I went for lunch at the location in West Columbia at 11:02 a.m. When I asked the cashier about the value menu he replied "I don't think we have that anymore." I questioned him in detail and he replied "I don't think so." I asked for a manager that knows what is available but he did not go get anyone. I told him we were going to leave. As we left, I could hear him and his co-worker at the order counter making sarcastic remarks about me. The food is always cold. I ordered a Nugget meal, a coke and a Big Mac. The Big Mac was stone cold. The fries were undercooked and cold. The Coke had no carbonation and was flat and tasteless. Horrible food every time and this was the final time I will ever go there. read more

Between the horrible service and the steady decline of quality this is the last time I try giving this McDonald's a chance. The signs says the drive through opens at 5am, and you'll see staff inside but they seem to refuse to do their jobs. Tried to use the mobile app ome my way home from work the other nitr. Mobile order to save time was a waste of time. The clerk didn't understand how to do this and had to get help. Wait was over 15 min for 2 coffees and 1 French fry. Untrained workers and management did not seem to care one bit for the long wait everyone had. Will not return here soon. Wow don't order breakfast online, even though the app tells you to hurry up and get your order in because breakfast will end soon. I got my order in more than 10 minutes before 10:30. Do I really need to write a review of McDonald's?? I've never had a bad food experience, here. It's McDonald's food. Many of the reviews of this location look to have been done in 2018, as the location was undergoing a major remodel. Turnover here is about average, so you can't expect too much from the staff. Still, I have always found them polite. I like the self-order kiosk inside. There can be the usual wait at the drive thru, even with two ordering lanes--I always seem to be behind the person with the long, complicated order! The play area is fun for the kids; the new interior is very nice, by fast food/McDonald's standards. read more

I've grown up in the area and have eaten here my whole life. 90% of the time they get your food wrong, and when you complain there's a 50/50 chance the manager will give a crap. Once I went in around 8 am and ordered 7 McMuffins. I waited about half an hour and when I got them I realized they where just the bread to the McMuffins. I thought it was strange so I looked at my ticket and saw that she'd rang it up at 7 muffins. I told the manager, who was now running register, what'd happened and she just retook my order kinda. She asked what I wanted and I said "7 sausage McMuffins" and she asked if I wanted egg, not at all an issue it's a rational question. I said no and she looked really confused. "No egg?" She asked. I said no just sausage cheese and bread. "Would you like eggs with that?" She asked again. I said no. So she asked what I wanted and I told her again, and she asked me AGAIN if I wanted eggs. This went on for a good 10 minutes and that's being conservative. By that time I felt like I was about to pop a blood vessel so I just asked for my money back before I lost my temper. And I've had worse experiences there that's just the most recent. I've also had AMAZING experiences there too, where I'll order food and get it really fast and everyone's nice and sweet. But those experiences are few and far in between. You don't go there for customer service, Bc there's practically none, you go there to eat, and that's if you're lucky to get your order correct. And 80% of the time it isn't going to be. I actively avoid this place at all costs to the point where me and my friends travel to lake Jackson to eat McDonald's despite the fact we all live in west Columbia, Brazoria and Sweeny. And if we're eating in town we just go to jack n the box, which has all the rudeness you can find at McDonald's but atleast they generally get your order rite. read more

Horrible Service orders are never filled properly...should be closed down by the health department.

The food is still bad for you but it gets you full when you've only got a few bucks on you. Service has gotten a bit better.
