I tried to give this location a couple of chances, I was even shocked when they had Pokemon cards left. But after visiting this McDonald's a few times, I realized why they still have the Happy Meal Toys when it's sold out everywhere else - no one wants to come here. They only have 1 person at the cashier, and you need to wait a few minutes before anyone comes to help you. While waiting for my order, I've seen customers complain about missing items (e.g., no lids for cups) within the 5 minutes I was behind the pickup counter. The drive-thru is a mess because there's always construction; seems like the only McDonald's location that can't get their act together. read more

This MacDonald's gets 3.5 stars. I have been here a few times when I'm in Stouffville. I have both dined inside and used the drive-thru. Today, I did the latter. I don't recall it having two lanes, so it must have happened within the year. Service is quick and my order is accurately delivered. This morning, I wanted the sausage McGriddle combo. Probably one of the worst locations I've ever ordered from. I ordered the spicy mcnuggets, big mac and fries via app. Order was very slow and food was cold and not to my expectations. Clean and spacious, but I suppose all the suburban McD's are similar. We hung out at this one for a few minutes watching the Detroit muscle cars exit the car show on Sandiford Dr. onto Stouffille's main 'drag'. Watching this was jaw-droppingly sublime: the sounds of cherry bombs and glass packs, the smell of race gas, chirping of tires, jangling of ladder bars, and the colours, cherries, yellows and red and purple candies all made for a memorable strip 'up north'. The McD's had a small patio with gorgeous hanging flowers and piped in musak for the patrons' enjoyment which was a nice touch. Ample parking and McFlurries, as good as it gets :) read more

Very slow service when using the drive through. My last time in the drive through took 20 minutes to get a classic Big Mac meal.

This McDonald's is the very worst McDonald's that I've ever been to ever! From their snail paced "service," to their managerial confusion, I highly recommend that people of Stouffville take their business elsewhere. Their managers enjoy talking back to their disgruntled customers and are unfortunately blinded to the fact that everybody in their small town share the same frustrations. One would think that because they're in the service industry, that they would actually smarten up and truly objectively consider why their customers get frustrated by their inaccurate and poor "service." Instead however, they decide to argue with their own customers and at times with each other about their extreme flaws. I highly recommend that all Stouffville residents take their business elsewhere. I mean, there's only so much poor service that one can put up with, and quite frankly, I've personally experienced poor "service" from this particular McDonald's more often than not. I will definitely be contacting McDonald's head office about one of their "managers" in particular about their extremely horrible judgement and poor customer relations. This particular manager most definitely needs to get off their high horse and remember that all it takes to be a decent manager is to objectively consider their customers' point-of-views and to proact to the situation. Rather, this person tends to posture-up and argue as if they're still in elementary school. Unbelievable! While the staff here are nice and friendly, this is probably the slowest McDonald ever. Ever since we put in the self-serve kiosh, the service has gotten even slower than before. It's jammed packed in the morning. It took 10-15 mins to get a latte. And when you order muffin and coffee, the order goes in a long queue with all the orders of eggs and such. Even though your coffee has been made and sitting there, they cant just grab you the muffin and send you on your way, you have to wait and wait. This morning it took 15-20min just to pick up a coffee and muffin to go. How is this fast food???? All the drinks are made and piled up there, waiting to be paired with the rest of the order. One of two McD's in Stouffville (the other is in the Walmart). Parking ample, interior roomy. Gets a big crowded around dinnertime around the cash registers but that's expected. Service a touch slow but probably due to it being a busy time of day - still, not too bad. Ordered a few things, including one with a coupon. No problems with the coupon, and the counter girl was very cordial and efficient. Of course there's always something that goes wrong - in this case a dip was forgotten. Oh well - everything else was ok, so not a bad experience overall. Except that craptastic feeling I get from the heavy grease in the pit of my stomach when I'm done.. I don't do McDonalds often - it's just nasty stuff - but I know what I'm getting into, and in comparison with some of their other restaurants, this one isn't too shabby.. read more

I go there for the coffee. I won't eat because they march the garbage through behind the counter and don't always wash their hands after. Only time service is quick is when a senior employee is there and things get done. The women's washroom is atrocious, toilet paper all over and toilets you don't want to flush for fear of it over flowing. There was a dirty diaper in the change station for 3 weeks. Tables and benches more often than not need to be cleaned before sitting down. And they need some kind of window covering to filter the sun. It's blinding! And to boot, they shouldn't be sweeping around the table or emptying the garbage right beside you when you are eating. Too bad the health department doesn't work evenings. read more

The food is what you expect. Standard McDonald's stuff. But the staff are making A LOT OF MISTAKES with the orders. I am not just a random guy passing by this store for one time and complaining about my order not done right. I worked next door to this store for six years and it's safe to say that 8 out of 10 times they get something wrong in your order. If you order in the Drive Through, MAKE SURE TO CHECK INSIDE THE BAG, otherwise, there is a good chance that you drive away with the wrong/missing items.
