I am writing to express both my confusion and disappointment regarding an experience I had at Chick-fil-A last night while ordering food for myself and my children. Upon pulling into the drive-thru, I noticed a Tulsa police officer in a squad car ahead of me, waiting to place their order. Out of respect and gratitude for the sacrifices our peace officers make daily, I told the young man taking my order that I would like to cover the officer's meal. To my surprise, I was told I could not do so. When I inquired further, I was given a vague explanation that officers receive discounts and therefore a citizen cannot pay for their meal. This reasoning made little sense to me. If Chick-fil-A is willing to extend a discount to police officers, it seems contradictory to deny a paying customer the opportunity to extend an act of gratitude and cover their meal entirely. Still puzzled, I asked the young woman at the pick-up window about this supposed policy. She admitted she wasn't entirely sure but implied that such a restriction might exist. I then requested to speak with a manager, hoping for clarity. Unfortunately, the manager's response left me even more uncertain. He suggested that there was no such rule preventing me from paying for the officer's meal and that I "just needed to let the order taker know." When I explained that I had done exactly that and was denied, he offered little more than speculation. His demeanor gave the impression that the matter was being brushed aside rather than addressed with professionalism or care. As a customer, I left more confused than before. Worse still, I later spoke directly with the officer, who informed me it was her birthday that evening. To know that I was prevented from extending a small gesture of kindness to someone spending their birthday alone in her vehicle only added to my sense of disappointment. She herself responded that it "would have been awesome," underscoring the missed opportunity for a meaningful act of community appreciation. I sincerely hope Chick-fil-A corporate can clarify its policy on this matter. This was the first time I have ever heard of a fast-food restaurant preventing one customer from purchasing a meal for another. Based on the conversations I had with multiple employees, it seems there is either a lack of clear policy or a lack of training on how to handle these situations. Either way, the outcome was disheartening. What struck me most was when the manager concluded that "no one really buys anybody else's food," implying that such gestures are a rarity at Chick-fil-A. To me, that is not just sad but contrary to the spirit of kindness and community Chick-fil-A often promotes. To prevent a citizen from showing appreciation to a police officer, especially one who risks her life for our safety, feels inconsistent with the values your company claims to uphold. I ask that Chick-fil-A review and clarify its stance on this issue. At the very least, no employee should discourage a customer from paying forward an act of kindness. For me, this was not simply about covering the cost of a meal; it was about honoring someone who serves our community. After a long road trip we stopped to take our kids to eat/play. My two year old is leaping up to the door along with another family coming in at the same time. Then found the doors were locked and dining room is closed by reading the sign on the door. My kids weren't ready for that. We had already ordered on the app on the way (with zero indication of a lack of dining room) so loaded the now crying kids up to go through the drive through. I love Chick-fil-A. I grew up in Alabama and in the South we grow up on God's chicken. I eat at the Tulsa Hills location on a regular basis and I am never disappointed. My husband and I just ate at the 41st Chick-fil-A and I couldn't be more dissatisfied and shocked really. I ordered a regular number 1 like I always do and my husband ate a spicy number 1. I received a spicy chicken sandwich in my regular bag and my husband received a spicy chicken sandwich in his red bag. Both chicken breasts were rubbery! I had to check and see if the chicken was cooked. It was that bad. Again. I love Chick-fil-A. I'll go back a million more times in my lifetime. I'm a lifetime consumer. I'll just never visit the one on 41st. The drive through lane is chaos. The curbside pickup line is confusing. This store has a systemic problem with getting salad dressings to the customer with the salad. About 30-40 percent of the time, they do not put the salad dressings into the bag with the salad. It is infuriating to say the least! They just cannot get it right. read more

Chick-Fil-A is one of my go to places for a healthy quick meal. Don't get me wrong, you can totally go all out on the calories here with yummy ice cream, milkshakes, and the full leaded deep fried versions of everything, but I usually get either the Grilled Chicken Sandwich or the Grilled Nugget meal which can have a fruit cup side instead of the waffle potato fries. The waffle potato fries here are truly something special though if you are not as concerned about calories. On the note of calories, the menu has the calorie count of every item next to it on the menu so you can make a more informed decision. I have to say that one of the major reasons I come to Chick-Fil-A for chicken (when realistically most places have decent chicken at a lower price) is the dipping sauces!!!! From polynesian to sweet and spicy sriracha to Chick-Fil-A to smokehouse barbecue to ranch and many more, the sauces here will knock your socks off. Usually they give you extra on the sauces too so I always end up having leftover to eat with other stuff I cook or from another place; the stash of Chick-Fil-A sauces in my desk at work is quite impressive. If you are a lemonade fan then you must come here to try the super tangy sweet blend that Chick-Fil-A has mastered. If you're watching your calories, there is a very tasty diet version of the lemonade sweetened with splenda. They have pretty good freshly brewed tea here also which can be tasty mixed with the lemonade. The service here is always great too. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the fact that it's a Christian company or they just have an amazing training program, but you will never have friendlier people serve you than the young men and women at Chick-Fil-A. The most polite people I have met, even the ones that have to stand outside and take orders on the tablet during peak hours in the cold or heat. Last but not least, every year around Christmas time Chick-Fil-A puts out the Cow Calendar for the next year and it comes with not only a hilarious monthly portrayal of funny cow pics with a theme but also a Cow Calendar Card that gives you a free treat that changes each month throughout the next year. I'm not talking just a free drink (though sometimes that is the treat) but like full 8-count of nuggets or sandwich etc. I've been getting these for my family for Christmas for years and it's great because I always enjoy the funny calendar and look forward to trying new things or getting old favorites for free each month. read more

So politics aside, I love Chick-Fil-A. I love their chicken nuggets, waffle fries, chicken minis, ice dream and their polynesian sauce. Their ice cream is probably one of the best soft serve ice creams out there!! The chicken nuggets are amazing and the best out there! They are also used in the bfast chicken minis - sweet soft bread (almost like a mini hawaiian roll with a breaded chicken nugget inside is the best combination for breakfast!! Waffle fries that are not in any other fast food restaurant and the only other restaurant that carries them to my knowledge if Bros. Houligan; so yay for being different!! Now that they have the mobile app, I can place my order in advance and when I get there, indicate on the app "I'm here!" so they can freshly prepare it right then. This way, it avoids a potential long wait time for the line or receiving food. The employees are usually kids who are super friendly and very nice and they always make sure your order is correct. The currently have a season drink - Watermelon Mint - in lemonade or tea. The Watermelon Mint Lemonade is fantastic - the mint and watermelon cuts a lot of the tartness of their original lemonade and I love the pink color! read more

I ordered a chicken biscuit meal with hash browns and instead received a bacon egg and cheese english muffin and chicken nuggets. The bag containing my order was sealed with the sticker and has the correct order on the front but the items inside were not correct.
