The construction around this location is just awful with trying to get into the location, but that is not McDonald's fault. I just want to note this for anyone reading this review so that they are prepared to circle a bit. Just go through the IHOP parking lot and weave around to get to McD's. Been here 3 times lately for breakfast. Had to wait 15 minutes plus each time. Service is terrible. Don't know what changed. Food is not even marginal when you finally get it. Walked in today and was told to use the touchscreen to order my food. I did. I ordered a small fry, a large drink and a mcchicken with cheese plain with two slices of cheese added. I get my sandwich and it has only one slice of cheese. I ask them to add the second slice of cheese (instead of making a new sandwich) but I ask that they heat it up so I don't have a cold slice of cheese on the already cold (because I've wasted five minutes now) sandwich. They hand me back my sandwich with cold cheese on it. At this point I ask to have the sandwich remade. I get handed a mcchicken sandwich that only has one slice of cheese on it. So back to square one. I go to the register and get handed a new sandwich with two slices of cheese and everything else on it. I ask for a sandwich that matches the one I ordered. See above. I get handed the correct order finally...but it's cold. So I have them microwave it. Ten minutes later I have a microwaved mcchicken sandwich. During the entire process I kept pointing to the receipt and no one seemed interested in it. They just kept asking me what I want on it. I kept saying "please read this" because obviously they weren't able to follow verbal instructions. If your employees and company want me to explain my orders to them then stop telling us to use the touchscreen...or...maybe train staff to read the orders and get the order right the first time. read more

Made a mobile order on the app and set it to curbside, waited over 20 minutes for my order then finally decided to go through the drive through and get it that way. Got directed to the second window where the employee got smart with me and proceeded to tell me how to work curbside as if I didn't already know, knew my number spot before I could even say it and got an attitude when I explained I had been waiting for 20 minutes. (was definitely over that) my bag was just sitting on the counter right behind him and my drink had been sitting so long it barely had any ice left in it. Ordered a Big Mac meal at the drive thru & stressed NO LETTUCE. Picked it up, checked the sandwich & found it had lettuce on it. Took it inside to get a sandwich without lettuce. Got the sandwich without lettuce & watched the server RETURN THE SANDWICH I RETURNED TO THE BIN TO BE RESOLD! When asked if they were really going to do that, the employee just glared. Pulled up to this McDonald's at 11pm and there was a line. Which I understand, so I'm not docking them there. But it took me 32 minutes to have the seven cars in front of me. Being a restaurant manager myself I chalked it up to being short staffed as everyone is currently. But as I pulled up to the windows I counted six employees. One of them leaning up against a counter hanging out. And I know there were people in the kitchen that I couldn't see from the window. I have managed fast casual restaurants in the past, if you can't make a drive through only operation work with 6+ employees than the problem becomes real evident. You have managers that don't care. Do better sand springs McDonald's Ps. My food was also cold by the time I got Home. So I waited 32 minutes in a drive through for a cold burger and fries. I live 2 minutes away. read more

This is probably the worst McDonald's. Nothing against the workers here but they are always out of half of the breakfast menu when I come at around 5-6am It sucks this is the only one near me, but it's honestly worth the extra 7-8 miles to the next one . Then when they do have what im looking for , they leave out multiple items. I once ordered a Fanta online and without asking she gave me a sprite, and she didn't say anything about it until I asked because I noticed the color difference , at that point it's too late for me to give it back because I've touched it . Great drive-thru service! The employees are very friendly and attentive. They don't gripe if you change your order last minute, they're super accommodating! Also, when I order chocolate chip cookies they ask if I'm in a hurry or if I would like to wait for a new batch to come out. Trust me, it's worth the wait for those warm yummy cookies! They'll just have you pull up a big to let other cars through and they'll even bring them out to your car. The only thing (and it has only happened once) is that I think they used the wrong sized lid on my drink because when I picked it up the entire cup broke... Or it might've been too tight... Not sure but regardless, a tricky situation when you're driving... They really need to fix their Golden Arches too, I think they were damaged by the storms... read more

