This was a very unpleasant experience for me and my siblings we came here in hopes of getting some ice cream and when we received it, it was melted. This is a very disappointing situation. Along with the melted ice cream the environment was disgusting. When we spoke with the staff they informed us that they could attempt to make a new one but it would turn out the exact same so we decided on leaving instead. As I received my food, I ask if everything was in the bag and lady at drive thru said yes. After checking I realized I had none of my fries. I went back to the window which took forever and finally got the rest of my food. When I made it home I discovered my son was short 2 chicken nuggets and my quarter pounder was not fully cooked all the way. Standard McDonald's location just off I-75 in Ringgold, GA. It's a consistent stop for me on trips between Atlanta and Nashville. Visits have always been via the drive-thru, and I've never had any major issues. Service is friendly, and my orders are always correct. My only complaint would be the fries, which can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they're hot and seemingly fresh, and other times they're cold or either under/over salted. It's not a deal breaker, but we all know McDonald's fries make the meal most of the time! Overall, solid fast food spot to fill the belly while on the road. 1 Star -- This McDonald's Ruined a Birthday I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be called out. I placed a mobile order at the Ringgold, GA McDonald's and waited over an hour sitting in the parking lot. I finally had to go inside just to get the food, and even then the order was still wrong -- they left out my kids' fries and the milk from their so-called Happy Meals. Meanwhile, I had a birthday cake and ice cream melting in my car because of how long they made me wait. By the time I finally left, everything was ruined. That alone was enough to make anyone mad. But the worst part? The manager, Christina, was unbelievably rude when I called. No apology, no accountability, nothing. She claimed I couldn't get a refund unless I came back within 24 hours -- even though they never even gave me a receipt -- and when I said I'd call corporate, she snapped back with "Good luck with that." This has to be the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. We went inside and ordered our breakfast in the McDonald's app on my phone. Then we stool there for 15 minutes waiting. There was one employee on break sitting in the restaurant and the others were hustling. I thought that maybe they paying more attention to the drive thru folks but there were drive thru people coming in to the restaurant asking for cream for their coffee, a sandwich that was missing, etc. There were about 5 orders of people waiting with me. What is wrong with these people?! It's July and the Memorial Day posters and tables/ decorations are still up? Our order was right and good job on that but it felt like it had sat out since the dawn of time. My food was so cold and the fries were harder than anything I've ever had. The worker at the desk or the person supposed to be at the desk wasn't there until 10 people piled up because he was too busy checking his phone and giving us dirty looks. We didn't know our order was ready because they just sat it on the counter with no number or nothing so people were confused and checking the order to see if it was theirs. It was so dirty the bathrooms granted weren't that bad but every trashcan was filled to the brim. The bathrooms were clean, they honored my BOGO breakfast sandwich coupon in my McDonald's app, and got 2 hashbrowns for around $2. I will take $6 for feeding teenage son and husband on a road trip! I signed a contract and planned a birthday party with this establishment months ago. Gave a deposit and everything. Called several times to verify what would be included in the party package ac reassured at every turn. The day of the party, we got there to celebrate the 8 year birthday of my niece, and the manager save crew had NO IDEA what I was talking about. The manger on duty, Shannon informed me she was in the middle of pulling a double. She had worked 3rd, and it was about 2:45pm the time of our conversation. So here I am in almost panick mode because I've got 30ish people coming for a birthday party. Well, I went and sat down and had some deep breaths and put myself in Shannon's shoes. As someone who's worked and managed fast food, I knew exactly where she was coming from. There are so many times when you've got things flying your direction, and you have to make spare of the minute decisions. Shannon attempted to call her boss, I'm not sure if they ever answered her or not, but at one point i looked out and saw that Shannon was leaving while we were all there waiting on her to fix a party and at that moment I almost had a total meltdown. I'm very glad I didn't. Shannon left to go buy a birthday cake from the store because the one McDonald's was supposed to supply wasn't there. She had two employees, even tho they were busy and seemed short staffed, dress as the McDonald's characters. Shannon herself could not have been more helpful and more kind. Also I ordered 40 nuggets and fries. I figured it would take a while (which it did) to make that many nuggets and didn't mind the wait for fresh food.
