This McDonald's really went above and beyond. The management was on point, and the service was great!

This is a very good McDonald's location. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food met my expectations.

From the second we entered the store, my wife and I agreed this was the best McDonald's we've ever been to (I'm embarrassed to say, we probably visit McDonald's 8 times a week) Our two year old daughter is obsessed with Halloween and this location went all out with their decorations. The whole time we were there she kept pointing out different decor and smiling so big. The workers were all incredibly nice and went the extra mile to make our experience great, including giving my daughter a small cup of m&ms as we were leaving. Outside of the special experience, the store was spotless, our food was delivered quickly, and everything tasted great. We couldn't have had a better time. read more

This was the worst McDonald's experience ever. I went there so excited to get my breakfast. It was 10:45 and I was like just in time I get there. I order my breakfast and you know what they tell me. They told me that they're no longer serving breakfast. They're going to lunch. I'm like it's 10:45. Why aren't you serving breakfast? Literally the WORST McDonalds. It's astounding that a place like this, with an aggregate review of 2 stars spanning 10 years is still in business. I ordered a simple cheeseburger, small fry and coke. Drove 3 min to my destination and opened my meal to find cold fries with no ketchup and (here's the kicker) a NO CHEESE, one pickle, one light squirt of ketchup and mustard, 5 onion, broken bun, luke warm burger. Nothing dramatic. It's McDonald's, they do everything the exact way that other McDonald's do; you either like what they have, or you don't. Just make sure you always ask for napkins, and you have to be specific about ketchup. If you ask them for, "Some," you'll get two. I got pretty irritated today. No napkins for a twenty dollar order. Nice that there is a McDonald's in Seaside if you are staying in Cannon Beach. I was tired of eating fish and chips and we just got some fast food here. Don't expect great service here though. The guy in the drive through wouldn't let me change the coupon that I wanted to use after 2 seconds. Then he lectured me that I couldn't use two coupons. He totally misunderstood me because I just wanted to swap out the coupon that I had used instead of using the original. Whatever. Not a big deal. I was taking a nightly stroll with my friends very hungry at 11:40 then to my surprise when I get there at 11:45, they were closed even though they close at midnight and I was really in the mood for fries so here I was frieless in the middle of the night. Then in the morning when I thought my day could just maybe be turned around by a Mc griddle it was soggy. It was disgusting. It was vile it ruined my whole morning. I was so angry. After I thought a coffee across the street would improve my mood but due to my furious encounter I failed to look both ways and was almost hit by a car, now that wasn't your fault. It was my fault, but maybe it could've been prevented if I had some goddamn fries so I wouldn't have to get something to improve my mood. 4 stars for fast and friendly service. You know what you're getting if you choose to eat here and this place was just like the rest of them... except the staff here was efficient and friendly. A manager checked to see if I had been helped after I had. There is ample parking outside for RVs and larger rigs - and finally, there was a clean restroom without a passcode on it to wash my hands. Quite possibly among the most expensive McD's in the USA outside of Alaska, Hawaii, and maybe NYC. As far as the food -- OK, it's McDonalds, and it's very consistent (as McD's almost always is, which is one of the strengths of McD's overall; you know what to expect and you generally get it). But the prices at the Seaside location are beyond absurd. $4.59 for a double cheeseburger? $6.39 for a QPC? $5.39 (I think it was) for a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit? (And these are all a la carte prices, not a meal combo.) I can look at the app to see the prices in Hillsboro, a 65 mile drive inland to the Portland area, and the prices are pretty much 30% lower. That reduces the labor cost argument, as labor costs and the minimum wage are *higher* in the Portland metro than they are here on the coast. No, ownership here is ripping us off and imposing a massive "tourist tax", I think. When I can get a BOGO from the app, I MIGHT consider this place. Beyond that, the prices are horrible and I can get better stuff from local businesses for close to the same price. and support local small business owners in the process. The service and the people are good enough, and food consistent with McD's standards, which is why it gets a second star. But the prices here are so ridiculous that 2 stars is as high as I can go. That said, this makes me giggle because I don't think many people consult Yelp before going to McDonald's. But yeah -- ripoff. read more

Definitely wouldn't recommend. We got in late for our stay at Canon beach and on the way through Seaside stopped at McDonalds thinking we could get some chicken nuggets to at least enjoy since we had missed our Italian dining experience. However, the nuggets here were frozen tasting slightly and undercooked. They were not crispy in any way and truly disappointing. I only ate it because I had no choice once we reached the hotel. read more

Let's be honest. It's Friday at 9:10. The guy at the pay window was nice. Literally the rest of the staff doesn't know how to do their jobs. I know covid is hard, but at least train the employees well enough to be able to relay info and take orders. Without a doubt the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The drive through is badly designed and cars often stretch across the parking lot in different directions thinking they are in line but mostly just blocking traffic. Service is very slow... I just waited at the window for eight minutes for two regular hamburgers. That's it, just two regular hamburgers. Nothing special, no tricky order, no holding the onions, no counting the sesame seeds on the bun, no checking to see how special the special sauce is. Just two hamburgers. People are friendly... But I don't know if it's poorly managed or understaffed or both, but no wonder McDonald's in general is in a negative slide. So, if it's this bad I bet you are wondering why I keep coming back. An excellent question. Because, simply, they are the only drive through burger joint in town, especially a drive through that serves breakfast! So, much like many of the other poor to marginal restaurants in town that survive by relying on tourists to maintain their existence despite sub standard food and service, this McDonald's just keeps plugging along. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 mcchicken, a #1 meal and 2 sides of fries. This is what she rung us up for (notice that the 2 sides of fries are not present). When we got our food, we had 2 mcchickens, 1 cheeseburger, and 0 fries. Then she rung us up on a separate transaction for a fry because she realized that she forgot to ring in the fries but our Big Mac meal came with a fry. So when all the food came out, we literally had nothing that we had paid for. McDonald's always get a bad rap; which is not fair. We don't have kids, so we only go when we are looking for a quick lunch or needing a soda (all sizes, $1). The staff here were polite; even through they were very busy. The location has been remodeled over the last few years, and offer several alternatives in seating; which we appreciate. They have a flat-screen TV with sports on; not a bad touch. We'll be back when in a hurry and in town. read more

My husband stopped in yesterday evening (May 31st 2018) to get our food we had ordered. First off, they charged us 3 times, then proceeded to tell my husband that they "lost" our order and couldn't give us the food they charged us for. Mind you, he was speaking to the MANAGER, who was being rude. Instead of trying to fix the problem, when my husband showed them the order, they just rudely turned him away. The Seaside McDonalds is by far the best McDonalds experience I have ever had! Now, I don't love to admit I have an addiction to McDonalds food but, I do. Every time I go there I use the drive through and the employees are just the happiest people. Happy to help you, happy to see you, happy to be working, I seriously have no idea how they all are so happy. Maybe they are happy because they eat the food there - if that's the case then I may never stop eating at McDonalds. Side Note: The drive through microphone is in a very unexpected location, before you reach the menu, so every time I drive by it and then a car pulls up behind me and I can't back up and order so I have to pull forward and the window employees are surprised to see me.... but still they take my order with a smile and don't even act like I have inconvenienced their line/order. read more

Had the hotcakes and sausage for breakfast, which I always get. The store has kiosks as well as a cashier. I started using the kiosk, and realized it was taking longer than dealing with a person, so I cancelled the order so that I could order from a person.
