None of the beverage/ condiment area was stocked and ready for business. No tea on the counter anymore which is strange. The inside of the restaurant is nice. The ketchup dispenser was shooting out ketchup at about Mach 10 and it was orange so definitely not touching that. Asked for ketchup packets was given three and then told they were out and she'd look through the back. She finally came with some but aren't these supposed to be stocked and ready to go for lunch? While passing through Tipton, Indiana, today I stopped at the drive thru of this McDonald's and received the worst food I've ever had at a McDonald's anywhere. I'm 65 years old, so I've been to a few. I ordered a fish fillet meal plus an extra cheeseburger. The bun of the fish sandwich was so dry that it crumbled in my hand. The bun was also cold while the fish fillet itself was just kind of warm. The cheese was not even melted on the fillet. The cheeseburger bun was so cold that I noticed it when I took it out of the sack. It was like they'd had the buns stored in an unheated room before slapping the meat on them. The thin piece of meat could not overcome the cold bun so the entire cheeseburger was cold to the point that the cheese could not melt. The only saving grace was that the french fries were at least hot, and the staff was friendly. read more

3 out of 4 times I have been there they did not have common/advertised items I ordered. 2 out of the 4 cashiers knew what they were doing, actually made eye contact, knew how to make you feel welcome, & have a conversation with a customer. The food never looks like the commercials, most of the time it is mid to worse. The food is a better part of this place. The worst part about it is that they neglects their dining room. Most of the time there is hardly anyone there. I have never seen anyone push a broom, mop, nor a towel anywhere in the dining room. Places, today, are going down in quality. Prices are up & quality is down. No wonder people skip restaurants anymore. Advice - act like you want to be there. Take some pride in how you present yourself. Do your job as it reflects who you are, because it does. A little work can go a long way. The people do act like they are trying, some better than others. Congratulations to this McDonald's because I've eaten in a lot of McDonald's in different states and this has the worse food in all the McDonald's I've been to. The Big Mac was full of the secret sauce, very little meat and it was terrible. Got a latte and it was warn milk with no flavor, the French fries ok. We were passing through and stopped for breakfast. Ordered two sandwiches on same order. Representative did not mention the special 2 for $5 and we did not know. We asked if combo meal is same price - and they said basically. Again no mention of special. We paid $13- should have been $5 - so this franchise made $8 on us since we did not ask the right questions. Bad for a small home town supposedly. Tried to call- but phone just rang. The Tipton McDonalds is gross. I have avoided this location because it usually has employees that are not the cleanest and I usually just get a drink. Well today I took a chance ( I know it was not smart on my part) I ordered a breakfast sandwich. I figured a bacon, egg, cheese bagel sandwich was self explanatory. Literally the only 24hrs restaurant in the area, so it pretty much has a monopoly on lunch for 3rd shift Chrysler employees such as myself. Apparently, this is not enough incentive to provide quality service. Since they have nobody to contend with, employees decide to slack off on a whim and provide lackluster service. I waited 10 minutes for a sausage biscuit from employees who had zero craps to give about my existence. Used to never have problems here until recently. Came home after going out with some friends and got into the drive through line at 3:30am and wanted to order dinner type food (burgers/fries). Sat there for a good 25min, tried talking to the speaker to get someones attention. Then some guy came outside and changed the menu to breakfast! REALLY!?! We weren't interested in breakfast so we just left. Second time was more recent and waited at the "3rd window" forever for my food.
