Do you know how difficult it is to track someone down from a landscape service to even return a phone call or message? IT IS! (I couldn't even get Blocks Greenhouse to return my two messages!) Insert the prompt referral from Kurtzhals (thank you a million times) to Wrights. I placed 6 phone calls to other landscape companies- and Wrights is the ONLY one that contacted me back. But not only did they contact me back- they did so with 20 minutes of my initial phone call. The owner came out within two weeks right on time for our scheduled appointment. He was professional, kind, real and very upfront with each step that would take place. I informed him that my husband is "thorough" in his research for our home project needs, and he agreed that he would take on any and all questions my dear husband had. A month later and 3 additional estimates from vendors my husband ended up finding on his own- and as a surprise to me while I was away- my husband found Wrights to be the most professional and reasonable out of everyone he contacted. And the plants themselves were top notch (and all at full retail pricing). As for the rest (i.e.: the job itself, the quality of materials, quality the work, the attention to detail, communication with the customer and between management and the crew, professionalism, work ethic, follow-up, overall satisfaction with the experience, etc.), I'll refrain from posting the 500 word review that I wrote, and let the rating speak for itself. Simply put, the experience was not what I had expected from a company with a 30 year history in the community. None of this should come as a surprise, as there were issues at every stage. They also seeded our yard and got grass seed everywhere, including the garden. The next 2 months I was pulling grass blades out of the garden. The fertilizer services always pretty good. It took 8 trips I think, but eventually our yard was weed free. Extra visits are free, which is really nice. They came put one to two times a month at no extra cost to keep battling the weeds. I won't keep the service next year as our yard is pretty good, but my plan is to use them every other year to keep our yard healthy and take care of it as best I can the year in between.
