    Never commute w/o coffee

This is the only location I care to deal with. All the other locations don't impress me . Service is spot on for the most part. All McDonalds have their bad days. Lol Usually I can get in and out of this location fairly quickly. Some mornings I pop in to get a cup of coffee. I love their reg coffee. It's a solid cup of coffee for $1! I'll order a hash brown most times, but they can be hit or miss. Can't stand those greasy hash browns they serve sometimes. So they lack consistency there.. the sausage McMuffin (no egg) is pretty good too! The 4 star review is justified because of the coffee and the good service I've received over the years.

So, this location is close to home so I come here on a regular. My orders have been wrong in the past but somehow have not seen that lately. They recently did upgrades and looks much nicer inside, which I rarely go in, unless the drive thru is super busy. Last few times services has been fast, and spot on. I usually get my sausage mcmuffin with coffee, and have always tasted decent to me.

    Beautiful. AND SO YUMMY!!!

The worst mcdonalds I've ever been to the employees are very rude and took forever to cook our food. Waited 45 mind for a cheeseburger.

This is a very casual place good for both families and all others who enjoy a good burger place. The prices are reasonable and there is also a full bar! The crew that work there are excellent and very friendly. You can tell it's truly a team effort by the way they work together!! It's worth trying out and we come whenever we are in that part of town!!

Now is as good of time as any. I liked the bold, vivid colors of the decor. It made me smile. The staff were....not friendly but not stand offish either. Kinda in the middle. We both felt a weird vibe out of the place. Almost an uncomfortableness that's hard to describe. The guy who took our orders was helpful though as we asked questions about the menu. We both ordered the crustburgers and curly fries. The fries were good but the burger wasn't to our liking. It was very crispy and tasteless. I've had smash burgers before (that's really all this is) and they were just really thin burgers. These were unique in that they were really crunchy pieces of....something. I would not order this again on a return visit, if there is one. The price was around $40 for both of us, another letdown. I don't mind spending more for good food. But this place just didn't live up to the hype for me. However, try them for yourself. I've heard breakfast is a winner.

Stopped here while I was in Birmingham for a work trip. I'd heard the brisket tacos were popular,…read moreso of course I had to try one. The brisket was incredible, so tender and melt-in-your-mouth. The soft tortilla itself was seasoned on the outside almost like a BBQ rub, and the taco came with two different sauces and cilantro. I asked for no pico de gallo but it does come with the order. I also tried the collard greens, which came with a little cornbread muffin. The muffin was a touch dry on its own, but soaking it in all those collard green juices? Perfect. The collards were tangy and smoky and definitely different from the way I'm used to them up North, but they were absolutely delicious. Great food, great experience, and I'd come back. I have a feeling I'm going to be thinking about that brisket taco for a long time!

Shout out to Luis and the staffs here! Amazing people, with great hospitality, thank you!…read more The BBQ here.. oh lord.. the ribs were tender packed with flavor my favorite from this place, the brisket was more lean for me but didn't realize you have to request a certain cut for the brisket but Luis was the man! Fixed me right up on the brisket! Tender and juicy, chef's kiss, the wings were so good here as well, with the white sauce.. busssin, and you can't go wrong with $7 frozen/ reg margaritas! They were pretty strong for the price (that's a good thing), overall very wonderful experience here, would recommend and come back! Inside can get very busy, was really packed on Friday non stop but you'll be able to find a table, definitely was worth it, pretty chill inside, outside has patio seatings too, hope your food and experience was as good as mine! GET THAT WHITE SAUCE and extra bbq sauce!

If you're looking for a spot in Birmingham that nails both flavor and vibe, On A Bun absolutely…read moredeserves a visit. I ordered the Fourth Ave with grilled catfish and a side of onion rings, and everything about this meal just worked. The catfish was perfectly cooked with a great, well-balanced flavor that didn't overpower the rest of the sandwich--it all blended together in a way that felt thoughtful rather than thrown together. Now let's talk about those onion rings--easily some of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. What really surprised me (in the best way) was dipping them into the sweet potatoes--an unexpected combo that turned out to be ridiculously good. Service was another highlight. The owner was working the register during my visit, and she was incredibly attentive and welcoming. You can tell there's real pride behind the place, and it shows in how customers are treated. The setup and atmosphere add to the experience too. The open-table layout creates a relaxed, communal feel that makes it easy to strike up conversations or just enjoy the energy of the room. It's comfortable without trying too hard, which fits the vibe perfectly. Location-wise, it's super convenient and walkable to other spots nearby--ideal if you're exploring the area. I also love the flexibility of the menu; being able to choose your protein makes it feel like there are endless combinations to try. As for price, it's very reasonable for the quality you're getting. My meal (with a water) came out to around $20, which felt like a great value. All in all, On A Bun delivers on flavor, hospitality, and atmosphere. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to--and next time, those onion rings are non-negotiable.
