They will use the excuse "did you get a bill with that amount?? " When they clearly tell you over the phone how much you owe and ask you to send a check.. Scammers.. Shysters... Total Crooks... The interruptions continue, sometimes while making phone calls, which is, needless to say, extremely annoying. Best suggestion I can offer to anyone considering Kraus is to try to find alternatives. Digital TV can be gotten off the air for little more than the cost of a good antenna and amplifier. AT&T's residential phone service is much more reliable than Kraus' VoIP. I can't speak to AT&T's Internet service, but in general, DSL is more reliable than CATV.

But, when pressed, they admit their spam filter is blocking messages and not providing any notice. We spent a few hours attempting to diagnose not receiving very important messages after Kraus stated they were not blocking messages. Also, they "do not plan any upgrades" to the email system because they are considering cancelling it. I use two Starlink accounts, one for a coach and one for backup at my home where I also have Frontier fiber service. Both Starlink and Frontier are vastly preferable to the Kraus service.
