Breakfast this morning after stopping at the Love's for gas. After I filled up, I parked my van properly (talking to you, red Ford Taurus!), it was over to the McD's where I ordered on the app. Table service! A few minutes after making my purchase, breakfast was brought over to me. A proper Egg McMuffin meal with hash browns and coffee. I popped over to the condiments area but the ketchup dispenser was out. And along the way, a straw wrapper and other trash on the ground. Not the cleanest McDonald's but they did make my breakfast properly and the young lady did bring it over with a smile. It was A-OK. This McDonald's is located at a Loves truck stop off of exit 71 from the 85 freeway. The drive thru was packed, decided to park and walk in to use the kiosk to order a quick meal. Ordering was easy but the service was slower than most other McDonald's. They did being me a cup that was not given to me earlier for the fountain drink. Its smaller, not as clean, but I was able to complete my task before heading back on the 85 freeway. read more

This is probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been too. I can almost guarantee you that of it was not in such a prime spot right ofd of the highway and at a gas station where there is a TON of traffic and few other food choices, this place would have closed down already. I assume this is why management does not care and corporate has not closed down this location yet. It's quite a travesty. I've always had bad experiences at this location but today's experience brought out the Karen in me. You may ask: Why do you keep on coming back to this location if you always have a bad experience? As I mentioned above, it's in a great location. I always stop at this has station when I'm traveling between Charlotte and Greensboro because it is a safe gas station/rest stop. There's always a ton of people passing through and at night, it is well lit. It's almost a routine now to stop at this gas station during my travels. Normally, I would go inside and get some Chesters chicken, but today I wanted a frappe, so I hoped for the best. My hopes were soon dashed. I did a curbside order because the drive through and ordering inside is usually a headache at this location. I ordered at exactly 12:34PM and my food arriced at my vehicle at 12:49PM. I gave them the benefit of a doubt, but I should've known when the I asked the girl who brought out my order for ketchup and she looked at me like I was talking to her in a different language. She told me she didn't have any on her. Okay, whatever. I told her it was okay. Maybe it was just busy! It wasn't really. The drive through was pretty empty in the 15 minutes I waited for my food. Maybe they were making my food fresh! Yay for hot, fresh, fries! I opened up the bag and there were no napkins or straws for my frappe and drink. Well... all can be forgiven since the food was fresh right? Nope. The fries were ice cold, the Filet-o-Fish was ice cold, dry, qnd and barely had any tarter sauce on it, and my drink was not even filled all the way. Plus... why does it look like they gave me a drink that was sitting around for 15 minutes already with the ice all melted? To recap... i waited 15 minutes for my food when it was not busy, no napkins, no straws, no ketchup, cold fries, cold sandwich, barely and tarter sauce on that sandwich, warm drink that was not full. I don't even blame the workers. If it's this bad, it's on the management. Time to write a letter to corporate... Karen style. read more

The pink haired girl with piercings taking orders cannot take an order for her life. Messed up every single thing and got the wrong food because of it. Don't know how this girl still has a job, but guess it's just because it's Mcdonald's anyone can work there no matter how much you suck. I don't know if it's because me and my wife are the only ones there or it's because it was late at night, but the McChicken's and burgers we had were the best out of any McDonald's we've been two, and the McChicken's were crispy. They were hot they weren't stale. The bread was soft, and I've overall enjoyed my experience very much they went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you guys. read more

This place is usually speedy, good service. But they advertise open 24 hrs. Their not. Last 2 times went by before work around 2:30am to grab breakfast they were shut down no one there. So don't waste your time going by here to get food after 11:00 pm. I've asked they employees that work next door in pilot why they weren't open and was told they didn't know why they closed. Employees just shut down and left every night. Even restrictions from covid-19 in place they were going 24 hrs. Then they just stopped. They aren't cleaning up or sanitizing the food areas. When I went inside to get the rest of my missing food I was told repeatedly they bagged it already & then all of a sudden they found the correct bag but I was still missing the fries. The McDonald's in supply on 17 near 211 is the best McDonald's I have ever gone to. Friendly workers, clean, efficient and able to handle the morning rush like the pros they are. When I compare it to Other McDonald's there is no comparison. But I am sad to Learn that the location will have to close when the interchange construction begins. Ordered through their mobile app and asked to use cash before arriving at the window. The cashier had processed my order with my card and had the manager come over because I wanted CASH. Told me there was no way to do that (when they have before). I was irritated but went with it. Had to wait while cars behind me got their food. After getting mine and getting home found they didn't put the extra item I paid $2 for on my burger. Called and they wouldn't replace unless I came back today or tomorrow with the sandwich. Pretty good food for McDonalds although things can seem to be pretty bad such as cold fries or other things.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are disgusting. They don't wash out their blenders between orders so you always end up with a surprise of what's going to be mixed in with your drink. Their food is horrible, customer service is severely lacking, and their overall cleanliness gets zero stars as well. I have given them about 6 chances over the last 3-4 months (most of the time I only get drinks) and I have NEVER been satisfied with any part of my experience. read more
