workers were friendly and helpful; offering suggestions of places to visit and restaurants to try during our time in Savannah, GA. I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte along with a sparkling beverage. Both were tasty.

What a cute spot for a coffee shop! I was in the mood for a smoothie and thought I would stop in and grab me one! I decided to order the Tropical Harmony smoothie and it was delicious! The employee was kind and helpful! I love the layout here! The tables and sofas they have to offer to sit and an enjoy your drink or food item are modern and nice! I love that it is a house turned into coffee shop! The bathroom was clean and I love the decor in all the rooms. I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu!

This is a house converted into a coffee shop with probably one of the best coffees we have had this year! So much so that I will be going here tomorrow for the third day in a row. They have a cute tea menu as well! You can smell them before you order. I loved the Pure Energy with honey

Found this coffee shop on our way down to Florida. Saw the reviews and it wasn't too far from I-95 so decided to try it. Perfect spot to stretch the legs and a pick me up. Coffee was great! Friendly staff and clean.

Simple but delicious. This place gives you a small town feel and the original home has divided rooms that lets you have some space. Very friendly staff and locally owned.

This is a great spot! A lovely place to sit for a coffee and have a small bite to eat. Their name is no longer The Front Porch. It is Three Tree Coffee Roasters. So do not panic if you type The Front Porch into your phone and Three Tree comes up. It is the correct place. The company has not updated everything as of yet. Three Tree Coffee Roasters is located in a white House directly off of highway 80. There is a large sign and the house is as well. This makes their establishment easy to find. Parking can be found in front, side, and the back of the building. The house has a large wrap around porch, hence the previous name. There are many tables and chairs outside upon it. Once inside you are greeted with light pastel green and natural woods subtly bringing what you would experience sitting out on the front porch indoors. Many types of tables and chairs can be found throughout the space. If you walk around from room to room. They have also made sure to provide extra stations for charging. Bathroom is in the middle of the hallway which connects the rooms. You will see the coffee bar area where you order once you turn the corner when you walk in. It is a small area, fair warning. This can cause people to all stand together in that small space while waiting for their order. I stepped back to the open area which is spacious. The menu has all of the classics you can get at a coffee roaster. But one of the parts I enjoyed was the special seasonal menu they had. It did not just have one item like some places have. There were multiple, fun, and new drinks to choose from. Yes, there are diary free milk options here too! They also have baked goods to choose from in a small case. A few are even gluten and/or diary free. The two staff members were friendly and experienced. I told them this was my first time in. They greeted me and told me about the offerings. Then one asked me what I typically drink. She made a few suggestions from there. I got a iced dirty white chocolate lavender chai latte. I enjoyed it. I generally always order an iced dirty chai. But she said the spring menu was adding the white chocolate and lavender. I told her I was not a fan of a lot of sweet in my coffee. But I am a fan of flavor. She said she would adjust the amount of syrup for me. I am glad I gave it a try! If you're looking for a great local coffee spot to visit Three Tree Coffee Roasters should be on your list!

Sweet ambience.

Best coffee in Statesboro. Perfect roasts and the staff is very pleasant. I've seen them go out of their way to support one another.

Not sure if it was an off day, but the espresso roast was burned and the milk was steamed too hot. Wanted to like it.

Our Airbnb did not provide coffee, so we came here and found a nice selection of beans and an industrial coffee grinder on-site. They also have an extensive selection of cheese, crackers, fresh breads and other food items. Everything is natural and prices reflect that, similar to Whole Foods or even a bit pricier. We really enjoyed their selection of mushroom products and picked up some mushroom infused coffee and mushroom bacon (Mybacon, or mycelium bacon). They also had plenty of fresh, loose mushrooms in the produce section. I also purchased an almond soap which is so delicious smelling. They have roll on essential oils which are great for traveling. Great spot and service and checkout was friendly. I would suggest they price their cheese individually with stickers because the menu with prices they had was confusing and not all the cheeses available were listed on the menu. Also be advised the prices are quite high for most things.

