    Boogie boards!

Get what you need from The Big Store! When in the peninsula, you go to The Big Store for the stuff you didn't bring with you! Lines can get long, but just pick one and you will get checked out by a nice person! You can tell the locals by the way they interact with the store folks.

pineapples were on sale for 99cents today! my kids love pineapples! And they have this cool machine that cuts and slices them for you. We slice up a couple of pineapples and when we get to the checkout, they charge us $7.99 for each one. I show them that they are on sale for 99 cents. The cashier gets another cashier who says that sliced pineapple is $7.99. Nowhere on the machine does it say that. I ask for a manager- an older lady- who tells me that it's $7.99 regardless of the fact that the pineapple tag says 99 cents. Then I tell her that she should probably label the machine so everyone knows if you buy a 99 cent pineapple, they will charge you $7 for a machine to cut it. She tells me that she's not interested in doing that And it's too bad! She is SO rude to me. Honestly, awful service! I hope the owner reads this review and at the very least; puts a sign on the machine.

Great spot on Crystal Beach. Not a lot of anything but they have a little bit of everything! If you need it, they have it.

The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. I was also very impressed that they prepared the gluten-free sandwiches in separate containers from the rest of the order. I ordered the B Major, and unfortunately I didn't enjoy it. My main issue was the meat--it tasted low quality to me, and the texture was off. There was a good amount of it, but overall it just didn't work for me and I ended up not really finishing the sandwich. Based on my order alone, I would rate it around 3 stars. My husband ordered the Reuben and, on the other hand, he really enjoyed his and had no complaints, which is part of why I've given a slightly higher overall rating. The service and atmosphere were fine, but based on my experience with the food, I personally wouldn't return. There are just too many other places on our list to try, and this one didn't stand out enough for me to revisit.

Lots of good options on the menu, and I was craving their famous cinnamon roll pancakes, but then a server brought out migas to a table and I immediately knew I wanted that instead. Here, it's a little opposite from most places, you gotta pick your seat first then order as the seats, especially the tables, are hard to come by at times. There are plenty stools along the window but the tables are better and most tables are family style so you'll likely be meeting someone new. I also added a chocolate bread pudding for myself which looked really good. The rest of my group ordered the granny's breakfast with sausage, 2 scrambled eggs and Benny's tostadas. The food comes out surprisingly quick for as busy as they are. Everything was so delicious! I ate a little of the bread pudding at the restaurant, then eventually ate the rest over the course of the next few hours. Yum! This restaurant is highly recommended!

After you finally order you get to try and find one of their dirty tables to sit at then wait way too long for terrible food. The food could not be more terrible, this is what they call biscuits and gravy and it tasted as bad as it looks, I think the best way to describe the color of the gravy is orange, which is weird. I had one bite of the biscuit and gravy and it was so bad that the stray cat that jumped on our table did not even want it, but it could have also been because of all the flies because the little fly fan at our table did not work but it also might have been from the constant smell from the sewer drain located right in the seating area. My wife had a chicken bagel egg sandwich- not good....all our food went in the trash. This is not a restaurant it is a disaster, do not believe the positive reviews.

I've had sandwiches in NYC and Boston, but Tony's were definitely better! The menu is overwhelming because so much sounds good, so we went with two 7 inch sandwiches to split--one hot and one cold. Although a helpful tip from the cashier is that you can order any cold sandwich hot. We had the Lucky Luciano (hot) and the Sophia (cold). Both were really good--it was hard to choose between the two. But if I'm being honest, that cold sandwich was reminiscent of subs I loved in the early 2000s from places that no longer exist...with that super thinly sliced turkey, thick slice of Swiss cheese, and basil mayo--it really hit the spot. We also had a cannolo--not as good as others I've had. The bottled root beer was delightful. The Lucky Luciano was the kind of sandwich I came here for, and don't get me wrong, it is deliciously cheesy and will make your hands messy. But the Sophia is the kind of sandwich I'll be craving. My only regret was not taking a sandwich to-go for later. Open a location closer to Houston, please. :)

They are a pepsi place (booooooo!), and there's no diet pepsi (pepsi zero is their only zero calorie soda option). If you drink Diet Coke (most popular diet drink in USA), then you don't want diet pepsi, but you'll probably drink it if you have to; however, you're very likely to hate pepsi zero (and Coke Zero, too), so no soda for you here anymore! A full Coke setup that also includes Dr Pepper AND Diet Dr Pepper is ideal. I realize a pepsi fountain is more profitable because of distributor incentives, but pepsi is favored by almost nobody and hated by many...so is it really worth it? Tony's is so great that pepsi just does not fit in. Hopefully they don't deteriorate further and change to Wonderbread for all of their sandwiches. Bottom line: at the very least, please add diet pepsi to your soda machine if that brand remains in place.

Lots of seating, great wait staff, and the sandwiches are gigantic--as they should be for the price. $30 for a sandwich on average. We split an open face pastrami (which they brought an extra plate) and we are glad we did. The potato salad is tiny. Too much sandwich for one but not enough potato salad for two! The pickles they provide before your sandwich arrives are yummy- not like a traditional out of the bar pickle. These are what I remember from NYC. Garlic and not sweet. We also had the apple pie alamode. Also pricey and gigantic. It was warm and delicious. Glad we tried this icon. We went at lunch and they get quite the crowd. You are not rushed at all.
