Curbside order. Usually around 5 minutes all over town. Took 16 minutes. Asked for Xtra mustard Instead the color blind person put so much ketchup that is was all over bun and wrapper. 3 shakes, 2 Shamrock, 1 made correctly other small amount of green at top. Brought food out in an open bag, not folded over. Been on the counter for all that time. Frys, hamburgers, filet of fish cold. And milkshakes all melted. Since they closed the lobby it's like they don't care because they know no one is driving back up there to wait in a long line at drive through and let's face it who wants to get another order after complaining. read more

I visited McDonalds in Vandalia, OH on January 1, 2020 and found a 1" x 3/4" bolt in my food. After contacting McDonald's customer service, I was advised to contact the local franchise owner, Brad Baker. I spoke with Brad Baker on January 7, 2020 and he blamed the issue on the supplier of the eggs used in the breakfast burrito. Brad assured me he would respond back to me no later than Thursday, January 9, 2020. Today is January 15, 2020 and I have received no response. Worst customer service ever! read more

The service has gone to the dogs. If I could give zero stars I would. The lobby was dirty, the cashier was not at the counter to even take your order. After waiting for 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge a customer was at the counter, an employee that was on break came around the counter and took orders. It wasn't busy as it was 9pm on a Monday (New Year's Eve) so we chatted her up. She was nice and took good care of us. This McDonald's has gone down hill by quite a lot in the last few years. At one point in time you use to be able to get a good burger and fries and them not forget your sauces. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. The last 3 times I have been there they have forgotten my sauces and the food has been below sub par. I was unable to finish any of my meals. This is specifically for how the operation is run at this location. and truth is..more often than not, pretty solid. Drive thru moves pretty quickly. Even long before covid the Vandalia McDonalds started going down hill. I have lived in Vandalia for 15 years and had always thought the McDonalds here was the best in the Dayton area until about the last year. I'm not sure if management has changed but the customer service and food have really gone down hill. My most recent experience we ordered 2 double cheese burgers and a mcchicken with no mayo add mustard. What we got was 2 plain dry double cheese burgers and a mcchicken with extra Mayo. Something like this happens every visit. We also ordered a Diet Coke and they said they were out of Diet Coke.....how does that happen. Best bacon clubhouse chicken burger. This burger has kept me comming here again and again. Right textured chicken (fried or grilled), excellent taste, balanced flavors, mildly sweet caramelized onions, crunchy bacon-without fat, and artisan bun--makes this burger very addictive. We ordered our food. We noticed there was an error on our order and notified the people at the window. We were told that the correct instructions were given verbally, so our food would be correct. The manager heard that the store owner was in line at the drive-through. So the drive-through started sending cars out to park in the wait spots, to get the store owner through quickly, to at least give the appearance that the line was moving quickly. Eventually there were four cars waiting for the drive-through in the parking lot. Then the people bringing out food didn't even know which food went with which cars. One time a woman walked around asking every car, and eventually gave up, unable to find the car to match the food she was carrying. When we got our order, the food was wrong, just as we predicted and tried to prevent. So we had to get out and walk in, exactly as should have been prevented (1) by getting the order put in correctly the first time (2) by fixing the order when we told them a second time at the window and (3) by giving it to us at the window, like usual, we would have caught it and wouldn't have had to exit the vehicle. Then they didn't even apologize when we went back in to get the right food. This was one big epic fail. read more

I appreciate you guys because even when it's busy you are fast, and never mess up my order. If it is super packed, you actually let us know that it's going to be a minute on my food, you still hand me my drink so I have something while I wait, and you double check to see if I want any sauces before telling me to pull up in the waiting part of the parking spots. Once I've already pulled up and I'm parked waiting for food, if somebody comes walking a bag of food towards me, and there is no sauce, it would be a lot of hassle to go back inside and walk back to my car, or drive all the way around again so I just appreciate the extra effort and consideration from guys. read more
