This is probably the most casual McDonald's I've ever been to. I mean it in the sense that nobody really seems like your order is a priority. I've had quite a few times where I was the only order waiting and people were just chilling and having fun while i stood there waiting. Eventually they figured out there was an order. I don't know how things work but it just feels weird that I can watch the whole crew having a great time so often. The food is fine still so the wait is the main issue. I guess just be careful that orders might be a bit slow at times. I've been lucky to avoid rushes but I would think they're better about it then slow times. read more

Congratulations McDonalds! At 10:00 pm April 21st 2024 this was by far the worst burger (1/4 pounder) at McDonalds I have ever had in my entire life! It was like chewing on a piece of shoe leather? Went there April 30, 2022 about 2pm. Men's bathroom smelt like a barn. Wife reported that in women's 1 stall was plugged, other had used tampons and napkins on the floor because of no garbage can. Hand soap was empty. Wrote a review on McDonald's site, got a "coupon" for a free medium french fries and drink IF I spent the money for a Big Mac or equivalent. "1st Assistant Manager" replied with the usual "scripted" apology on how they have high standards blah blah. Maybe management should check their restaurants. Surrey seems to have the filthiest pig pen restaurants. I got refund, was only having coffee, which after waiting 5 minutes did not get either. Felt my health at risk even being there. Located across from Surrey Central City, beside Canadian Tire. Open 24 hrs, 2 drive thru's. If you're hoping to drop in to use the washroom, you'll need to ask for a key, a new thing here apparently (expect this in DT Van). The nicer decor, McCafe concept. read more

i just ordered food from here off of skip the dishes app. two things: 1) The food delivered was cold, all over the bag and missing items (not the first time complain either) 2) tried telling skip to get a refund and there giving me $16 out of a $40 meal and told me to reheat mcdonalds food.... like eww gross read more

This place is a dump. Crack heads, junkies, homeless abound inside and out. Don't even venture into the bathrooms. Filthy. I visited on May 13th around 2pm. It took 12 minutes to get to the counter with only 5 people ahead of me. The kid working it looked lost. He was filling drinks etc. I ordered 2 burgers, a simple order(not a grill order). Got my receipt and waited. One thing I noticed while waiting was that food delivery ppl came in, (skip the dishes and door dash) got food right off the slide bagged and they were out the door within 2 minutes. While waiting, two people came in who ordered two coffees online. We compared the times on our receipts. Both orders were placed at the same time. After 10 minutes of waiting, I got my burgers. I presented my receipt to the woman who was packing orders and said- "just so you know, this order took 10 minutes" She looked at me with the look of "what the F do you want me to do about it?" or "does it look like I give a ship?" She said nothing. Her eyes did all the speaking. The coffee people were still waiting. I called McDonalds head office to complain about this and was told that I would get a call within 5 business days from the franchise owner. Today June 21.. still waiting. I've called HQ every week saying that I've not had a call. Avoid this dump. Drive thru waits are typically 10-15 minutes. Watch the needles, junkies and homeless walking around. read more

This McDonald's does not know how to run their double lane drive thru. They make you wait at the menu board, the wait for the food can get horrendous. I have had to return with incorrect food several times and often just accept that I am getting lukewarm fries. I don't know if they are understaffed or what, but I feel that they need to review the McDonald's handbook a little better. read more

I went to get order on June 18 around 8 pm and a manager (thin guy)was working without mask and when i told him to wear mask then he used abusing language and when i asked him to talk to their general manager then he went away. I went to pick up my McDonald's breakfast and order a BLT. I ended up getting a bagel with a piece of cheese on it. So not impressed.

Unsanitary! Staff not trained on food safety. Front counter staff grab cups with finger inside the cup and serve the cup to customers. I asked for new cup and said why. They gave me another cup, reused old one, and did the same with the new cup. I Shall report this location to Fraser Health and corporate with further details read more

Don't have enough people cleaning the dining area especially the area with the soda dispenser. More often than not the ketchup is empty and sticky from spilled soda being left for long periods of time. I went for breakfast around 7am and ketchup was empty and the area was a mess. Dining room is not 24hours so there's no excuse for this. Many homeless people sitting outside the restaurant. Not sure if they can get security guards out there but this is a problem. This place is still a mess. Still a place where the city's homeless and drug addled are allowed to hang out outside the establishment. Seen drug deals happen outside. Car pulls up. Guy walks to car window. Gives driver money. Driver gives guy package. Now I know what they mean for 24 hour drive thru. Advertised as a 24 hour joint but closes its doors promptly at 12. read more
