Food was ok tonight but when you go to a McDonald's and give them your order the first time. Usually the worker takes the order not at this McDonald's you have workers that don't speak English well working at the drive thru but then you have an American speaker to work the front of the restaurant where is the logic there? You would think they would hire English speaking people that can take a code after one time ok I get it if you don't hear me once ok I get that but I said the code 5 damn times how hard is that. read more

So this is just based on the drive-thru experience. The line made it out of the parking lot, but cars were moved along pretty quickly. So quickly, I didn't even have time to look at the menu (which gets covered up so you can preview your order) between the car in front of me and my own order. McDonald's - the front of a mcdonald's restaurant - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Seymour, Connecticut

I don't eat at McDonalds very often, but we were on a road trip for the holidays and needed to eat somewhere quickly and options in town were pretty limited. The drive-thru line looked really long, so we parked and ordered inside and had our food in 5-10 minutes. Like most McDonalds, they have the automated kiosks to order (although I think this takes longer than ordering with a person since you have to go through a lot of screens to get to your final selection). It's nice to be able to pay with ApplePay though at the kiosk. I got their special Bacon Smokehouse Burger and it was actually really good. The bun tasted almost like a brioche roll, and not your typical white burger bun that you get with their regular burgers. The bacon and the crispy onions also were great. I'd definitely get this burger again. I didn't find the fries to be anything special - they were a bit on the limp/soggy side. Overall, I'd come back to this McDonalds again for takeout or to eat in - you can also order via the Mobile app and then pick it up, which is probably much faster than the drivethru. read more

After a long day of work I just wanted some fresh hot fries from the golden arch. But when I arrived the drive thru line was extremely long so I used the McDonald's app to mobile order since the inside was closed. After 20 minutes of waiting, still no order, and the drive thru line even longer I go up to the door to try to get someone's attention to get me my order of course they say there closed. Like no crap I have eyes and of course they cant get me and 2 others mobile order because that is "to much work". The food isn't even that great 1/2 the time so definitely go to another location. read more

This is one of my favorite places, not just for the food but since they had redone the whole place they had added outlets and even a couch. This makes it so much better to hangout there or even just do schoolwork. They now are having family nights, every Tuesday. Bring your kids to McDonald's on this day. It starts at 2pm-4pm and they'll have something fun for your kid(s) to do. My niece had gone last week and got her face painted , it was so cute. read more

I went in the drive-through and as soon as I pulled up they had an attitude they always have an attitude every time I go to this McDonald's and it's time that I made a review about it because this place sucks... I didn't even get half of my order, then they they claimed that I didn't pay for it when I literally had the receipt and I showed them- literally last time I order from that McDonald's, they where extremely rude.. even the manager is rude. It's like they don't care about their job it's like they're half asleep like seriously..... all I want is food. I'm not one to review fast food joints, simply because I dont eat the food, but I'll make an exception here. The staff here is awesome. The staff knows their customers. Often I have been able to walk in and I've had my coffee ready for me as soon as they see me. (you cant beat a buck for good coffee in the morning!) & I've seen this for several people that come in before or after me. every weekday in the AM they have the same group of older gentlemen in the corner discussing their weekly news or politics or reminiscing of the ways it used to be and in the other corner you'll have the other couple of customers reading the paper enjoying their breakfast. This is just a very comfortable place that even though its a fast food joint the staff and consistent customers make it feel homey. thank you for making my trek into work in the early AM a little more bearable. :) read more

There is nothing to say about the food, you all know what to expect with that. My beef (haha) with this location is that if you get in the drive thru you can't get out. A few times my husband and I have let the late night sweet tooth get to us and have come over for a McFlurry or a shake (you know, since there's nothing else in the Oxford/Seymour area especially open past 8) and we get in the drive thru to be told they don't have McFlurries or shakes (It's happened three times. Maybe they should look into this). Alas, this is also a very slow location. And so we are stuck going through the slow drive thru without the promise of something sweet for our troubles. So I normally wouldn't bother reviewing a McDonald's but this has irked us enough times it seemed worth mentioning. read more

It's there for you if you like lukewarm food tasting of salt and grease, and occasionally metallic tasting nuggets. I don't know if McDonalds has gotten worse as I've aged or if I'm just less hungry. It's kind of depressing the line of cars constantly at the drive-through window here. However their wifi is decent. I've sat in my car in the parking lot when I needed to look something up real quick. Yet, there are no outlets in the dining room to enjoy this redeeming feature for very long. Huh. read more

This is probably the worst McDonald's I have ever been too in my my life. Like honestly how bad can it get here. Any chicken meal I order the chicken is rubbery and cold and has hard spots and looks purple in some areas. And then one time I go through the drive through and while the employee is handing me my change she drops all the coins onto my expense car. I let it slide because my cars protected by a ceramic coat and it left no scratches but please lady watch what your doing. And the food always takes forever to get to you it's like they are sleeping in there. My buddy found a hair in his burger once too and after that I've stopped going. DO NOT COME HERE FOR FOOD! The service in the drive through is very slow no matter what time of day I've been there. Also, lately I have been receiving the wrong burgers yet being charged for the burgers I ordered, which are more expensive than the ones they give me. I've given this McDonald's several chances since moving to the area a year ago, but every time it's the same story. The drive thru is inexcusably slow, clocking in at 20-30 minutes each time. I've waited as long as 6 minutes at the order station before finally hearing, "How may I help you" on the other end (there was only one other car ahead of me, by the way). The last time I was there I ordered a chicken sandwich, and after opening the carton, I instantly saw that they only gave me half of the bun. They deliberately set a chicken breast on cardboard and then stacked everything else on top. Does this sort of thing really happen by accident??? That was the last straw for me. I can only hope McDonald's catches wind of how bad this restaurant is and does a clean sweep. read more

Went to drive thru for breakfast. The cashier kept reading our order back wrong. So when we went up to the window to confirm again and she gave us lots of attitude for asking again. She said she had it right but the food we got was wrong. We are already on the road and tried to call to complain and we got the fax machine. That's what you get with fast food places especially when you use the drive thru. It's not the first time either.
