30+ years and this place is still standing! It's still in the same corner but it's rebuilt over in some type of mini food court. Ordered the large sized cinnamon and sugar elephant ear and it came out hot and fresh within minutes. It was crispy, chewy and tasty. Just like how I remembered it. Used to be a must-stop for us every time we came to town. Hasn't been opened the past 3 times we've come. Hours posted online stated closed Tues & Wed, but open every other day at noon. Went at noon on Thursday - Building was open for the Taqueria restaurant next door, but Elephant Ears still closed. Had a QR code with online ordering available saying could pick up at 12:30pm same day. Thought for sure they'd be open by then, so we waited. Never opened. Left town around 2pm Thursday and still wasn't open. Very disappointed and let down as this has been the case for the past 3 times we've been in Seaside. I was so excited to see the sign at "we're all ears"indicating what was sold at this adorable historic building in Seaside! The last time I strolled down Broadway there it was after dark. Anyway I had not tasted an elephant ear in like...a decade, and had a couple fellow tourists with me to share it with. So yes! Elephant Ear! I ordered the lemon & powdered sugar with strawberries for toppings. After some fun conversation, dessert was ready on a plate to go. After first bite the flavor was definitely there, but unfortunately the pastry was not what you want when you order an elephant ear. Instead it was just like the breading on fish when you order fish & chips at a restaurant and kinda greasy and crunchy like a fried taco salad shell... not an elephant ear! So sad, oh well. The servers were nice and all seemed to be working hard. There was a big line yesterday. Lots of things on the menu were unavailable. Like I tried to order the jumbo and they couldn't so I had to order two smaller sizes which added a few dollars onto the order for the same amount of food. Unfortunately, mine was so slathered in butter the middle was unbeatable. It is hard to tell in the pic but there was a pool of butter in some parts that I tried sopping up with paper towels but there was waaay too much. Ear wax (combo of two toppings) with the snowflake and the Dutch baby toppings was good. I liked the snowflake better (I'm a sucker for powdered sugar), and while the Dutch baby was tasty, it had too much syrup in the middle, so it became rather too sweet (and a bit too bold in lemon flavor) in the end. Constantly behind, can't do the bigger size elephant ears every time we've stopped by, just seems like the guy making everything needs more help because he is hustling and I respect that and comes out good. I only drove by last weekend and saw you were closed when your online ordering system said you were open. I thought about ordering online but then you were closed, so not sure how that would've turned out. You clearly didn't understand my review and are quick to make me the bad guy. Our elephant ear falling on the ground, due to the wind, happened literally right as we opened the door to leave, it was obviously not eaten. And we only asked for a new plate after this happened, not an elephant ear. We were not offered a replacement whatsoever. In fact, we didn't even stay to have a discussion on the incident. Very disappointed in your response to my review, I also don't take kindly to being called a bully when no such thing happened. This place is amazing hands down. My brother and I come up to visit our family about every month or two and make a special trip just to have an elephant ear and in hopes to see the manager Sean! As well as the staff has always been so sweet, amazing crew members!! No matter how slammed it is in there Sean always makes an effort to be friendly and chit chat with us. Excellent service to say the least. Always a welcoming place to go and always spot on with the food. And if you are worried that these won't fill you up, believe me, you'll be full with just the classic size, the jumbo size is giant!! We have been stopping here for years and today we had the worst customer service. Mind you it's summer and hot out. We ordered one elephant ear and a bottle of water. The young woman behind the counter was very rude. We simply asked for the bottle of water we had bought and was told "I already told you, you'll get your stuff when your number is called" and rolled her eyes. Not worth the price. $8.95 for a small ear.(about 7 inches). Ok, that's fine. But when I order a cinamon and sugar with a carmel drizzle, she asks if I want cinamin and sugar on both sides..... "sure". Then she asks if I want whipped cream..... "sure". There is no mention on the menu about how much "deluxe" toppings cost, or what the charge is for cinnamon and sugar on both sides. Turns out it's $2 extra for carmel drizzel, $2 extra for a couple squirts of whipped cream, and an extra $1 for cinnamon and sugar on both sides. So $8.95 turned into $13.95 real quick. They did not have decaf coffee, no nonfat milk, but did have a few sugar free syrups so I gave it a try and decided to suck it up and have caffeinated late in the day. I had already been standing in line for about 10-15 minutes so I ordered it caffeinated instead of not having anything at all. I didn't try my coffee until I walked down the street a ways. There was no taste and it didn't even smell like coffee! I felt like it was more like a steamer. I am pretty sure there actually was no coffee because I should have been wide awake 4 hours later but I was falling asleep. I will never stop there for coffee again nor anything else. read more