Man, I had no idea seven brew coffee was so popular here! I first visited a franchise location in…read morethis chain a couple of years ago in Northwest Arkansas, and found it to be serviceable, but not anything memorable. However, fast-forward a couple of years later and a couple of relocations later and now I have expanded my view of 7. First of all, my in-laws were in town and we were headed out for a day of touring the city of Savannah. Before we left, they wanted to get something specifically from seven brew because my stepfather in law is a diabetic and specifically frequent seven brews back in Kansas City because they serve sugar-free drinks. Go figure. For someone who doesn't have to observe that type of dietary restriction, but who does have friends and family who are diabetic, that felt like a fact I needed to know. So I could totally appreciate his need to specifically go here. And so we headed over on a Saturday morning. Now let me tell you, if you are coming to this location during any sort of peak traffic time, I would assume the line is going to be wrapped around the building because this location seemingly does not enjoy any downtime. Both lanes were full all the way through the parking lot and spilling into the CVS parking lot next-door. While we didn't quite realize that you could walk up and order after parking until after we had gotten in line, I would definitely recommend that option for anybody who has the time and the ability to do it. And while the line did move somewhat decently, it still took us about 15 minutes start to finish to get in line, place our order and pick it up and pull out of the parking lot. But that being said, everybody in the car enjoyed their drinks. Which surprisingly, did not feature coffee. Everybody either ordered one of their energy drinks or sugar-free drinks. So there it is. Seven brew is a nice alternative to your local sonic and smoothie king, which are both up the street. If finding alternative coffee drinks at a coffee spot alongside of sugar-free drinks is your thing, I would definitely recommend them!

I noticed the kiosk set up of Ella Fresh Fruit Bar (EFFB) when I popped in to check out Taco Grande…read morea couple of weeks ago. Both Taco Grande and EFFB are all within the same space as Big Bazaar Indian and Mexican Grocery. I noticed the big banner hung outsIde of the building in Spanish, but it had fruit cocktail looking items and naturally, I was curious. Upon entering, I inquired inside and the Indian lady informed me it was opening this week, so here we are. This is a Mexican Style Fruit Bar. They have all sorts of fruit (and certain veggie) concoctions. Some have diced fruits, some are parfaits with layers of fruit flavored yogurt and some are just over the top (literally), like the one we chose! They had one with a combination of fruits and cucumber and other with jicama (pronounced he-kah-ma, a.k.a Mexican turnip). If you don't know, it's a root and I feel like it's almost a cross between an Korean/Asian Pear and a Daikon Radish. It has a similar texture to both, with the same crunch, but without the spicy-ness of the radish nor the sweetness of the pear. At first, you may think that the fruit concoctions themselves may not be Mexican, but the choice of combinations (like cucumber or jicama) with the way it's prepared and the choice of toppings they provide at the end, will make you think otherwise. They have chili powder, hot sauce, sprinkles (yes, sprinkles!) and this pink sugar-looking topping that is sweet, but sour! These were only some of the choices. What we ate - I picked the most over-the-top one for my kids and I....oooooooobviously! Fruit Cup - Spears of Honey Dew melon, pineapple, papaya, mangos and it had a Strawberry Rose! So pretty! All the fruits were ripe and sweet and the guy then squeezed half a fresh orange all over it (and was about to add lime too, but I declined as I was sharing with my kids). I chose not to put any toppings, because again, my kids. Sigh... Mango Rose - This was a special request from Yours Truly. I had seen the Strawberry Rose on the fruit cup and I asked him if he did the same with mangos, because I thought my kids would get a kick out of it. It's cheap entertainment! I told him that I was from Montreal and that I would see these Mango Roses sprinkled with chili powder during the Summer at festivals and they sold like hotcakes! He happily obliged and made us one. He picked a nice, ripe mango, peeled it, stuck a bamboo chopstick in the stem part and then cut it like a rose, just like at the festivals in Montreal! Oh, the memories! They all came back! Vibe - They have built the kiosk on the right of the space as you walk in. They are still waiting on their logos and menus, so please be patient. The whole space in general has a lot going on. Mexican grocery and EFFB on the right, butcher in the back, Indian Grocery in the middle, Taco Grande to the left and Arcade in the front, but hey, if you are looking for all those things, it's a one stop shop! They also let us eat our fruit treats at the tables on the Taco Grande side, so that was nice. Service - He was so nice. He gave my kids a piece of jicama to try and added the mango in the fruit cup which was not in the original cup. He went out of his way to get a mango, peel it and cut a few spears off and added it to the cup, because I told him they liked mangos. On top of that, he happily executed my request for the Mango Rose because he knew what I was talking about and knew how to do it. Now is that great customer service?! Yes or yes?! Kid-Friendly - Yes! Both kids devoured it! Five dollars for an overflowing fresh fruit cup and two dollars for a Mango Rose was money well spent IMO, especially for a healthy after school treat and the memories it brought back of home.
