Light, fluffy, not too sweet, with a messy but delicious showering of powdered sugar. I would definitely stop by for their fresh, fluffy beignets to be eaten fresh because they make them fresh with every order! Just for their amazing beignets, it should be 5 stars. My friend also got a chai latte, which my friend actually really liked. She said it was one of the best she's ever had. I tried and it was really good, just super sweet. Taste-wise though - delicious! BUT I gave 4 stars because when I went, they were out of the other things I wanted and it wasn't clearly advertised so the poor girl helping me had to keep telling me sad news, one after another. I wish there was a sign stating if something was unavailable or they should've put away displays if items were not available. My friend wanted gelato because there was a picture of it displayed, but they said they didn't have that. Is it only a summer thing? Were they not serving gelato just for that day? I don't know, it was just unavailable. They really should not mislead customers by displaying the picture of the pretty gelato (the picture looked really good!). This also meant that I couldn't get the affogato because they weren't serving gelato. Again, the menu didn't clearly state they were not serving that drink. I also stopped by here specifically because I saw an Instagram post that their hot cocoa was one of the best. The "toasted" one was the one I wanted, but it was not available because they didn't have the marshmallow. Again, that one wasn't covered with a sign that it was unavailable. I ended up getting a drink somewhere else. Also, when we wanted a receipt, the girl helping us said it wasn't working. So it was just a bad timing that day. Poor girl was super nice as she delivered rejections, but I was still constantly disappointed. Again, if I'm ever in the area, I would definitely be back for their beignets and hopefully that next time, the menus will be more clear about what they have and don't have. Things to know before you go: -They have a lot of different donut flavors and fillings, which I didn't try. But make sure to prepare enough time to wait for them to be made fresh and depending on how busy they are at the time you go. It looks like it's worth the wait because so many people got several donuts. -There were about four 2-person tables and one table for 4-5 people and a couch for 2 people to sit snugly. So, not the best place for big groups.

The sashimi slices were surprisingly tiny compared to what they used to serve, and both the eel and the albacore tuna tasted old, which was really disappointing. On top of that, the portions were noticeably smaller across several dishes. I don't mind smaller portions at an all you can eat restaurant if the quality is there, but this time neither the quality nor the freshness met the standard I remembered. I'm not sure if management or the kitchen has changed, but the experience was completely different from what it used to be. Another time with the $6 meal deal, I requested no eggs n cheese and the wraps were burnt and they gave an extra burnt wrap so I had 3. Other times I ordered hash browns on two or more occasions, I asked for well done and they were cold or room temperature as if they said "whatever that's not happening"... I get that they are busy but why not just say that they cannot perfect the wraps if you change it. Also if making hash browns well done takes longer, have the customer wait on the side or come back around or inside. Don't just give them anything! Pay cash. 5 minutes later I get notified of two pending charges from 7-11 for 42.86 each. Went back to the store and the same guy says come back at 2:00 tomorrow. Tell him I have to work. Calls the owner. He refuses to check his merchant account, which would have immediately shown him that his system charged my card. Just claims we have no transaction. Police say can't do anything until it's a charge. Today it's a solid charge and the police tell me this is not stealing, it's a civil matter. Did you go back to the store? I leave go back to 7-11 and they say nope no refund and called the cops on me. They say you can't do this, you have to dispute the charge. When calling Amex they say when disputing a charge step 1. Try to rectify with the retailer first. (Not what police say) 2. We will remove the charge temporarily. We will give the store a chance to prove this dispute is not fraudulent. If they can show that you tapped or chipped the card, the charge will be put back on your card.

It's no wonder this corporation is struggling and closing stores. I've transferred all my business to a nearby independent, family owned Pharmacy that has an incredible reputation. They took charge and made the transfer easy. Perhaps upper management for Walgreens should check out more independently owned Pharmacies to experience how an essential care business should be run.