Normally I love stopping here when visiting seaside, it's very hard to find establishments that offer these delicious treats year round. My wife loves these things. We can't go to the beach until we have one in hand. This place has always been a cute small stop. However this time my opinion has changed. There were two young men and a young girl working the booth. One of the younger guys was polite enough, whereas the other two looked like they were annoyed to have customers flowing in paying their salaries. The girl couldn't remember anyone's order, though moments before they were placed. Once we entered the store there was a large line of other elephant ear enthusiasts. Some guy was pissed others were standing in line because I guess that massive line was for pick up, not ordering. The employees could clearly hear him saying this. So instead of having folks form two lines it was this chaotic mess of confusion. People getting places stolen in line, frustration etc. My wife and I went up to the register as told by the customer. To which we received attitude and that oh-so charming annoyed tune. The place was so jam packed, there were no social distancing measures in place whatsoever. Not everyone was wearing a mask. The kitchen are looked messy, as did everyone's hands. The grease bath definitely looked tired like it needed to be changed. There were several chunks of coagulated brown sugar and cinnamon chunks in the sugar bin for coating the ears. It just looked gross. It's just sad to see this place falling to the wayside like that. I get it, life is difficult right now for many, but don't take it out on customers. At least you have people boosting your local economy. It's not hard to explain to customers where you want them to be and how your new system works. read more

Yes. Their pay option system can improve. And even though I've been here several times, I always forget their card-less. But their elephant ears are so good! I come to Seaside for the elephant ears. I don't know any other place but a seasonal fair that has a permanent year round open location. If you decide on one flavor, no worries! You can get half-half, or a forth of different flavors. Totes love. There's some places where you should weigh in the hospitality, expierence, and ambiance. But, you go here for the primary reason of getting that elephant ear in your Spring Break diet. So my 4/5 stars is based on their delicious elephant ears. So good! read more

I never do this, and i have always loved their elephant ears! I don't know if there are new owners, but a lot has changed and not it a good way. There are 2 sizes now, which is fine. They charge extra for putting cinnamon sugar on BOTH sides, and didn't tell us... what?! That has never been a thing in the past. When I received my elephant ear, there was barely any cinnamon sugar, and it was mostly grease and oil, and was dripping, I could barely eat half. I have always loved this place and I don't know what happened but I was very disappointed especially as a seaside resident, and lover of we're all ears. read more

As a family we absolutely love We're All Ears, delicious elephant ears in Seaside, OR. We've been coming to Seaside for over 15 years and almost never have left without at least one visit to our favorite dessert indulgence. We've watched prices go up from $4.95 (maybe $3.95?) to the current $6.95, but they're worth it, right? And the recent cost of goods bump, along with inflation and increased wages has affected everyone. Still worth it, until tonight. Two of my (now adult) children and I were ready to order, already anticipating the mouth-watering decadence we have grown to love. We placed our order and I added a 20% tip, just out of gratitude that we could still get our elephant ears. So they called out our order and it was not correct - or not as we expected. The Classic - cinnamon and sugar was, well, classic. It's actually 3 toppings because they brush it with butter so the cinnamon and sugar will stick. The 2nd one with chocolate/pb was beautiful, perfect. The 3rd one with raspberry/pb was split with one topping on each side. Weird, so I asked them to fix it. That's when we discovered the problem. The menu has one called Ear Wax - your two favorite toppings. That's what I've been ordering for 15 years. Last year I asked if I could pay extra to get 'heavy' toppings. The quick reply was, "You don't have to pay extra, just ask and we'll do it for free!" So I explained that I wanted PB&J on the whole thing. I was told I had ordered Ear Wax which was 2 toppings split, one on each half. The menu hadn't changed, it still said 'Yourntwonfavorite topoings', so what that meant had changed? Without telling us? I was told they could add that but would have to charge me $1.50 for an extra topping... Huh? And I gave them a $4.47 tip? Then I checked my receipt, only to discover that I had already been charged an extra $1.50 for the choco/pb because of the 'extra' topping. Oh, because I didn't ask for Ear Wax, I just stated the 2 toppings I wanted. Hm, what to do? Did they change their menu and policies without changing their menu? Do we never come back for another elephant ear in protest, thus abandoning our long-lasting family tradition in Seaside? I guess I could bring my own raspberry jam from home and add it later to save $1.50... Or maybe give a smaller tip to cover the 2 extra toppings we'd have to pay for. Well, thankfully we don't have to make a decision until next year when we return to Seaside. I'm going to start saving as soon as I get home! read more

Just wipe out the entire menu and focus on making "ears" instead. I haven't tried the ears but for a business called "We're All Ears", one can only assume that it's their specialty and nothing else. Both my friend and I were in serious need of some caffeine, and We're All Ears was the first place we saw that had coffee and other caffeinated drinks on their menu. I ordered a latte with soy and my friend ordered a regular coffee. Leave it to two 15-year-old boys who probably have never had coffee in their lives to make our drinks.. Latte: Half the cup was foam, and it was extremely hot. I asked for a protective sleeve and they gave me a bunch of napkins instead. What kind of place that sells hot drinks doesn't have sleeves? I guess this one.. Coffee: Basically, burnt water. My friend asked if there was any cinnamon available to sprinkle into her drink. The two kids working in the back looked confused and told her they didn't have any. Both drinks ended up being trashed, which means $7.00 in the bin. read more

I would definitely get no bacon next time, just because it's too much salt and smoky flavor, but the maple was AMAZING - it was a maple bar on steroids.
