    Yellow Brick Road Combo
    Naomi A.

So... we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures of the food once it arrived. Obviously we "hated it". My husband had the Philly steak omelet and coffee. I had the Yellow Brick Road Combo(French toast and 2 eggs) which they let me substitute the bacon for fried chicken. I also got a hazelnut latte which was outstanding! Every single thing we ate/drank here was amazing! The service was quick and pleasant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the close family atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be returning to our new favorite breakfast spot!

Unbelievably good!!! Stopped here on a road trip from Indiana and was hankering for some biscuits and gravy. The friendly staff greeted me when I came in and promptly took my order. Not only did they have biscuits and gravy they turned out to be some of the best I've ever had(Granny notwithstanding) The portions are great and the price is very good. Don't miss this breakfast treat!!!

GREAT new restaurant in the area! I have been twice and they've only been open a week. The smash burger was great and I LOVED "the Rita Marie"! It's a homemade, from scratch delicious chicken salad with avocado and crispy bacon on a croissant. I got the fresh fruit as a side. The white girl iced coffee was also great. I will most definitely be back. I was thoroughly impressed! Service was good. Perfect lunch spot. Plenty of tables. Simple, yummy food!

We started with the Brick Oven Pretzels and then ended up getting the Country Benedicts with hashbrowns, the Chicken & Waffles with bacon bits in the side, the French Toast Platter with side of bacon. The restaurant is cool. Open space with a full bar. They also have two conference rooms for hosting large groups. There are also several tvs with sports playing. It took quite a while to get our food, but it was hot. I tried the French Toast and it was still soggy in the middle, not completely done. Wasn't bad, just not how I like them cooked. My son must have liked the Chicken n Waffles because they did not last long, lol. I didn't mind my order. I didn't read that description through for the Country Benedicts but I'm not disappointed. I also inquired about catering and was told they do cater and have a smoker, pizza oven and that they go heavy on appetizers. Very nice!

Everytime we have been the food was bland, items listed on the menu for a dish were left off and we had to send it back and the service was horrible. Waitresses each time never checked back for any refills, never checked back after the food was delivered to make sure it was okay, and it took forever to find the waitress to get our check.

As I typically am not on this side of town, I went out of my way to find a new coffee house to try…read more Google identified several very quickly, but I wanted a spot that was not a chain, and not just a drive-thru option as for me, I want to sit, enjoy my coffee, relax a bit, or maybe do a bit of work. Grindhead is a funny little spot, directly behind a Dutch Brothers Coffee with a Caribbean/Pirate theme. So I walk in, and I hear from behind the coffee bar, Ahoy Matey to the sound of the Caribbean music playing in the background. The barista was friendly and helpful as we chatted a bit about the shop. I started with one of their seasonal offerings, an Eggnog Latte they called the Clipper. It was nice, but too sweet on the finish for me. That was on me for going that direction as I know the associated risk. Salt is a featured ingredient in a couple of their coffees, and as the barista had shared with me a recipe she makes at home that includes both salt and vanilla, I asked her to please whip up a latte to her home recipe.......now this was a real treat as the coffee, salt and vanilla worked in real harmony for a delightful drink. This shop is not really convenient for me as I have several good coffee house options in my own neighborhood, but I will be back, if nothing else I need to spend my dabloons.

My friend and I came here on a whim to check this place out. I haven't heard of this place before,…read moreit looks fairly new. This place is located in a plaza with a couple of other businesses so there's a bunch of parking. When we arrived, Bailey helped and picked drinks according to our taste. She's cheery and very friendly. I ordered some time of latte with Lavender and oat milk and my friend got the Crows Nest. I don't remember the name of what I got, but Bailey suggested my Lavender latte (with I think white chocolate?). It was some combination like that. Anyways, my drink was decent. This is a drink I normally get when I go to other coffee places. I love creamy oat milks and lattes, but this drink wasn't creamy enough for me. Also I felt like the lavender syrup was a little too sweet and potent. It overpowered the drink at times, it was just a little too sweet for me. I took a sip of my friend's Crows Nest and I was delighted upon first sip. It was delicious, not too sweet, and good. Maybe if I tried one of their chais or ordered that one, I would've had a better experience. There were so many good things about this place. I thought the coffee shop was cute with the pirate theme and decor. All the employees that we interacted with were wonderful. It's just my drink and the qualms I have with it. I'd come back to try their other drinks though.
