Stopped here recently during McRib season and got quick and friendly service in drive-thru.

Unreliable hours for supposedly being a 24 Hour drive thru location. Twice this week I put in an order on the app, got to the store and had to cancel the order because the drive thru was either blocked with cones or I was told they were not serving breakfast. This has happened to me several times in the last few months. read more

Hard to communicate with person taking our order. They couldn't hear us apparently. We went to pick up order at the drive thruand they didn't have our soft serve. When we asked for it (although the person at pick up window acted like he didn't know what a soft serve was), this was what we got. Ridiculous, but so pathetic we laughed a lot! read more

First of all I just wanted to say that I WAS a very loyal customer and probably visited this location 2 times a week. There was an incident today where the MANAGER (female) at that location took my order and in doing so gave me the worst attitude EVER! The nastiest attitude and even screamed at me over the speaker. I came around to pay for my order and asked to speak to the person that took my order. Not only did she have me waiting at the window for 5 whole minutes but also didn't want to let me get a word in or listen to what I had to say. I let her know that she was VERY unprofessional and that she needed to treat people better in a nutshell. I wont be going back and getting the word out. Not happy whatsoever this happened!!!! This is the WORST McDonalds. They are so slow I have a pocket in my purse dedicated to coupons they give me when they take forever on my food, order, etc. I ordered lunch at one point, was told to pull off to the side to wait, then my passenger had time to take a short nap before they brought our food out. When she woke up still without food, I had to call them to get them to finally bring it. Yesterday, I went by early in the morning before work and was told they were taking cash only. Okay, I happen to have cash for once. Then I'm told they don't have chicken, bacon, shakes, or smoothies. Why are you open? I go by this morning, again before work, and again cash only, but they have chicken. I order, pull around, and there's a car at the window with a guy OUTSIDE of his car at the service window. This is 3:30 in the morning. This isn't safe. I wait for 10 minutes while he talks to them through the window, then I leave because I have to get to work. This guy yells at me not to leave! I give up! I've tried and tried because it should be quick and easy here. It's the only place open when I go to work, and very convenient from my house, so I've given out plenty of chances, but at this point, I'd rather starve. read more

I am giving one star to the owner of this business. The issue at hand is the bugs specifically the Lantern Flies that are flying through the drive thru windows! The employees are afraid of them and I have seen the employees make no attempt to kill them but back away!! I recently had to reach out of my car window and killed five of them and also had to push a Daddy Longlegger away from the window. The older woman working the window was about to have a stroke because of all of the bugs at her at once! One Lantern Fly flew into the girls register drawer and yes she did scoot it away but it ended up flying into the store! This was a separate instance! We all know that Berks County is having a major problem with these bugs and we all must try to do our part to eradicate them!!! It's gross to think they are sitting on our food or whatever in the store. I brought this to the managers attention and she said that she has addressed it on several occasions with the owner but to date she stated he has done nothing! Her own concern was sort of non existent just saying they are a problem everywhere??!! Yes that's true but we all have a responsibility to do what we can even more so if you are a restaurant ! I really do not want any added protein on my food! I hope this review is read and the owner does something finally about the situation. Like I initially stated this one star is for the owner there are quite a few good employees that work there and they deserve a clean and healthy work environment! read more

I don't get fast food often (only on the go). Also I must say, I don't often review anything online... But my experience was fantastic here. I ordered a lg fry and two egg mcmuffins. Paid for the order, was told to pull forward for a short wait. They didn't have egg mcmuffins at the time so the kind girl working the window comped my meal. Gave me alternative food choices and a free meal voucher. She refused my tip. She displayed professionalism in a situation that would frustrate the best of us. Fantastic. I'll be back. read more
