I stopped here out.of convenience and thinking the person I was getting a sweet for would appreciate some of the flavor options they had. I was intrigued enough by the combos they had to get one for myself and hot dam that's a good donut. I was mind blown to be given a box that the bottom was hot because they were that fresh! "One white duck on your wall So fly away Peter…read moreFly away Paul Power of ten equals nothing at all" (Jethro Tull) There is a small but persistent misconception that Duck Donuts are fried in duck fat! Yes, their vanilla cake-based donuts are fried in hot oil and NOT duck fat. But what makes them unique is that their twenty-eight varieties are made to order right in front of your eyes. You see, the donuts are made by a cool automated process that drops plain donuts into a bin. Then the fun starts when the plain donuts are transformed in front of you with various toppings and drizzles. Bottom line? Your donuts are served hot and fresh for you. Founded in 2006 in Duck, North Carolina, the chain has expanded rapidly from its original Outer Banks location and now operates over 150 locally owned shops across 26 states, Puerto Rico, Canada, Egypt, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. The donuts are reasonably priced, so we paid just $2.65 each for a Blueberry Streusel and Cinnamon Bun donut. They were amazing. We both had a half of each donut last night, and we agreed the Blueberry was the clear winner. Bottom line? If your donut quacks like a duck.....you're in luck!

That Hollandaise! I…read morerecently visited Wyomissing Restaurant and Bakery with two companions, and we had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is a bit more upscale than your average diner--everything was impeccably clean, and the ambiance was very pleasant. My friends both opted for the "All You Can Eat Buffet," which I understand is what this place is famous for (especially on weekends!). Their plates were packed, and the fact that they both went back for seconds speaks for itself--they loved it. I went with the Norway Benedict, and I was honestly blown away. It featured two perfectly poached eggs and smoked salmon on English muffins with a very generous serving of Hollandaise sauce, accompanied by a side of home-fried potatoes. The presentation was beautiful, the taste was excellent, and I truly can't think of a single thing that would have improved the dish. Service Highlights: * Attentive Staff: Our server was great--present when we needed drink refills but never intrusive. * Efficiency: They were quick to clear empty plates rather than letting them sit on the table, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

All the pastries are homemade even my toast tasted like they made it there which they probably did. The place could've been a little bit more updated, not the best ambience but if you want a good brunch, this is where to come! No four seater booths.

I'm so glad I did. Holy options! The prices are great. We loved the platters from the restaurant in the back. Didn't be intimated by the line, just pull your number and wait. It goes by fast. Lots of food and reasonably priced. There is Carb Central that not what's it called, but I'm calling it that. The soft pretzels and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. We had donuts too. Go hungry! Wander through the aisles and the sheer number of vendors will stop you in your tracks. Choices range from farm fresh, homemade, and hand-crafted salads and desserts to local vegetables and ripe seasonal fruits. You'll find fresh poultry and smoky BBQ, poultry pieces and platters, and a full lineup of beef, pork, veal, sausage, and lamb. Add in PA Dutch baked goods still warm from the oven, fresh squeezed juices, gourmet coffees and specialty teas, homemade chocolates, old fashioned candies and snacks, soft pretzels and pretzel wraps, fresh cut lunch meats and cheeses, cream cheese spreads, dairy and eggs, plus organic baking supplies and local honeys--and you've got a marketplace that feels like a feast at every turn. They have a luncheonette, a huge dining room, and offer breakfast all day, lunch and dinner. I picked up some beef jerky, some beef sticks, a bottle of local soda, and some baked goodies.

This review is based solely off customer service and this BOMB pineapple upside down cake…read more I saw some posts on Facebook for weeks about this place. From first glance it looked like just another local shop but it kept peaking my interest. After weeks of seeing good reviews, I finally decided to try it. She was having a sale because of national pineapple upside down cake day. I initially got 3 cake slices because it was either $4/each or 3 for $10. She was very quick to respond to all of my messages and the curbside pick up was seamless. On the way home I decided to try a piece a cake because it looked so good and after one bite I called her right back and asked if I could have 3 more slices! The cake is so moist it has like a little gooey-ness to it so it kind of melts in your mouth. Not too sweet and just overall delicious. Be sure that you really look for the bakery because it is small and kind of hidden off the road. I drove past twice before I saw it. All the dessert options sound and look delicious. I believe they have new items every week based on what customers like or request. Also, preordering is required. Not sure if it's just because of COVID or if that's a regular deal. I plan to go back soon ... by soon I mean in 2 days lol. I also think her hours are Wednesday through Saturday. You will not be disappointed!!!!
