Whataburger franchise located in Fultondale, Alabama that me and my family stopped in for lunch at on our way to Panama City beach from Lousiville. In Lousiville we do not have whataburger franchises. So anytime we get a chance to visit one we jump on the opportunity. So driving down I-65 around lunchtime we see the whataburger sign and hop of the exit here. For a Sunday evening the lobby was slammed packed. We found one table and snatched it up. While we aren't whataburger experts we have eaten at the establishments 3-4 times. So we stuck with our normal orders of whataburger meals. Unfortunately on our visit to this location they only had vanilla shakes. Which is a shame as I love their chocolate shakes. I usually just upgrade my value meal with a shake instead of a drink. In this case I just went with a diet Dr Pepper. The burgers as always were delicious. I really wish we could get some franchises in Kentucky. Maybe one day. Service here was iffy. Took a while to get downtown to man the Register. But once the manager did he was super nice and accommodating. The inside was pretty messy and tables weren't being bussed but they appeared to be short staffed and mildly busy. Overall a tasty visit. Hopefully we pass another whataburger on our week long trip through Thai area as I really want a chocolate milkshake now.

After being on the road for so many hours, we decided to stop and get our first Whataburger. This location is just north of Birmingham. We go up to the counter browse the menu and almost immediately know what we want. My friend got the regular Whataburger I believe and I got the Bacon Cheeseburger. I was impressed with the burger and the fries. I know it's fast food but I would pick Whataburger over McDonalds and Burger King any day, sadly we don't have a Whataburger in Kentucky. Hopefully we get one one day, my friend wasn't impressed but, I was. Meat was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. Staff was friendly, we did wait a little because everything is made fresh. And I had no idea this place has been around since 1950. Wow. Please come to KY so I won't have to drive a long time when I really want one lol.

Tasty burgers, good service, and freebies on the app. What more can you ask for?! The manager on duty the last time I was there was super sweet. The curbside order pickup usually works very well.

What a burger!! This was my first time to ever eat a Whataburger, and I could barely finish half of it. The onion rings were tasty, and the service was very friendly.

Love whataburger! We ate inside this location today and had a good experience. The bathrooms were meh, but otherwise I would recommend. Food was fresh and amazing. Employees very helpful and kind. Got our food quickly during the lunch hour on a weekend. Prices not bad at all especially compared to other similar places. Double cheeseburger is HUGE and so yummy. Whataburger Jr is closer to regular size burger you'd get at competing chains. French fries seasoned and salted very well. Whatachicken sandwich was also really good with lettuce and Mayo. Much more flavorful than competing chicken sandwiches...wish we had Whataburger in more states!! Note this location has zero sugar coke and zero sugar lemonade! Highly recommend.

I really enjoy using the Whataburger mobile app. It makes it super easy to customize sandwiches and burgers. They provide deals and offers in there as well as rewards based on number of visits made. I was able to switch up the honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich into a monster with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, jalapeños, and creamy pepper sauce. Order was correct and done in a short amount of time. I utilized the curbside pickup option to grab my lunch and go.

Absolutely terrible experience. The lobby was empty besides us but we ended up walking 27 minutes for food. Won't EVER be back.

The corn nuggets were good but the trash can nachos were wayyy below my expectations and I didn't expect much. The chicken was cold and the cheese was barely melted and was all at the bottom. For entrees, our group ordered the Jamaican chicken tacos with Brussel sprouts, the copy cat chicken, which came with two sides, I got Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese, and the jalapeño pepper jack burger. The Jamaican chicken tacos were okay, nothing special, literally just chicken (which was cold...again), pineapple, lettuce and cheese. I guess the pineapple alone was supposed to be the Jamaican part, because there was no other flavors. The burger was good. The copy cat chicken was okay as well, it just had one piece of bacon cut in half sitting on top of the chicken with a glob of melted cheese. Thankfully the chicken was room temp, at best, but warmer than the other chicken items. The Mac and cheese just tasted like kraft Mac and cheese, no seasoning included. The Brussel sprouts were the star of the show, they were sooo good. The service was good, our waitress was very nice and friendly and brought everything out relatively quick. I think they had just changed the menu because we attempted to order the chicken parm and it said on the menu that it comes with two sides but the waitress said it didn't but she would give the sides to us free of charge but...the menu said it came with two sides...but then they ended up being out of noodles for the chicken parm. We also ordered blueberry lemon drop drinks and they were very good! The overall ambiance of this place is dive bar vibes, which I don't mind at all, I just wish the food was a little better.

The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service I side was good. There was live music, so that was fun. I had a fried baloney sandwich with Mexican Street Corn. Is that a classic Alabama meal or what? It was fairly bright, didn't really feel like a bar or a restaurant, but the conversation with locals was good and it made for a good night.

The baked beans are very flavorful and delicious too. I usually order the bone-in ribs, but you never know what you're gonna get. Sometimes they're meatier and juicier; other times they're cooked more, with a burnt-like skin. I personally like a little fat on mine, and those portions often lack that. But then come the onion rings. Oh my. I tried them today, and they were wonderful. Some Yelpers complained you don't get many. Well, I had to bag some up because I couldn't finish them alongside my other sides. These are not rings -- these are onion wreaths. Huge slices, made in-house, with a breading so good it should be illegal. I will definitely order them again, and I recommend others risk the carb coma. In fact, I bagged up most of my other sides too. It was a lot of food for one sitting. I felt like a bear preparing for hibernation. My husband commented that Memphis is known for barbecue, but Alabama has some great places too. Full Moon Barbeque is a prime example. Oh, and if you want to sample something on the menu, they're happy to oblige. I wasn't sure about an item, so they let me try it - much better than ordering a full portion and being disappointed. Honestly, I don't think you'll be dissatisfied with anything on the menu. The service here is excellent. Everyone is very friendly, helpful, and mannerly. They genuinely want to make sure you enjoy your food. They check on you without hovering, and they seem to actually care about your experience, not just turning tables. It's the kind of service that makes you want to come back. One more thing: if you want authentic Southern sweet tea, order it here. It's mouthwatering -- literally. The kind of sweet tea that makes your eyes close for a second after the first sip. Add a lemon slice, and you'll want more even after you've quenched your thirst.

Chain restaurants aren't usually my thing, but I'll try a small regional one every once in a while…read more This place was hopping for a Tuesday night, which was a good sign. I ordered the deviled eggs, smoked wings, and fried okra. Let's start with the okra -- if you're from Indiana, the only fried okra you've probably had is from Cracker Barrel or Church's Chicken, and let's be honest, that's usually subpar. This, however, was perfect: not greasy, lightly breaded, and just the right texture -- not mushy, not hard. The deviled eggs weren't as good as mine (and that's a high bar), but they were still flavorful, light, and refreshing. Now, the smoked wings -- anyone who's tried to smoke wings knows how hard it is to get them right without turning them rubbery. These weren't crispy like fried wings, but they had tons of flavor and were cooked well. The surprise of the night was the barbecue sauce. First off, they keep it warm in a water bath in crockpots -- genius move. Who wants cold sauce on warm food? Second, it's labeled as award-winning, and as someone who's usually not a BBQ sauce fan, I'll admit... it's pretty darn good. Overall, Full Moon BBQ delivered. Friendly vibe, great food, and a few clever touches that make it worth checking out
