Unfortunately they don't accept my insurance, (go figure) but I needed it so what could I do, right. $549.00! So I am standing there waiting to pay that out ragious pice. The pharmacist called me to the side questioned me about my insurance and when he found out I had Government Issued insurance for Veterans he said let me check something. So 2 mins later he came back and said, with the discounts he could find he wss able to get my prescription down to $160.15!!!! THAT MY FRIEND IS AND WAS WONDERFUL! HE definitely went above and beyond his customer service, he actually cared and helped. Je definitely get Huge Kudos for all he did.

We are used to polite, knowledgable and helpful service from CVS in Michigan. When trying to talk with the pharmacists I was told "if you are not happy maybe you should take your business some place else". The sheer lack of respect for the customer is incredible. We will never step foot into another CVS because of the rudeness and incredible lack of respect Brittany and Molly have for the very people they serve. It is very clear that the management and training of these two employees is missing. There is also an environment of talking about the customers when they are not around. We witnessed them talking about customers in the open in front of other customers, that is very unprofessional. I would encourage anyone who has experienced this type of treatment from the New Castle Indiana store to stand up and make it known, ask for the resignation of anyone who fails to show you respect and take your business elsewhere as we have done after many years with CVS. Restrooms were cleaner than most & they had someone, who actually did come in to clean on a regular…read morebasis. Some of the sinks did not work. Automated, but no water. The store itself was relatively clean. Fruit & Vegetables were seconds at best. Many items were too old to be on the shelves. Strawberries for example had many, that were on the way to rot. Fresh corn was old & over priced for the quality offered. Deli items were not at their best & did not invite my attention. Staff at the deli were slow, items under stocked. One of the workers slicing meats& cheese for packaging, yelled at another worker because she had walked over to help a customer at the deli, & had to grab some containers in the back "for her to help her"; worker coming back to finish helping deli customer; had to yell over to that worker, that in fact she was helping deli customers. Some issue there, as to who wants to be boss perhaps. Fairly well stocked in store otherwise. Saddens me to see, that Walmart continues to substitute their own brands for brands I would prefer, rather than the lower standard products they are putting out. From stones and crystals, to books on spellwork and moon phases, spellwork supplies, smudging supplies, oils and incense. The more you look, the more you find. The space is located in a building considered to be historical in downtown Anderson. Once an auction house, it also housed one of my favorite tattoo artists for a time. So I was excited to see what the women who own Twisted Twigs had made of the space, and I was not disappointed. The whole place just radiates with cheery vibes and so many sights and smells that you want to draw in. I would have loved to have collected books from the shelves and curl up in their pile of pillows on the floor and read and drink tea for hours. Alas, I also had others with me, including the toddler granddaughters. I was low on smudging supplies and was pleasantly surprised with their prices. Compared to what I typically pay ordering online, their prices are competitive enough that I'd rather drive up to their shop to buy from them and indulge in the atmosphere and other treats. I also picked up a planner that I've been eyeing online, after being able to really see what it consists of. This quickly became one of my top favorite shops!

I have a favorite florist on the North side, but I thought the delivery address may be out of their zone or I would have to pay extra. So, to Yelp I went! And, once again, the Yelp community came through in a big way! Penny's was the best reviewed florist in the area I was searching. Honestly, I was a little nervous because their featured image is of 30 floor lamps and not flowers. But I realized they also sell home decor (& more!). And I couldn't really argue with the 4.8 rating (4.9 after this review??). I have never visited Penny's in person, but I may stop by sometime to check out the housewares. I did my shopping online like you do for most florists. The website was easy to navigate and included pictures of the flower arrangements. I was also pleasantly surprised by their prices. They offered several price ranges, but even the lower range still offered great selections. I chose one right in the middle. Checking out was a breeze, as well as inputting all of the delivery information. There wasn't a way to select a time for delivery that I saw. You can type in requests, but there is also a note that says time requests are not guaranteed. But I moved forward hoping my delivery would take place during the business day. On the day of delivery, I received a courtesy call at 8:30am that he flowers were on their way and would be delivered in about an hour! The arrangement was beautiful, smelled exquisite, and looked like the photo online. Well, done, Penny's. Well, done! While my favorite bouquet continues to be that of a fine, red wine, I truly appreciate the scent of fresh-cut flowers. Over the past few years, I have realized just how important smell is to me. Whether it's the aroma of dinner roasting in the oven, lighting a candle after cleaning the house, or an intoxicating perfume lingering in the air... smells are powerful. Fresh flowers brighten up a room both aesthetically and olfactory-lly (?!).

(I moved to the West Coast) so I can not speak to the friendliness or knowledge of the staff but the girl I encountered tonight was friendly even though I came in 15 minutes before closing time. They had all of the items I needed including Redken color. I do feel that they should move to a much larger location because this one is way too small to have everything they have crammed in it. Makes for awkward maneuvering around it all. All in all I have no big complaints.

Location aside I have received consistently great customer service over many years. I HIGHLY recommend this over the 'UPS Store' where they'll tell you they don't make any money just shipping your items. I also believe UPS is better than the USPS as they can be very slow to deliver items and are always very busy. This store's hours as of November 2018: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Horrible customer service. Rude management. I was discharged from the hospital after a diabetic…read moreepisode and told my Insulin was ready at Phillips. I called en route and was told it was there, but needed prior authorization. I called my doctor, who then called Phillips and cleared everything up. I returned to Phillips and was told they did NOT have my insulin (after being told they DID have it earlier, it just need authorization), and would not have it until the next day. Phillips played back and forth games with life saving medicine so long until I could not even transfer the prescription to CVS or another competitor because they had all closed. I confronted the man behind the counter, who proceeded to lie to me, about what he said to both me, my doctor and the my nurse. We were all three told, multiple times, that Phillips HAD IT IN STOCK, but it needed authorization. Then after my doctor called them and got it authorized, he again confirmed it WAS THERE and READY. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again, ever.
