Oh my stars. I went through the drive through at 10pm on a Friday night. I wanted a cheese burger and ice cream. The food was ok. Burger was tasty and the ice cream sundae was average. The fudge was hard. Probably wont do that again. There were 5 cars in front of me. It took almost 30 minutes to pay for our food, get the food and leave. It seemed like there were 2 people on staff, a cook and a cashier. I'm stunned at how far the level of service has fallen with McD. It is so disappointing. read more

I haven't been inside a Mcdonalds in YEARS. But was forced to go in because after waiting for 10 mins in the drive through, then having the line of cars completely stop for whatever reason, I was sick of waiting. Parked & went in. Sadly McDonald's hides where customers can make a formal complaint. Customers waiting with receipts in hand for their food. None looked too happy. Guy behind counter was obviously having a bad day. Very short handed. When he started taking the order of a father with a pack of little kids that came in after me, I let out a huge sigh, to which he said snarkily, "is there something I can help you with ma'am?" I explained the situation, but instead he had the temerity to tell me that I was standing in the wrong place for orders, when he obviously saw me WELL before Daddio & crew. He disappeared behind the wall and i then heard someone loudly blow their nose. Didn't see if they had washed hands before returning to the front, but I'd had enough. Drove across the street to a COMPETITOR, where they gave me a lovely dinner i had at home. So McDonald's on 18 in Waukesha WI, you need to STEP UP YOUR GAME. The order services are completely messed up. We have been coming to this joint since last two years and it was perfect at that time. But now we have been receiving incorrect items in our order for the last 3 times. Initially we thought it was a mistake and brushed it off. But now it seems to be a intentional mistake. Food prep is blocked from view. Food workers don't wear gloves. I alerted the manager and made them redo the whole order then I threw it away because the food prep was hidden from view so for all I know her licked his hands before prepping the food. To start... we pulled up at 11:15 and left nobody said anything for a good 13 minutes. Then we ordered 10 chicken nuggets, Medium fry and drink, and a plain cheeseburger. I've only ever gone through the drive-through at this McDonalds, but the staff is very friendly and the service quick. I've never had to wait for my food, even if I've waited in a long line. They also have given me coupons, which I like! Advice: don't go to this McDonalds between 4 and 5:30 p.m. if you're expecting to get in and get out. This was probably one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I came here just to grab something quick for my lunch break, so I ordered my food and was waiting to get my change back, they ran out of $1 bills so I waited there for 5 minutes just to get my $4 back. It was very irritating. I even got my food before I got my change back. With that being said, I got my food and asked for some ranch real quick to the lady standing right in front of me. She gave me the nastiest glare and continued on with her conversation. I stood there waiting just for one flippin ranch cup as she continued to talk. Eventually I got the ranch cup and she threw it in my bag without even looking at me or the bag. I only went through the drive-thru so I can't speak about what the inside looks like but the drive-thru service was quick. There was no unnecessary waiting because of employees slacking. The food was hot and made correctly - my husband ordered 2 burgers with extra pickles and I ordered the same burger but without onions and they were all made correctly the FIRST time! We always use the restroom first before we order. The restroom appeared clean, but it stunk so bad and the bowls of the toilets had a scummy yellow ring, as in not cleaned for a few days. We were not hungry enough to overcome the disgusting restroom experience to be able to order food there. If the rating system had a half star, that's what I would've given them. read more

The staff is very friendly but the service is ungodly slow. They hardly give you a receipt and if you ask them not to include something i.e. mayonnaise, pickles, onions they will typically add extra. I would not recommend this McDonalds to anyone. I have had poor experiences nearly every time I've gone. When you open up your food it looks like they literally threw your food down a hill, and then handed it to you. Condiments that are supposed to be on the food are everywhere but. You pick up your food and you have to wipe your hands after every bite and it makes a mess everywhere. I used the drive-thru a week or so back and the worker must not have known her microphone to talk was on because I heard two females talking trash about what appeared to me as an elderly lady who had a question about the menu which I heard as I sat and waited at the menu board for an unreasonable amount of time considering I could hear them talking. If I could give this a 0 stars I would... a few months ago the woman at the drive thru didn't give me my card back so the next morning I noticed and went in. They didn't want to acknowledge my issue, made me wait 10 minutes for someone to even ask what it looked like, and never even bothered to look into it so I had to cancel the card. Staff sucks. I waited in drive thru for like 6minutes. When they finally devided to start taking orders I asked about the salads and no one knew what was on a southwest salad except the manager. I had to leave the drive thru go inside and order just so someone could properly explain to me what the hell was on it because the menus dont advertise them... The whole staff was standing around laughing and swearing as the line of drive thru cuatomers racked up. The manager or supervisor had to ask an employee 4 times to drop nuggets as shes laughing with another employee ignoring him... Y'all want 15$ an hr but cant act right in the workplace... This is the worst mcdonalds I have ever been to. It is run by kids and they dont know what they are doing. I went through the drive through and had a promo code on the app that gives a bogo breakfast sandwich. The worker said it was invalid. I suggested to him to add the items from the meal separately and he tried and he couldn't figure out how to do it. Another young worker comes over and apparently the computer freezes. Promo code still doesn't work. They get the manager and say just go to the next window. I do and they told me I have to back up and pay at the previous window. I said no way! There is a long line of cars behind me now. I gave them the card and told them to run back there. But I want my discounted breakfast sandwich. They came back no receipt and said the printer was down. They handed me my items after discussing it for awhile. My food at this point was cold and wrong. I asked for super well done hashbrowns and they were undercooked! I stopped at this McDonald's at around 2-pm today. The food wasn't that fresh, but at least it was hot. It tasted pretty good except for the lettuce in my McChicken... The lettuce had seen better days... It was brown and at least 8 days old so I picked it off and gave it to the dogs. But overall the food was okay. It was what you'd expect from a McDonald's. The cashier however was very stern, and didn't smile or say a word after she gave me the change (which was wrong). After being disappointed by how much she hated me I examined the receipt. The total was 2.51 and I gave her 2.75. On the receipt it said "Cash Tendered 2.51" and "Change 0.00" And she gave me 15 cents back... -_-; She was too busy hating me that she didn't even enter it correctly and then just guessed how much change to give back. (The correct change would have been 24 cents, not 15 cents.) She owes me 9 cents and a better attitude. The only thing that saved the whole experience was the woman who handed me my bag of food. She was very professional, friendly, and had kindness in her eyes. Go to this McDonald's if you're willing to settle for an average, bitter-sweet experience.
