I don't know what kind of McMess others are talking about in their reviews, but THIS McDonald's? It's the bestest of all Mickey D's on the Bridgeport/Trumbull city line. Food? Always hot like it just got out of a spa. Fresh & tasty? Always makes me what to do a dance party w/ Beyoncé or the cabbage patch! The staff? Super friendly, helpful, and not stingy with the sauces. You want three Sweet 'n Sours and a Tangy BBQ just for one nugget? They got you. No eye rolls, no sauce tax, no guilt trips. Now, the inside is definitely cozy. Like, blink and you're at the other wall cozy but it work(feels like a cute lil burger cave).The only hiccup? That drive-thru is like the Hunger Games meets NASCAR. Pure chaos. If you survive it, you've earned those fries. 10/10, would dodge traffic cones for this place again. read more

We stopped in this morning after my doctor's appointment and so glad we did. The restaurant was absolutely immaculately clean and after struggling with the kiosk to order, a very helpful employee jumped in to assist with the order. We rarely eat fast food as typically the experience isn't the best, but this particular franchise could teach others. At least this crew working this morning (10/29). The food was hot, fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend. read more

I was staying nearby at a hotel and wanted a to grab a quick meal. I ordered ahead on the app and had a little wait for a my food once I got in. I'd say that this was about as average a McDonald's as I've been to, and we all know how McDonald's food tastes. read more

Wow, sorry to see the previous bad reviews, which seem undue and unfair, especially after the 2018 reopening. This McDonald's is now quite popular - always full of people circulating at all times - the drive through and parking (often can't even find parking). New renovation, opened in 2018, and is more modern and sleek design, incorporating do-it-yourself order machines, similar to those already existing in Europe. Portion size of food increased as for a while, it had been small and dry. Now it makes large and hot burgers, seemingly fresh, all well cooked. My guess is all the satisfied hundreds of people that go there per day wouldn't bother to rate a "fast food place" and so only a few unhappy people go and Yelp about it (begging the question of whether we should all do better things with our lives rather than Yelp about fast food places, myself included, but that's another discussion). Only downsides - for a fast food place, it should cost less and is too pricey (about 2x the price of fast food in North Carolina and Delaware for instance), but unfortunately inflation in restaurants in CT (especially fast food) has gone up quite a lot. The parking and drive-through: because there are always so many people at all times, the parking is cramped and very close to busy shopping center, not ideal. read more

Bad experience, I've been here a couple of times. No attention to details. Ordered a bagel with egg, cheese, and tomatoes. Paid extra $1.00 for egg white, was asked if I wanted "breakfast sauce" no clue what that it? Got my bagel, no tomatoes and was told another $0.59 for a slice of tomato. What a rip off. A regular bagel with meat cost $3.00 without it's almost $5.00 ridiculous to charge more. They could had substitute it for the meat. read more

The staff at this location is a hit or miss. Tonight the clerk at the pick up drive thru menu was incredibly rude. Give 3 drinks plus a sundae to a single driver in a car and she gets mad when asked for a tray! With an attitude says that your all set and when questioned about the happy meal ordered looks over to her right to see it. Does not apologize or even look at the customer, rudely gives the box. Only to get home and the nuggets that my daughter ordered in the Happy Meal are not there! Tried calling the location but guess what...no one picks up and their voicemail is FULL. My burger was messed up (they put onions on it when we specifically asked them not to.), so my sister went back and told them that they got it wrong, the girl apologised and said they'd fix it. They gave us a new burger and we left, then found out that not only did they still put onions on it, they also put everything else on that we asked for them not to. Just went here and ordered a Number 4. On the screen it was wrong. I corrected the order (their mistake) at the first window. I get to the 2nd window and I get a number 3. I let them know I ordered a number 4. She says "no you didnt". I show her my receipt then she asks for my quarter pounder back, she then purposely drops it out the window and laughs then tells me to park. No I walk in to get a refund and I watch the girl spitting in my meal. I ask Sophie for the manager and she says "I'm the manager" I asked for the District manager and she said there isn't one. Mile long lines because they don't know what they are doing. Finally get to the register go to use Apple Pay. Won't go through. Tried 3 times. Finally run to car to get wallet and credit card won't go through. Switch cards (even though I know first one was good) and it won't even go through. Machine isn't even acknowledging the swipes. Terrible service and rude workers! Although the inside should be open until 11:00pm on weekends, the lazy help manages to cloth the doors by 10:00 - 10:15. Only the drive-Thru window is open. This happens quite frequently and they get away with it. read more