I'm a Sand Springs native and eat here often, unfortunately. This McD has been around since I was a young girl but their service is TERRIBLE. It's a pandemic and they won't even honor their 9+ curbside spot orders. They don't "do that". It makes no sense. If you drive an RV or big rig? Give up and go elsewhere. Apparently unless you want to WALK through the drive-thru, they cannot handle anything involving "personalized" service. Try eating across the street at QT instead. Caramel frappes we ordered were not filled all the way like they should be. The whipped cream was at the bottom of the lid. It was honestly comparable to a small rather than the medium we ordered. They were also very unorganized in the window when we went to get our food. We have had this same issue the several dozens of time we've been here. read more

Once again I find my girls having me get them food from yet another McDonald's. All I can really say is they are consistently inconsistent regardless of the location, but hey, at least they're good at being awful. This time I ordered two double cheeseburgers with two separate fries. They got the fries right, but ended up putting double cheese and forgot the double patty on both. We even had to wait for them to make it, so it's not like they were rushed. Overall, I wish my ladies would wise up and quit eating this garbage, but I suppose I'll have to endure multiple trips for the same lousy food for years to come. just moved to this town and it says open 24/7 but I'm told they are closed every other morning on my way to work in the drive thru. so they are open when they want to be. A remodel doesn't change the lack of desire to keep a clean restaurant or give consistent quality of food. The Big Macs were slapped down in a box not even properly put together. The "special sales" was poured all over it falling off all sides and just a sloppy mess. Tables were dirty and we had to clean one off to sit and eat with the grandchildren all while workers stood around or played around. An owner really needs to start making surprise Visits! My husband had ordered curbside pickup off the McDonald's app, we didn't know that they close curbside pickup at 10:00PM. I hope they have a future update on the app telling people that they close at 10:00PM. Anyways, he gets there and waits at spot #6 and has been waiting there for 45 minutes and hops in the line to tell them about his situation. In the meantime, there was another person also waiting for curbside pickup. The staffs at McDonald's were nice and apologized then gave us our order right away, but when he got back home. He realized they had messed up our order so he obviously had to go back to get our correct order. I did read other people's comments on Yelp and I decided to tell about my experience as well. Orders are always wrong, customer service sucks, makes you pull to the side over a McDouble. The mc ribs where trash from here, they had no sauce on them at all.....the ice cream machine never works, and if your order is wrong they yell at you. read more

Horrible customer service, app ordering never works right, paid 6 for 2 items a double cheeseburger and a medium carmel Frappe and got a free large fries with my app rewards. Paid in the app and got a 4 digit code that gave at the drive thru window 1 the 4 digit code pulled up the wrong order it took 2 managers to try to figure it out and about 15 mins of wait time at window 1 then asked to move to window 2 to pick up my 3 items my food was cold and had clearly been sitting for a bit and my carmel frappe was all melted to the point the whip cream was basically liquid. So that frapee had also been sitting for a bit. I asked if i could please have fresh food, the manager came to that window asked me to look behind me at all the cars, she then looked at me and said i was the cause of all that back up, She then closed the window and locked it while i was still sitting there at window 2 and she walked in the back. To sum it up a 5 min app food pick up turned into 32 mins in the drive thru mostly sitting at the drive thru windows, For 3 food items paying 6 dollars for all 3 items only to receive 3 food items i had to throw away b/c it was cold and i had no clue how long it'd been sitting out and i didn't want to risk getting sick from it. Stopped in for a quick meal as I was traveling west. It's just what you would expect from any McDonald's you would stop in. Same bland food served somewhat fast by tired employees. You know what your going to get before you pull into the driveway, so as long as the store is clean and the staff friendly it's the same everywhere. read more

They did it again. So you order $20 of food and they put six dollars worth of food in the bag. My favorite scam is where you get a large fry and they just dump a small fry in a bigger box. If they weren't interrupting you every time you pause to ask "is that all", they might hear enough to actually get the order correct.
