This is a "Better Than Most" kind of McDonald's that is usually very good at feeding folks and getting them on their way. Dine In, Take Out, or Drive Thru this one's pretty consistent. Newly Renovated about a Year ago it features new bathrooms, nice seating areas and plenty of stuff for the little tykes to climb all over to help burn off some of that Soda Buzz. I walked up to the Drive-Thru window 20 mins before they closed to ask if any DoorDash/Mobil Orders were left behind. If there was anything that was going to go to waste. The best I can do is ASK and if I don't ASK; my belly stays empty. The service needs to improve the staff is terrible not friendly what so ever! They won't take accountability for their mistakes and just overall a nasty place. don't go to this McDonalds. they are by far the worst place. The food is whatever basic you can get from any other McDonald's. I had the worst experience there the other day will never go back there (at least to that specific location) ever again! A staff there called me crazy when I said "this is crazy" because they wanted me to pay and reorder for a mobile order I already placed and paid for. I had the receipt the code and the confirmation number all for them to tell me it was canceled. They would not even provide me proof of the "canceled order" they kept claiming I did. I ended up paying twice. Went back in the McDonald's and guess what was sitting on the counter? The original mobile order I placed and paid for to begin with! They are ridiculous disgusting and disrespectful there was 2 women did not get the names unfortunately but they are terrible. They remodeled this one and keep it clean. It's an average Mickey Dee but threw an extra star because it looks nice. When you get the munchies, a 20 piece nugget, quarter pounder with cheese, chicken sandwich, egg mcmuffin, kids meal, large fries and a diet coke really hits the spot. read more

Since the new ownership at this McDonald's, things have gone drastically downhill. It's been remodeled and it looks dark and depressing. There's no beverage bar to get/refill sodas. The old staff is gone and there is new staff. They are rude and inconsiderate. The food is always cold when they call your number and it's never 'full' but far below the lines. The service is also incredibly slow. I would recommend other McDonald's before this one. read more

I went through the drive thru, got home with my order to find the burger I ordered for my wife with No Cheese and No Onions to contain Cheese. They marked the receipt and the paper on the box as per how I ordered. Knowing my wife's allergy to yellow cheese, I should have checked before leaving the drive thru or the lot, but I gave the staff the benefit of the doubt. I guess I partially have myself to blame since they have a sign hanging at the window to check your order before leaving. I also don't know why there are different numbers on the paid receipt and the burger box receipt. I don't normally have a problem with this location as I visit it weekly with my daughter as a treat for appointments done earlier in the day. read more

One of the cleanest McDonalds I've been in and I've never had them screw up my drive through order. They all are super nice to my children and since we are locals they remember us any time we go there. The have a play place (no ball pit thank God!) which is very clean and spacious. read more

I must've caught this McDonald's on a good day. The cashier was nice and the staff were quick to open up more registers when customers arrived. I saw the heavy-set gent that another Yelper mentioned too and he was actually very helpful when I had a request. In all other respects, it's a very standard McDonald's location. The food is about what I expected. Only real downside is there isn't a self-serve beverage bar so if you want a refill, you have to ask at the counter. read more

Pretty standard McDonald's. The drive-thru does move quickly and they have been accurate with my orders.

I moved to Rockaway about 2 years ago, so naturally I've been to this McDonalds (the only one in town) a few times since then. For a McDonald's, they're pretty good. Cleaner than most, better and more polite service than most, and they don't screw up your order nearly as much as the average McDonalds. Their food is actually pretty "fresh" most of the time too, by which I mean thay they always seem to have recently heated it up, since we all know that MCD food all comes frozen and is essentially just heated up. Not somewhere I'd go for a nice family dinner or date night, but for fast food; for dinner on a night when you're in a rush or on the road and need to stop somewhere quickly, and especially for a McDonalds, I continue to be impressed. read more

So the other day I walk into this Mickey Dee's by my nephew's high school. I was visiting, and all I wanted was an Egg McMuffin, a large diet Pepsi, and a Fruit and Yogurt Parfait (I am watching my weight, and I cannot consume any carbs). I asked for no bread on my Egg McMuffin and no granola in my Fruit and Yogurt Parfait.The first thing that happened was when I walked into this grimy establishment it smelled of children feces and a lot of American cheese. I did not think this would be difficult for my server to figure out because everyone goes on no carb diets! When I asked for my order, my server was giving me an unnecessarily hard time. She/he (did not know the gender) gave me an APPALLED look. She/he replied with an attitude, saying, "Excuse me? Did you say no bread for your Egg McMuffin and no granola for your Fruit and Yogurt Parfait? Okay, no big deal. Just never heard of something like that before." WTF?! (What The Food ;P) Why is she/he even questioning me? Never heard of a no carb diet? Effing rude. I could not believe the service I had received. I have never been this disgusted in my entire life. Once they finished up my order I was shocked and had a severe panic attack. They gave me diet Coca-Cola instead of diet Pepsi AS IF I would not notice. I went up and asked for the manager and the she/he server said, "I am the manager. What can I help you with?" I told it that they gave me my wrong effing drink! It said, "Oh well you must be mistaken because this is in fact diet Pepsi. I am sorry sir." YES. You heard me right. The she/he called ME "sir". I stormed out not paying for my drink and Egg McMuffin OR my Yogurt Parfait (no bread. No granola). Then they had the EFFING nerve to call the authorities (the Rockaway Police). I had to get picked up by my husband, who was NOT happy! I will be leaving another Yelp review for the Rockaway P.D. as well, for that was a whole other incident in of itself. after working there for a year, i was winked at constantly by a creepy employee who is much too interested in star trek, tried to alert managers to no avail and then when the employee got within a foot of my face and winked again after i told him not to repeatedly, i shoved him away and got fired. this guy gets away with everything because he's the managers best friend. he's tried to dump chocolate down the toilette to mess up my dining room. ive seen peoples food get abused here to the point where i asked someone else to serve it. the pictured employee usually makes his food bare handed, touching others in the process. in fact when richard (the large manager who is usually in a blue polo and rarely moves) is there a little drinking in the back isnt too uncommon. sometimes the meat is left for so long it turns hard, and still gets served. i can go on all day, but ill cut to the chase, dont go here. read more
