If you're a Vancouverite and have ever found yourself drunk at night anywhere near Commercial-Broadway Skytrain Station, you know the name Uncle Fatih's all too well. The classic mini-chain has made a name for themselves over the years by serving up thick slices of cheesy, meaty and even veggie goodness. Over time, other locations opened up and now there are a few dotting the Lower Mainland - the newest being in Surrey, BC. Located right under the Surrey Central skytrain platform, I can't thank the gods enough for this location. For years I put up with the absolute GARBAGE pizza made by FreshSlice because there was nowhere in the vicinity to grab a quick bite before hopping on a bus or train. When this literal pizza box is busy - place is so tiny that you'll stand shoulder to shoulder with others - service here is rushed and not the friendliest, but at times they are dealing with rude customers, belligerent crackheads, etc. They have 4 or 5 uncomfortable high chairs to sit down and a few seats outside. I usually just get a few slices to go. The last time I was in, I decided to grab one slice of each pizza to go. That made one full pizza. I reheated it at home properly, but they always reheat it for you on the spot if you need. The pepperoni is always a standout at this place, as is the sausage with mushrooms. The potato one is filling, while the Hawaiian is divine with their house made white garlic sauce! The slice that was topped with shredded feta was my least favourite as I found it soggy and not comparable in taste to the others. If you're around the Surrey skytrain stations and want a few slices of great 'za, avoid Fresh Slice at all costs and just come to Fatih's! I heard from the grapevine that delivery can be a nightmare, so if you wanna feed the fam, get takeout and drive home fast! Their pizza is at its best right out of the oven. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Every single time we have come to this establishment, we've had a horrible customer service experience. Th food quality is not as good as the Burnaby and Vancouver/ commercial locations as well. Tonight, we noticed one of the guests ordered all of the beef and blue cheese pizza slices, so we kindly asked if there was more coming. The girl did not check with the kitchen but immediately said it would be 15 minutes; anyways we are waiting there and looking into the kitchen to see what pizzas were being made and the girl approached us again. We told her we were waiting for the pizza and she told us, we have until 12am to make up our mind.. she telling us this at 9:45pm? What kind of person working in customer service says that? So unprofessional and immature. Never going back. We went to fresh slice across the street and the girl there was more inviting. read more

I am in love with this pizza! Whenever I am back in my Vancouver I have to stop by and grab the spicy potato slice! I have to restrain myself from getting multiple slices at once. Sadly, I don't come back to Vancouver often. The last visit I noticed they have opened multiple locations and decided to try the surrey location. Good selection of ready to eat slices. $37 for two pizzas. It is a good item to bring to a potluck or party so that everyone gets to try a different flavour. The only downside is that the slices sit in the warmer until sold so it is not necessarily fresh out of the oven. read more

Anyways i checked online and realized they double charged me for i had paid on both cards! Cheap pricks! Horrible place for customer service. Only reason why I keep calling is because this branch of pizza stores is my favourite since I was 16 and still living at commercial area. But from now on I am never calling this place!!!! Everyone in this place should get fired. Ruining the name. Drivers never read the specific instructions/dips missing, also drivers take ages to come to your door. That is just the drivers. The other employers lie to you. Today, I asked one of the staff member if i can use the washroom, it was about 11pm and there was no public washrooms open around. She was very rude and just said that washrooms are closed. The good - the pizza is awesome. It's the best by slice place in Surrey and second to the one at Joyce Station as my overall favourite pizza places period. The bad and why I only gave 3 stars is the layout and size. The door goes in not out and with how little space there is this is a serious problem. Serious enough I almost want to lodge a complaint to the fire inspector for safety reasons. They should have made it a order by window place with a door to a small seating area if that was even possible. If not just a order by window. It's a joke trying to get inside to get a pizza and a bigger joke trying to get back outside. This serious design flaw will limit how often I go there. If the changed the door to open the other way it would greatly reduce the issues. Staff are friendly. read more

Walk-in pizza by the slice - constant line up of people tells you how good this place is. Generous toppings on your pizza and wide variety of vegetarian and meat lovers pizzas. $5 for 2 large slices and a pop is a great deal. They also delivery and have online ordering but as they are extremely busy, the delivery to my place 10 minutes away took 50 minutes. Walk in is way faster. Excellent pizza. Very tasty. read more

I visited Uncle Fatih at Surrey Central On Feb 21, 2021 about 9:30-9:40pm. I encounter the same cashier within the week who I find in multiple occasions to be unfriendly and even rude. Tonight I asked to be able to use the toilet and got the response "we serve pizza, we are not a public toilet". While we cant control if you don't have a toilet, surely you can at least give a courteous reply to a paying customer. If that matters to you at all. About two nights ago I asked the same server to refill the sauce bringing the container to her. She was chatting too much that I asked 3 times in front of her where the sauce is because she already forgot. When she came to her senses to bring me the container back she didnt even said sorry to acknowledge that I waited long. I am not going to eat here again and will tell my friends of my bad experience. read more

The pizza here is really good. However, the main balding guy usually working the cash register is very rude and treats you as if you're pressence in his shop is an inconvenience to him. Whenever you ask what toppings are on a pizza or how much sides cost he responds as if you're an idiot. I like to support and give shout outs for great businesses that provide excellent products and services for reasonable prices. I have recently found a go to pizza place, Uncle Fatih's. They have a really good pie and the prices are on par with Domino's and other affordable delivery places. They have a plethora of toppings and even roasted potato (surprisingly good as a topping) They put sesame seeds on the crust and it finishes it off nicely. Definitely a superior pie at bargain pizza pricing. If you have one near you, I recommend the try. Tonight Jayden and I are having a medium, beef, ham, tomato, red pepper and feta pizza delivered for $13.00. The only trouble I have had is with calling the place the phone sometimes says they aren't available. If they can fix it so the phone just rings till someone answers that would be better. read more

This place is pathetic compared to the ones in the city. The guy on the phone told me a hour wait for 1 medium pizza, that's already long but i patiently waited tell a hour and 15 minutes went by called. The guy lies and says oh its on the way he left 10 minutes ago(I live 2 minutes away) I call back at a hour and 30 minutes and they say its on my way. Hour and 45 minutes later they show up and expect me to pay and the excuse is it's raining!! So here i am hungry and pissed off and I'm not paying for that pizza.
