The Rushville Mcdonalds is Awful. I am a frequent customer in town and have the authority to give this opinion. DO NOT EAT HERE If the drive through line looks long don't bother going inside. The staff wants you to use the automatic Kiosk so they do whatever they can to avoid eye contact hoping you don't make them take your order. When I tried to order it took 6 minutes of waving at employees while standing at the register to get acknowledged and my order entered, 16 minutes later the food came out and it was wrong. I asked for them to make it like I ordered (Without sauce) and they took another 10 minutes to redo it. FINALLY I get the REPLACEMENT sandwich as I ordered it 30 minutes ago and its cold. I am so frustrated after that I had to write this review. Hopefully IF you go here they acknowledge you in a respectful amount of time, hopefully they get your order how requested it, hopefully its warm and lastly hopefully you get it before your lunch break ends. Hopefully I don't have to write many more of these reviews before someone calls them up and tells the management to figure out how to fix this problem. Be prepared for this experience. read more

Stopped in today, 10/5/2025, for the first time since this location has reopened. After the rebuild, we turned around and left and will not be going back. We went on down the road to Hardee's, where they still wait on people at the counter. read more

Every time I get my meal I get the fries thrown in the bag. It may not seem like something too important but I got a meal with an empty fry cup with the fry's smushed underneath all my food. The hot cocoa is literally just warm milk.. ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR OF CHOCOLATE!! The place is clean and I have never had an issue with it. The reviews on this McDonald's are pretty dated. My recent experience was very different. We were traveling from north of Rushville and decided to stop just for a bathroom break and a Diet Coke. The cashier and we assumed a manager, Jason, was probably one of the best, if not the best personalities I've encounter at a McDonald's. He explained some great deals they offered that day and of course we walked out with nuggets and double cheeseburgers! It was a clean, nice place. It is an older McDonald's, so usually it's harder to keep older restaurants looking clean regardless of what they do otherwise. So, if you live in Rushville, you should visit Jason and the crew. He will make your day. He made ours. Wish we had him at our hometown McDonald's. All in all, great and surprising visit. We will definitely stop by on our way through in the future! read more

I drove through town today 2(4/1/021) around 3pm for the first time. I live in Indianapolis and had some business in town. Went to wash my hands in the bathroom which was clean and smelled good. My food was hot and good to include the fact that I asked for a custom double cheeseburger. I saw some VIP looking people in the restaurant and I asked an employee who the people were. They said two were from corporate and the lady was the Franchise Owner- (Vanessa ?) I was told. They were talking about preparing to have the store reopen for sit down service after over a year being closed due to the Covid Virus. I was impressed the team's cooperation with each other and customer service through the drive through window. I got my food in a timely manner. If I every drive through town again, I sure to make a stop at this location again. I humbly and strongly suggest that all of you reading this review to do the same. I hate asking at the second window if the coffee comes in large and they tell me small, medium, and large for the sizes. Then I pay for large and don't get one to be told the medium is the largest size for the coffee when I just got told three sizes. Everyone was rude and the person at the first window didn't even say anything when I pulled up but the person at the second window was rude and tried to argue. It's really a hit or miss with who is working. But this place is definitely turning into garbage. Don't argue with customers if they are being told one thing and then get mad when they mention it. I've worked in the fast food service and I know how it can be. But this place fails. read more

I usually do not stop at McDonald's when travelling but in need a bathroom break I decided on a stop here as it was the first place I spotted. Bathroom was ok. Place was packed. Drive thru was backed up almost all the way to the street. Almost all the parking slots were taken. Inside, all the tables were taken. It had been awhile since I have seen a location this busy. Staff was friendly and my cashier sort of me reminded me Sean Penn in the movie Fast Times. Fries were hot, fresh, and tasty. read more

The lady at the window was very rude! I checked the bag when we got it and my McDouble was missing and we told her then she take the bag back in the window to check and fingering all our food then hands it back with the McDouble on top Bc it wasn't in there. I think it was wrong to not trust the customer... like why would I lie about a McDouble? That's so ridiculous and rude. read more

Food was undercooked and not correctly prepped. Asked for fresh hash browns to be made bc of cholesterol issues and they're held in the same bin as the fries which are never clean. Absolutely horrible customer service. In general nasty unkept place. read more
